■CPUの演算能力をフルに使いきるx264エンコードベンチマークです。
 発熱対策やCPUの実用的OCの限界値の測定などにもご利用ください。
 
■測定方法はDLリンクからアーカイブをDLして解凍した後
1:bench_script.batをダブルクリックすると
2:ベンチレポートファイル名を入力
3:エンターキーで実行
4:合計8ループ(1pass*4 2pass*4)完走して終了するまで放置

■お断り
画質厨や実用エンコ厨はスレチです。DTV板にお帰りください。
またベンチ測定中はCPUに余剰演算能力がほぼ無くなるHTTは役に立ちません。
1passの測定結果は画像のスキャンだけですので勘違いしないように。

■ベンチ測定後の平均スコアの求め方
ベンチ終了後にベンチ結果ファイルが出力されるの(ファイル名720p_results-XXX.rtf)
ベンチ結果ファイルのResults for x264.exe r1342以降に記されているfpsをすべて足して8で割るだけでおk。

使われてる一番有名奴だね。

ちなみに>>5の測定時のCPU温度は61度でした。
同じPCで定格クロック・電圧動作時の
測定だと平均43.42fps CPU温度59度だった

なぜか素直に起動してくれなかったんで、バッチの頭にgoto startを追加して起動。
25%ベースクロック上げて、電圧は若干下げ気味に設定しています。
メモリは533MHzに下げ設定とOC分で定格の666MHz動作のつもりが、
勝手にレイテンシだけ下がってます。元は9-9-9-27-1Tだった気がする。
マウスは別に大丈夫だった。
温度は同じくらいの時間prime回すと51度ほどなんで、こっちが5度低いかな。

意外に良かったな〜というのが正直な感想。
最初のエラー処理スキップがマズイようならまたやり直します。

エラーを吐くのはAvisynthのチェックだけなので特に問題はないかと
Avisynthのバージョンが違うとかだったら若干スコア変わるのかもしれないね
今のところ報告の有無が最優先事項なのでとりあえず感謝。
メモリレイテンシとかはシステム情報はTempフォルダ内のCPUZから
写し取ってるだけだと思うので気にしない。CPUZのバージョンも古いし

ベンチのチェック処理はProgramFiles\Avisynth2.5\というフォルダがあるかどうかのチェックみたいです。

かなり読みにくいですが 第一回集計結果のグラフです

グラフの高さ方向はエンコFPSで高ければ高いほど処理能力に優れ
奥行き方向はクロック表示で手前側がクロックが低く奥側が高くなっています。
(各CPUの動作クロックは100MHz単位で四捨五入しています。)

スコアの理想の形としては棒グラフが手前で高くなるのが理想です。
GulftownESがクロックおよびfpsの最高値を記録しましたが
i5 750が思いの外低クロックの割りに高い処理能力を発揮しているようです。
又、E3200&E8500とi3 530&540の新旧対決ではおよそ同等のfpsの処理に対して
動作クロックの違いをみることでi3系の処理能力の向上を伺えます。

2.7GHz-3.5GHzの間にてミドルアッパーCPUの混戦となってきました。
i7 920が余裕のクロック/fpsを提示してる傍らで
i7 750が955BEにクロックをあわせて7fpsほど高い処理を見せ、
涅槃系の能力の高さが見て取れました。この価格層のCPUは
i3/AthU層とは対照的に値段と処理能力が比例した形を明確にしてますね。

今後はPhenom II X6の登場でどの程度アドバンテージを出せるのかが焦点になりそうですが
価格設定次第ではこのベンチスレでのi3/AthUの価格/スコアの逆転現象が
PhenomU/i5 i7のミドルアッパー層へと広がるのかもしれません。

と勝手に妄想コメ。

そのグラフ方法だと視覚的にCPU毎にクロックとfpsをソートした閲覧が難しいかと思います。
3Dグラフがダメでしたら2Dグラフをレイヤードしてクロックあたりの処理能力の表を考えて見ます。

いつも仮想OSの為、HTを無効にしていたので、有効にして再測定。
1pass目がCPUを全然使ってくれない上に、6coreしか負荷がかからない。
2pass目は全コアで90%以上使用。
ちなみにi7-980X定格と同じ設定で測定したところ、平均65.05fpsだった。

それより1Ghz下でゆうゆうと回ってる4コアに劣ってますな。

いくらクロック勝負に出て1パス目で稼いでも2パス目でコア数の差は埋められない。
埋めても割に合わないって結果じゃん。

これが低かったらいくらOCしても効率の悪いエンコ性能しか出ないって事だろ
高ければ高いほどDCして静音構成やOCして短時間エンコマシンやマシンの

GulftownのCPU*2でその処理時間ならクロックどんだけ下げてんだって話になるな。
論理コアつうか合計24スレッドだとしたらx264の方が対応できてないから負荷率も上がらないだけだろう。
もしCPUが1基だけならクロックは3.5GHz程度と予想。

相乗平均とか調和平均は、ツールに組み込まないと計算面倒だし
馴染みがない人の方が多いから、誤解とか勘違いを作りそう

個人的には、1passと2passを一緒にして平均出すのが微妙かも・・・
値の小さい2pass目の数値が伸びても、全体値の変化が小さいから、
"X4もX6も大した差がねーじゃん"的な感じに見えるんだよな

このベンチの1passの時間はマルチpass専用の解析だから通常のcrfなどの1passとは違う

このベンチは2pass以外にデフォのcrf23も加えて欲しかったね
容量制限やビットレート制限のある動画作るのでもなければ
マルチpass使わず普通はcrf使うから

6コアでやる場合はそれに対応したプラグインやらを用意する必要がある
2.5.xが確かに安定版ではあるのだけど、2.5.8のMTにも大きな問題がありCPUをうまく使いきれないのが事実
そもそも AVIsynth自体がMTに対応しててもプラグインがとか細かいこといってたらきりが無いし
あと、AVIsynthのMTに対するアプローチも複数のrevがあって、AMDの6コアが伸びが悪いのと、いいものもある

AVIsynthやx264は自分で自分の環境にあうようにカスタマイズするもんだから、
結果としてここでやってるベンチマークをどこまで信じるかは、そのベンチマークの方法を熟読して置いたほうがいい
