先に言っておきたいのは、 ・ I have been at the library. ・ I have been in the library. ・ I have been to the library. の違いは、専門家でもかなり意見の分かれるところがあり、 深入りは避けてほしい事項だということ。 つまり、前置詞によって何用法か決めることはせずに、 完了形と一緒に使われる副詞語句と前後の文脈をしっかり見極めるほうが良い。
