whiteboxのミラーサイトはおそらくほとんど親のrsyncサーバ rsync://mirror.physics.ncsu.edu/whitebox
からrsyncでミラーしています。そこに問い合わせたところ、以下の返事。

The upstream tree changed at some point causing file to get deleted
and I am still trying to sync down the changes. The upstream server
has an extremely slow connection. Try again at the beging of next week.
来週頭頃には復旧する見込みだそうです。
