あ〜腹立つ、何とかしたいがどうにもならんのか

Despite the intimidating atmosphere, Japan coach Zico said
he was proud of the way his side responded to the catcalls
and even appeared to dare Chinese fans to bring it on for
the champions final group game against Iran on July 30.

"If the booing makes us score four goals, then I hope we get
the same reception every game. We won this game. We hope
that we can win the next game with the booing from the fans,"
the legendary Brazilian told journalists before the fans rushed
his team bus.

Japan officials moved swiftly to play down Zico's comments,
saying they did not think he understood the full context of
Sino-Japanese relations.

"I really don't think coach Zico understands how sensitive relations
between Japan and China are, you can't blame him for what he said,
but we are concerned about the safety of our team and fans,"
Fukushi said.
