新年おめでとうす。

さて海の向こうわ、まだ2008年すけどCell/B.EとXenonの開発に関する暴露本が出版された
らしいす。

XenonのCPUコアがVMX128の拡張部分を除いて、CELL PPUと全く同じモノなのわ周知の事実
すけど、「CELL/B.E.の設計をMicrosoftにリークしてた」とか、「Sonyや東芝にわ秘密にしてた」
というのわ、中々エグい話す。
天罰覿面と言うべきなのか、IBMの次期組込コアとなる筈だったPPEわPS3とXbox360での派手な
デビューにもかかわらず、SPEの足を引っ張っているという悪評からか、その後の採用例を聞いた
ことわ無いす。
