　　The manufacturing process uses high-performance chip-making technologies
　　including silicon-on-insulator, strained silicon and copper wiring and is based on
　　a 90-nanometer chip making process. A nanometer is one-billionth of a meter.

ということで，驚くべき話わIBMの90nmプロセスにstrained silicon(歪みシリコン技術)が投入
されていたことす。もともとstrained siliconわ，IBMが学会発表なんかで先行していたすけど，
Intelがなにやら画期的な量産法を発表して90nmでの実用化にこぎ着けていたす。
IBMも意地で90nmに間に合わせて来たという感じすね。
