Happy Birthday, Aquarius! You make a tireless fundraiser and an effective motivator
in politics or community affairs. You may fare better in public arenas than in small
intimate ones. No matter how brilliantly you interact with the public or how impressive
your accomplishments, you always require plenty of study and practice.
Even though you make things appear spontaneous and casual, nearly everything you
say and do has been choreographed. You don’t believe in ‘accidents’. You need to
feel prepared and in control. You also feel you owe yourself and others the very best.
Self-critical, you never require outside monitoring. Your hard-hitting, acerbic
commentaries stun some, but entertain others. Because you pull no punches when
asked for your honest opinion, you may face retaliatory action from some.
Bear in mind that you don’t just get to dish it out; you also get to take it.
Because you feel duty bound to unseat hypocrisy and resuscitate what you
view as truth, fear of personal attacks probably won’t soften your approach.
You’re on a mission, baby. Your ability to call a spade a spade is pretty
tough to beat, and your words reach out and resonate with many levels of
society. It’s important to continue speaking the truth - but in ways that others
are willing to listen to. Although you have many friends and admirers, your work
and strong beliefs may be too overwhelming or eccentric for some people to cope
with on a continuous basis. Long-term relationships may be difficult to sustain.
It’s important to carefully build a meaningful connection with something worth fighting for.
You need to believe in something greater than yourself - or you feel empty and disillusioned.
No matter how many friends and lovers you accumulate during the course of your life,
you will never accept an indentured or inferior role. You find it impossible to spend any
amount of time with shortsighted control mongers. You inevitably push the envelope and
take things to extremes. You’re passionate, appealing and mysterious - and people want to
know MORE. You arouse curiosity because most people don’t comprehend much about you.
Periodically, life offers you safe average circumstances. Although you may tolerate an alleged
free ride for a while, you eventually lose interest. Driven to prick your finger and draw blood,
you’re not overly concerned with moderation or safety. Outsiders tend to project their
personal fantasies onto you. Some idolize and imitate you - even though you don’t ask
for this kind of worship. Sex, power, transformation, and death fascinate you.
Avoid drugs and alcohol because you may have addictive tendencies. Be cautious about
peripheral circulation - particularly in your lower legs. One of the things that makes
you so special is your depth of understanding. Since you’re not interested in leading
an overprotected sterile existence, you tend to bump your head (quite often, at times)
on the rocky road of life.
Each bump, however, becomes a reality check and source of wisdom and inspiration.
You’re compelled to find the lesson in each mishap, and may refer to your painful
experiences as “challenges.” At times, you give in to self-pity, but tend to snap
out of it rather quickly. Even pity parties are learning tools for you. You have a gift
for connecting with people that may, on the outside, seem very different from you.
You connect on a healing soul level that knows no class, age or cultural boundaries.
You may surprise many of your friends with eccentric, unexpected career and
personal choices. You weren’t born to follow, dear Aquarius; you were born to
experience a wide-spectrum life and teach what you’ve learned. Eventually, you’ll
explore a career in healing, teaching, or publishing in order to get your message out
and help the most people. A perpetual student, you never stop learning or being curious.
Your ongoing quest for knowledge may explain why you appear younger than many of
your peers. Basic matters bore you - things like routine housekeeping, grocery shopping,
nine to five job scenes, and even traditional relationships. You’re not comfortable
being tightly bound to tradition. You need lots of room and flexibility to change your
mind and scramble off at will in a brand new direction. You may complain that your
personal life is less than satisfactory, yet continue to select partners that ask for
more and give less. (Could it be that you really don’t want to surrender to an ongoing
long-term connection?) Your friends are constantly amazed by your remarkable resilience.
No matter how many times you get knocked down, you manage to pop up again
with fresh hope in your heart. Is it any wonder that you’re an inspiration to those
who know and love you? Because your rebellious side sometimes refuses to
behave and can express itself at inconvenient moments, you may find yourself
apologizing to friends, family, or even a judge. You really cannot be tamed - nor do
you want to be. Anyone who’s confused enough to think that you can be
permanently domesticated is delusional. Since you may experience depression,
you’re advised to seek professional help instead of self-medicating with alcohol
or other drugs. Because your thought process is so unique and your gifts far
reaching, your mind is your most precious asset. Your greatest source of power is
within YOU - not in anyone or anything else. Because you are so curious and
eager to get results, you may be less aware of your own unique qualities than
you are of others. Like a racehorse straining to get out of the starting gate,
you have a burning desire to reach a destination ahead of everyone else.
What you’ll do when you finally arrive is anyone’s guess - but your need to be
first makes your engine run hot and fast. This sets you up for anxiety, tension
headaches, heart palpitations and even depression. You cannot stand feeling
trapped, controlled or limited. In fact, you’d rather die than be held hostage.
The freedom to express yourself and move about without any form of restraint
makes life worth living. Some may label you ‘bull-headed’ and relentless in
your pursuit of a desired goal.
If others try to dissuade you from moving forward with something, you’re even
more determined to get what you want - and prove doubters wrong. Because
your peripheral circulation may require medical attention, don’t smoke - ever.
Moderate exercise in a non-polluted environment is good, especially if heat
and humidity are relatively low. Don’t restrict blood flow to your lower legs
(especially around your ankles) in order to prevent varicose veins. One of the
most challenging things for you is to RELAX and let go of people, thoughts and
things that trouble you. Daily meditation may help release negativity and
problems you have no control over. You have enormous dominion over yourself,
if you choose to exercise it - but have little or no sway over others. This can
create frustration because so many of you are able to intuitively read others’
thoughts. You can sense what is about to happen, yet have no power to stop it.
It angers you when you tell others of your concerns and are promptly dismissed.
As talented and amazing as you are, it’s important to always remain humble so
that you can be receptive to a steady stream of incoming new knowledge.
Even though you have many friends, you may always feel somewhat like an
outsider because your goals and motivation may set you apart from the herd.
You almost never pass up an exciting opportunity to go where angels fear to tread.
