Many Counter-Strike-Source players in Japan are having trouble not being able to play online due to the reason that they could not connect to the VAC servers. They all get the error message, " Secure Connection Failed, A connection to the Steam VAC servers could not be made. For troubleshooting network issues, please click the link below." I am one of those people. I was able to play online and never had such problem, till 3 days ago, suddenly my CSS keeps getting this VAC server error. I did check the Steam support pages. (ttp://support.steampowered.com/cgi-bin/steampowered.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=374 No, I do not have any P2P applications running. I do n't have a firewall or an anti-virus software running. It's very unlikely that my PC has viruses, malwares and such, becuase I installed an updated security software, and checked my hard disk and it found no faults. (I usually don't have a security software installed, so it's not one that's causing the problem. I installed it just for the purpose of dealing with this matter.) I did check the stability and reliability of my Internet connection with methods you've shown on the page specified above. As far as I know, all the people having this problem are using an ISP called "DION" in Japan. Some of the people asked DION, whether or not if DION had made modifications with their services, but the reply was that DION has done nothing, at least anything that would effect online gaming. So I could only ask Valve to help us with this matter. Can you people please look into this problem and figure out why people using DION are not able to make connections with the VAC servers? And if there's anything we could do to figure out or fix the problem, please tell us. Thank you.

When I start up steam, under settings->internet, it says "Steam is not currently connect to the authentication server."
I can't seem to play any steam app games in last few days, and it's been reported by many Japanese users. This is very frustrating as it only applys to particular ISPs including mine.
Here is my IP address: ###.###.###.###
Please look at this issue ASAP!!
Thanks,
