Hey!!! All you NEETs, nerds, YouTube link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis,
Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers,
Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters,
Big-boobs fans, Weeaboo from around the world, learners of Japanese
who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, cunning
linguists, stupid fan girls of Johnny's Boys, Touhou pirates, and
that electrical super-gay who suffers from mental disease - This is your thread!
Let's hope Igirisu-jin and the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!

This is the place to have a blast!!!!!
Let's continue to support recovery efforts in Japan!!!!!

What a day...This is the first time I felt like this in a long time. My confidence was totally destroyed. I'm feeling incredibly helpless and stupid. The things that I can usually ignore or forget, they are really bothering me for some reason.
I kept trying to make myself believe I'm making progress and trying to look at only the bright side but I guess it was all pointless.
I'm so tired of sucking at everything I do. I suck at socializing, languages, school, relationship and everything. I've had enough of feeling like shit. I hate myself for being such a socially awkward dumb loser
>>47
What the hell is wrong with you man?

Taking a break between study now...:D

Alright, I crossed two items off the list in >>39. After I went without toilet paper for 2 days, I finally bought them last night.
Yayy I don't need to wipe off my butt with make up remover sheets and dry with an unclean towel anymore. That made my bathroom life much better!
Aaaand wait actually that's the only thing I got done with so far. I thought I did class registration but I didn't submit the form yet so the 3rd one still not completed. Phew
I hope you will end up forgetting submitting that stupid form

My mom often sends groceries to me.
I always say "I don't need, please don't send."
But she calls me to say "I already sent yesterday!" all the time.

OMG this thread is so over like the middle aged woman lol
So? What is your point?
83 is not a middle aged woman.
83 don't like middle age woman.
83 is a very manly.
83 gave up gracefully because of the manliness.
83 respects 83.
I dont really check this thread as I did before because of some radical people out here
It gives me creep sometimes
Whatever. Don't let it get to you.

Winter is nearly over. The feel of spring is in the air.
...I can feel cedar pollen in my nose.
I was so suprised to hear Obokata's copy and paste
Although, I really hope that she doesn't commit suicide eventhough
it was mostly her fault. The media was too quick to bite like Samura-Gouchi's case
They do not really look into things before they put them on the air
Obokata's news was pretty shocking for many Japanese and we do have no word at all
but if media did some inspection on the beforehand, and would not blame all the fault to
those people that they broadcasted, it would had been much more better than it was right now
Happy Friday everyone! It's such a nice day. My day is going pretty good so far. After school I chatted with friends from my school's Japanese club thing.
It's been a while since I went to their gathering last time but everyone was as nice as before so I'm glad I went.
So?
Nothing. That's that lol
How many native English speakers are in this thread?
>>95
It's already Saturday here in Japan. I'm glad you had a good time.

I think, everyone in this thread is not native English speaker. We are @ 英語勉強中.

Speaking of Obokata, we'll just have to see how things go.
Some people accuse her too much but it seems to me that she is just so ・・・you know what
I really think that she was just doing her job and got into something too serious
The copy & paste was just so unbelievable but it also tells us that
maybe she was just really so innocent like a child
by the way, I really hope that she doesn't commit suicide eventhough
it was mostly her fault. The media was too quick to bite like Samura-Gouchi's case
exactly!
All she got to do is just to prove it or she'll have no future as a scientist
That is for sure. She'll probably have difficulty getting married as well and
that is really bad. As a woman, I want to believe her

Judging from her simple way of copy and paste, I assume she cannot write English at all, right?
She is a shame of japan for sure

She needs to apologize and explain all of this shit and shave her head too

I am so lucky enough to have not enough talent but I feel
so sorry for those who do have a talent

I have to agree that she doesn't seem to deserve what she deserved
The position, payment, and all that

There seem to be many scientists who do not have a chance to work
in the environment where he/she deserves. It is very depressing to hear that
Brr it's so cold in my room. I left the window open for 3 days and when I came back home this morning, the CDs on the window sill got wet from rain. They are probably no use anymore..
I think they are okay
Why did you leave window open as long as 3days? wasn't robbed?
>>117
Because if I leave the window shut for days, my apartment gets so humid and hot and starts to smell...It needs to keep ventilated. And since I live on the 3rd floor, there's no need to worry about getting broken in..
Relaxing at a cafe. I have something important to do, but I keep procrastinating like I don't know about it. I'll buy a book on Kindle that I wanted to read now. I put aside an essay draft due tomorrow and enjoy reading.

I'm a fickle person, my lady.
I read that the most stinky food in the world is some kind of canned fish made in
Northern Europe. Supposedly, the smell is so exceptionally intense that in some of the countries it's against the law to open the can inside a building.
While reading this, I couldn't help asking myself this ultimate question;which smell would be more deadly, the world's smelliest canned fish with Guinness record for it or my pissy pussy during period that's not washed for days?
I know. I cannot stand the smell of myself during period
That napkin is a horror. I have heard that some use tampon but that is quite a challenge for me

Well, even young pretty ladies will grow old and ugly someday..unless they get something done with their faces.
No matter what sex, younger people are physically more attractive (with some exceptions.)

TV broadcast of national high school baseball tornament at Koshien Stadium.

You guys must go to Kyoto and must see many things as possible
Japanese traditional music, which unfortunately that we are not familiar with,
consists of two routes. One is from Korean culture and the other one is from
China and other Southeastern Asia
I saw these art objects (without vivid colors as they were before) but it was so incredible

Japan is manga culture but sometimes I believe manga is very traditional arts in Japan
Those things are mixture of the ancient Asia. So wonderful!

You seem to escape from reality.
The reality is that Japanese people cannot stop spreading Orure all over Japan.
Japanese people always want to make a fool of Korean, but
, if they recognize the severity of spreading Orure, they regognize that Korea is superior to Japanese.

Japanese are made with mostly strong curiosity
We adapt to almost everything and make all sort of things so convenient to our own life-style
A very long time ago, we have brought many splendid cultures from all over the world
and as we always do, we mixed them and made our own traditional style

In the Tokunaga Reign, people say that we have closed our country but
that is sort of not true. Kyushu still were having trade with other countries

I had this very very very crippled old lady tutor, who taught me
old Japanese literature but I think I was having very rare education than the others

虫 character is the abridged form of 蟲 character. And 蠱 character
means a meat on a dish producing many worms.

At past our fathers thought of a way to get the strongest poison. They
supposed many insects having poisons in a pot would eat each other;
and the last one standing would store all poisons they had. And they
called this poison as 蠱毒 (ko-doku).

I suppose 蠱毒 must be sprung out from temporary staffs in Japan.

Yukio Mishima was a genius but so weirdo
I think that he was just so serious and search the perfection way too much
His novels were romantic but his essays were very mean and very critical
If I were a man, I would probably become impotent

Some refered his mind as a statue of Greece for trying to be too perfect and musculine

Definitely. Love is something we need in our life...our life will be totally different when we have someone we love than when not.
But some people are obsessed with love and they have unrealistic expectations for romantic relationship. And they end up being hurt knowing there's no such thing as lasting love...
I'm no different. No matter how many times I cry and get heartbroken, thinking I'll never open up to anyone like I did to my ex, I repeat the same thing with someone else.
It seems like I won't learn at all ha but there's one thing I really learned and it helps me get over a break up:to accept the fact there's higher chance of having to say goodbye to a guy I'm in love with
eventually than of being able to stay with him for the rest of my life.

and all he thought about was how to raise children
Back then, many suffered from the poverty but he gave away
a sewing machine for a single mom who could not work, eventhough,
his family was suffering from poverty
My mom gave away her money for the charity to the poor kids around the world as well

That is a strong key for the healthy growing society and not taking away from children

It is the system for protecting the weak socially.

The power is hard thing to control. I think one has to be
really patient, clear, and calm and I found out some people
who are not used to those things, they tend to treat the power in the wrong way

The way too emotional and very narrow-minded

It works when you are not in the position of the power, but it does not work
when you have a power

Those are things that every people have to think about when getting the attention
to make it trustworthy

But I agree woman's worst enemy is woman. Look how harsh women are on other women's looks and abilities.
There used to be girls at school who only hung out with pretty girls who were high on popularity scale. They think they are better than everyone else, looking down on other girls.
Funny thing is they do the same thing within the group as well. so often one girl is left out of her group and starts being picked on etc

I also hated it when girls flattered other girls in front of guys while they talked bad about them behind their backs. That's so low. I'm trying not to become such a sneaky b* myself.
Those who have introverted personality tend to think things over and can't take them as they are.
So they often use that kind of words such as " have to", " has to" or whatever.
That means they expect others to follow their moral values but as there is a saying," so many men so many minds",it never happens.
As a result, they are apt to complain about the sutuation they face and get frustrated.

I'm sort of raised in a matrilineal family and used to see

When you are a matrilineal family, you really do not need to

in a normal life

I have gone out with girls who are trustworthy and I really take some time
to get close. I'd rather feel better being alone because once I get home,

Basically, almost everyone can become talkative when talking about themselves.
That is because what they are intersted in most is themselves.

bored with their conversation.

Spring break has just started. Grades for last semester will be available from tomorrow. I did better than the semester before. At least I didn't fail any classes this time I hope.
For a PE class I'm sure I got 4.0 cuz the teacher let us know beforehand. Next semester will be my last at this school so I'll enjoy every minute of my school life here.

No more procrastinating!
I was two weeks late paying for college tuition. I had some trouble with my bank account and couldn't pay but I didn't let the student office know about it.
Then they dropped me off the classes I was registered in so I had to register all the classes again.
That was a lot of work cause I can't register for classes online now, which means every time I want to register add or drop classes, I have to do all the paperwork going to a couple of different offices.
Right now my student account is on hold and some of the online services provided are limited. I need to get this hold taken off soon.

What is happening with STAP?
3 lawyers and it seems to be pretty huge!

At first, it started out with the critical errors with her reports
then our attention was whether the cell is ES or STAP
It will be so good to know the existance of STAP
That is it. Although, there is no press conference from a chief leader,
Obokata san yet and it's like 2 months since this started

The now is she is filing the a lawsuit with Riken
and we're like what the hell is going on?
I think she just need to say, " STAP do exists! "
and that's it
That wouldn't help without some real evidence to back it up now that her reliability as a scientist is down to the abyss
Riken's press conference is weird. However, at least, Obokata san needed to write a paper issue which has a proof value.
STAP may exist, but may be a problem in safety. I don't know. There is no reason Riken has to obscure the research results if STAP is valuable.

I don't get why she had to hire lawyer to lawsuit. The research fund is from Riken.
It seems pretty childish doesn't it?
Although, today I think things are getting way too excessive
People won't really forgive other's mistake
The apperance that she first came out on TV had
too much impact with this Japanese apron. It was totally like
a celebrity instead of a researcher and many people might have thought
that was pretty odd
You know, celebrities they hide from many paparazzi
and it must be a disaster. She is just a normal woman

it did not work and instead it had gone wrong

Nope somewhere else :)
Hmm I think the other way around!I'm glad I was born in this time period.
Today we have everything that they didn't have in the past. Fast and safe transportations, computers, cellphones, advanced medical technology, long life span, freedom to choose your life and all that.
I thank God that I wasn't born in the war times or thousands years ago when they didn't have freedom and might have been forced to live an undesired life!
And worst thing of all is if they'd get sick, even when not anything serious by our standards today, they could die so easily back then. That must have sucked!
>>465
Maybe that is true
I had read once that Germany did combined in one, but
many people wanted to go back to the East once again
It was because that they were so tired to choose things
Freedom is good thing but it is kind of exausting for the normal people

We have to choose school, career, partners, and so on
My parents had a life plan since they were born
There were something like "women should be" "men should be"
and they felt nothing more to that
So whenever I need an advice, they're like "why don't you choose?"
and I lose my word. I am so sure that many people are like that today
There are only few talented people and others are just so normal

I won't say bad but this is not that good either
At least, I can read books as much as I want to
That is the only thing I like about living
If my life was restricted to read books then it must had been so terrible
I saw this TV program sometime ago where a seller (I don't remember what he was selling)
was selling some pieces of merchandise to the customers just to see which one of the goods
they'd choose. The result of the experimentation was interesting. If the customers were
given only a few goods to choose, they almost immediately decided which one of them to buy,
but if they were given many goods to choose, they thought over for a while and ended up
buying nothing.

So, it's like, the more free you'll be, the harder time you'll have.

I mean, why Japanese apron anyways in the lab?
I've heard in 2ch, that she took a rubber off from the wrist of her apron
Is it true? People using Japanese Apron needs rubber so that it won't bother you
while you are working
Although, there are some Japanese Apron without rubber in the wrist
but it bothers you way too much

I was wondering why did no one really say maybe that is pretty weird
before somebody planned it?

The other day I might have been caught picking my nose by my boyfriend. I was watching TV in a living room with my back facing the bathroom when that happened.
He said he'd take a bath and went to the bathroom so I let my guard down assuming he won't be out of there for awhile.
At that moment I turned into a total Oyaji. I stuck my finger up my nostril and started "cleaning" my nose.
Not after too long, I heard the bathroom door slide open and him say something to me from behind. I was so surprised and quickly put my hand down but it was too late.
Since I was sitting with my back toward him, He didn't see me doing it from the right front. So I'm not 100% sure if he noticed what I was doing. I really hope he didn't. Period.

I found a journal of my boyfriend's at his apt. It was from 2008 and I knew he was preparing to get married around that time although he never mentioned that.
I know his ex's name so I was looking for her name through pages. And then there it is. It seems like they had dinner together with his family on Christmas. Nice.
There's also a note saying she injured her hand. Ah he must have been worried about her! So caring. After having done this morally questionable thing, I like him much more now.

the backers of hunting whales are not only netouyo, but the great part of Japanese!
this is the same as the supporters of the Emperor system, though I'm not one of those.

as far as I know, they wants the goverment to leave IWC.

we have still another way for whaling after leaving IWC, such Norway and Iceland.

I'm in my forties, and when I was an elementary school kid, they served
whale meat for school lunch. Back then, it was very common and popular food
for school lunch. I bet everybody in my generation feels nostalgic about
whale meat served for school lunch. It tastes really good. I don't think I have
eaten it ever since because my mom for some reason never used whale meat for dinner.
I don't feel any guilty about eating whale meat but I was shocked some
parts of Japan eat dolphines meat, which was featured in the movie "The cove."

The problem with banning hunting whale is that
a long time ago, we did not have enough food to feed everyone
all over Japan. Once we ban the whale hunt then if we ever encounter
with having no foods, we would have no technique to hunt whales again
So some will starve to death

I have never ate a whale in my whole life,
but my parents used to say they had them when they were young
and it wasn't good either

★ Political Jokes

☆ Driving through the countryside during an election campaign,
a politician suddenly announced to his aides that he was going
to throw a fifty-pound note out of the window and make someone
happy. “Why not throw fifty one-pound notes out of the window
and make fifty people happy?” suggested an aide. The driver
turned around in his seat and said, “Why not throw yourself out
of the window and make everybody happy?”

☆ While waiting for a discussion to start in the House of Lords, a

“Have you heard the joke about the Lord and the prostitute?”
The man turned to him crossly and said, “Be careful, young man.
I happen to be a member of the House of Lords. “Oh, don’t
worry,” said the journalist, “I’ll tell it very slowly.”

☆ A bus load of politicians were driving down a country road when
all of a sudden, the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree
in an old farmer's field. The old farmer, after seeing what happened,
went over to investigate. He then proceeded to dig a hole and bury
the politicians. A few days later, the local policeman came out, saw
the crashed bus, and asked the farmer where all the politicians had
gone. The old farmer said he had buried them. The policeman then
asked the old farmer, "Were they all dead?" The old farmer replied,
"Well, some of them said they weren't, but you know how politicians
lie."

Enlighs lanugage users like anti-whaling activists cannot use lanugage.
They are only used by language.

"words → words " is only a language game.
"words → logical thinking →words" is "using lanugage."

Many Foreigners cannot use language.
They don't reach Japanese people level.
They are not people who like peace.
They want to be racists, but, as they don't want to be criticized, they are criticizing Japanese through whaling.

Japanese make many translation sites from reddit. I often read it.
Some Japanese think there are a lot of anti-Japanese people and people who believe false Japanese history that China and Korea ant Ameraica made.
Nanking, 731, comfort women are all false and propaganda.
I think foreigners cannot tell fact from fiction.
623Jasmine:2014/04/08(火) 08:07:17.48 ID:1xm8GOFi!
I will try my best to learn only the truth from you.
I am making a youtube channel (JasmineTVChannel) to teach about America and English.
I have a twitter (Jasmine_TV) and you can all practice English with me privately there, if you want.

Does anyone have questions about America you want me to make a video about? Or, I can answer here.

Many Korean have certainly hated Japanese people on the grounds of fabricated history they have been making.
Aside from this, many Japanese blog sites that translate reddit boards about Japan, especially historical problems and
current topics like whaling problem or comfort women issue, show that there are a lot of anti-Japanese people in the world.
Of courese, many may be indifferent to them.

And joining in JET program would be
a career suicide if you ask me. Landing on a decent job fresh from college would
be far better. My question is how tatoo and same sex marriage/relationship is

MIT, Standford and Harvard, few students have tatoos.

America didn't help Asia in WW2, but Japan destroyed colonies of western countries in Asia.
Korea and Taiwan were not colonies. The situation was quite different in colonialism by the Western countries.
The bottom line is that the justice in WW2 belonged to Japan, not America.

Japanese people don't think Pearl harbor was evil.
We attacked at military places.
However, America attacked Japanese civilians by two atomick bombs and so many air raids.

Therefore, American people need defense mechanism to repress emotional conflicts.
The defense mechanisms are the below

American want to think Japan did the same mass slauhter, like Nanking, as two Atomic bombs and many air raids.
American want to think that two atomic bombs hastened the end of the war.

I don't have anything against the U.S. now.
However, if the U.S. is true ally, the U.S. should take sides with Japan suffering from false histories.

Just as someone in this thread points out, I'm leading a quite tough life.
I have no friends, no partners and I'm always all alone with nothing which cheers me up .
So I make a concept that suits only for me, that is, Life is just pain. Life is just embarrasment, Life is just solitude.
We see lots of successul examples through TV, internet, magazine, and so forth and decide it's important to be winner, to be a person with lots of money and friends , high status, a beautiful boy/girlfriend .
This idea , however, doesn't fit for everybody, because some people are obviously asked to do unplesant things
at their early ages and cannot express their own desires leading by far more difficult lives than others.
I think someone like me should always consider life to be shit and dont hope too much from this unfare world.

It is all my poison parent's fault.
I didn't need to drop out of an ex-imperial university.
My father said it was not Tokyo university and that it was worthless.
I resisted him, but I was reminded of his abuse. My mind got frozen.
I was physically storog, but mentally very weak.
I didn't know child psychology and brainwashing in a domestic at that time.
So, I dropped out of the university in desperation.
Then, all that was left is an large amount of pride.
My classmates all work in big company and ministries.
On the other hand, I live in 6 tatami room the toilet and the bath are in the same place.
I live with many cockroaches and flies. I have not took a trip for five years.
So, I will have been hating the world untill I get out of my current situation.

Wow, you're from ex-imperial university ! Great.
I guess your father dindnt acknowledge your university,so it's not Kyoto, Osaka university which is
high-ranked ones among ex-imperial universities.
The unhappiest point in your story is that no matter how hard you studied to get into the good university and
enroll there, it wouldn't mean a thing too much unless you graduate from there, I mean, you are nothing but
a person whose final educational background is graduation from high school.
One's life changes dramatically depending on what parents one has, and if this parents are shit, there is so high
possibility their child lead a unhappy life.
The most irritating thing for me is that Japan is so rich country with low-rate crime occurreance and
I guess about 80% people live happiliy or without big problem , underlining some unhappy people whose life is just fuck.
I agree. In Japan, once you make a mistake, it's gonna be harder and harder to get out of a bad situation.
Indeed, there are some places to help loosers like hello works, but they only introduce hard and low payed jobs, moreover you don't know when you lose them.
I think the government should guarantee their life by making more effective institutions.
Japanese government does nothing but stupid policy.
They are now discussing whether or not endorcing the immigration plan mainly from Chine and Korea
where lots of people have hatred toward Japan.
This policy sure will worsen Japanese security.
But LDP is much better than DPJ and this party is the party with best function.
I think Japan is doomed
I agree about Japanese govt is so dumb

You know what. I was working as a contract and there were these couple
ladies who just cannnot use PC. They have entered this company while they were
having bubble. They are working in the office but they cannot use PC
and they get very high payment and assured post
On the other hand, young and unstable workers are working in
very low wages. No matter how he/she do have skills, it doesn't matter
It is totally like Communist! So if you work or not work, it really do not matter

I mean, before govt ask too much to the young, we are totally like DO SOMETHING!

Many of already seen a lot of employees come to work doing NOTHING
Even boss asked them to do the work, they can't even use PC so who
does their jobs? Young people do so

Before asking young people too much, Cut Them Off, idiot!
I think Japan is going to fail because not many young people
have no motivation anymore like our ancestors once did few decades ago.

We have very high suicide rate of the young people and it is still going upwards
It is funny that old people do not want to pass away so quickly and
they are very healthy and living in longevity

Those who mainly decided spoiled brat policy which is called YUTORI policy is basically 40 - 60 years now.
They were born after the war and always saw the economic growth just following seniors who survived war and
was so tough man / so deciplined woman who suffered porvety.
Theri child , however. lacks ability , is arrogant and when this generation took over the main position of politics, businesses, etc. Japanese economy has collapse and they just taking money away from us young people
by means of pension system.
How cruel !! The cancer of this today's Japanese decline is mainly them.
yeah, like who does not know about it when living in Japan

The most young workers are very high in skills but working in
the very cruel environment carrying these rediculously silly generation ahead of us

Some of the old people got money but they don't quite spend them
and very silly govt is asking young generation to pay the price for everything

I know. Do you know how it is so rediculous to have immigration
started? Most people oppose to it but govt is just rushing with no reason
Who knows? We always have no clue about what they are doing

We do not have enough money to look over the old people but some have to
even sacrifice his/her job, not many people are wealthy enough to hire them
Also govt is taking away the jobs from domestic people, making wages so low
We are asking for euthanasia but govt won't allow them
but many old people are becoming dementia and it is nothing but a disaster
for the both, individual and the family

There are many family murder and suicide going on regarding about dementia

Do you remember when The Democratic Party of Japan gave out
money for the family who have children? At that time,
there were many votes by young generation, I guess

This time, LDP made housewives work and banned the deduction
so I consider that there are tremendous attention to Abe Administration
and politics
>>743
yeah, we all people whether young or old , woman or man should pay heed to it.
(there are lots of young people who even doesnt know about the plan banning deduction of wives. )

And yet, I have no choice but to say it's a moron to puch women to work without concrete plan to raise
the rate of birth.
At this rate more and more people are getting old and fewer and fewer babies are born.
I have rather diffensive opinion about politics and diplomacy and supported Abe administration, but these days,
I cannot support it ( dont deny strongly) and have a doubt.

it is natural to switch administration in the last several years because of the failure of LDP
and big failure of DPL
And LDP will last more then 7 years I guess.
but it's absurd to give DPL about 350 seats even though LDP had done unexcusable things.
DPL at that time made a manufest that obviously couldn't be done ( I was high schooler but I could tell it was
impossible) and it's reaction to the disaster of 3.11 was terrible, high yen of 75 and low stock price of
about 8000 was horrible and make Japan harder country to live.
At that time when lots of people voted for LDP , Japanese people was so so so so absurd just taking
the news of media for granted.

I see. I don't know much about sexually transmitted deseases, but
it can take some days until you feel pain or abnormality in your penis,
so you have to keep tabs on your condition.

And remeber, you don't feel any pain even if you are infected with HIV
virus, the cause of AIDS. I understand you wanted to insert your penic without a condom
but I strongly recommend you use it next time you screw a girl.
In my opininon, how much you pay doen't guarantee that you won't get infected with sexually
transmitted deseases.

In half a year or so, Dr. Obokata has to say good by to the title of "Dr."
I wouldn't call her Dr., now that I know how she got PhD.

I follow many Japanese scientists on Twitter and that helps me understand
how what Obokata did is abnormal, unbelievable and unforgivable in science community.
If I didn't read their tweets, I would have reacted the same way as many men here in Japan,
thinking that she's innocent and what she did is trivial things.
I also read a blog where they accuse Obokata and other Waseda PhDs of coping
and paste in thier PhD thesis. The latest news for the administrator of the blog
is Vacanti stole some images for his paper published in 2001. This could be a huge blow
that will make him quit Harvard.

Some people suspect Obokata is a Psychopath. She fits the description of
the mental desease perfectly. But for accurate diagnosis, a doctor
has to interview her face to face, which wouldn't happen, I guess unless
her family sends her to a clinic.

you're my colleage !
I've experienced a lunch time in the restroom too , it smelling so disgusting because of the poop
the fat guy in the next room produced from his anal.
Maybe it might be geri poop. It was trauma for me.
I ate geri-smelled rice ball and geri-smelled green tea.
Since then , I stopped benjo-meshi and eat in the student cafeteria.
Fortunaly there are 5 cafeterias in my university and there are lots of people who eat lunch alone
so I'm fine !!
Anyway I'll endure this hard training and get out of here with my dignity and stinked poop memory !!
Thank you for your encouragement .

I definitely think that it wasn't only Dr Obokata's fault
but her press conference was a bit too emotional rather than convencing
I do believe that maybe STAP exists and that they need to research once again
but I doubt her being a scientist. She told to the press that she was too amateur
or not well educated, something like that, but it was not a good thing to say

She only had to explain what might really had gone wrong
Although, people are just so silly
There are still a log of people saying that "STAP cell do not exist"
and that is also not that smart thing to say
Well, they think that refusing STAP cell is smart thing to do and
accusing those who consider about the STAP cell

We do not know where the evidence are from the press conference,
eventhough she explained that she saw them 200 times without notes
but that does not fully guarantee that there is no existance of STAP cell
There are some saying, "give her a chance to prove it" but
these silly refusers are pulling everything

It is so good to have STAP cell to cure many diseases and also
making clone in the time of food crisis, but they really do not
care about those things but really enjoy booing her and Riken
without thinking much
Even though there is a STEP, We Mongolian will make many more gels.
It's a first STEP to let people be westernizing for the field of desert to forest.
STAP theory is useful to establish prolific land. Otherwise, ruthless land that people don't want.

Scientifically, STAP cell exist only in Obokata's (and a few people around her) imagination.
The idea of how it's made is fabulous but without scientific evidence,
it's exisitance is the same as kappa, Tsuchinoko, Snow Man.
My penis was cut by my wife,so I hope that STAP cells exists.....
What if STAP do exist?
You guys just don't want to see that STAP exists
It would be wonderful and benefitial to human beings if STAP cells existed.
But scientists around the world quit trying to make it by following
the protocol on the paper written by Obokata, because they think
it's waste of time, meaning they don't believe STAP cell exist.
In the science community, STAP cells is pipedream now.
There seems to be one or two fools in this thread.
Of couse, as one Japanese, I want STAP cell to do exist because, if so , it's an honor for all Japanese.
But, there are quite a few things that make Obokata's remark so doubtful.
Obokata said in press conference that she'd completed STAP cells about 200 times,
but they say it can't be done 200 times in such a short time and lots of capable scientists in NATURE and Riken
cannot produce STAP cell yet.
You may surely know Obokata said it was so so easy to make STAP cell , then why can nobody exept Obokata produce STAP cells yet?
And she'd made quite immature thesis that even students like me in the university never do.
As a member of Riken who lead scientific achievement in Japan, Obokata isn't qualified .

Well what I want to do say is that we cannot say with 100% possibility that STAP cell exists.
But Otokata deserves some kind of punishment and critisism.

if he aplogize in press conference and what he've done is over ?

She seems to be a very smart person so I think her child is also so sweet as well
By the way, in Japan, it is very hard to get married after women become 33yrs old
She is like 30yrs old so maybe it was good for her, in a long term
I don't think career is exactly everything. She can speak English and
seems very sociable so she can marry with someone nice and understanding
At the same time, she can study other subjects and start working to make another career
She is still very young

Some people suspect she's a psycopath. Even if that's not the case, she
is a person who lies without hesitation for her own benefits.
Maybe she doesn't even realize when she lies, and that's why she looks
confident when she tells lies.
I think marrying with her is too risky. If you get married with a woman like her,
you will end up living a disastrous life.

Abe Administration called mothers to work but it is such a big deal
First of all, we have got not much kindergarden
Also the juvinile crime rates are gradually getting high and
mothers cannot leave their children alone, like they did few decades ago
When we were young, we played like everywhere because it was safe outside
but today mothers do have to be with kids all the time and
it is very stressful
Also many workers leave to the cities and
no one really stay in the rural areas. We used to raise kids, living with
grandparents, parents, and children all together in a house
but now we are totally different

Once we leave a working place, it is hard to get hired again with a good environment
So many double income family, they are fortunate ones who did not have to leave
their own hometown and live with either of their parents together, so
that grandparents look after kids
It is certainly getting more difficult to raise children in Japan.

No one really wants to live with their husband's parents actually
but there is no such Masuo-san out there, who lives with wife's parents

In the anime, Masuo-san was a great guy but that seems not the reality
but a woman's dream

Although, I grew up in a family with bunch of Masuo-san in the past
Yeah, it's well possible Abe's plan makes the problem of aged society and low-rate birth even more serious.
In 50 years Japan will weaken dramatically , so young people like me is so worried about today's situation.
There were many guys in the past who were not a first child
Usually, family keeps the first two boys but they gave away boys to other family without hesitation like today
when they got married
My great grandfather was 5th son, and before that was 4th son
We only had girls so they asked for a guy to get married and have our names,
instead of their last name

Now there are only few kids so there is no Masuo-san left
This is why many women have hard time getting married with a guy

I know. We used to be like that
Nowadays, before couples get married, a guys mom tell him,
" don't change your last name! " eventhough he is a second child

Our main family is now 34th and like husband's like 3th or 4th
Is there any worth of keeping their last name?
Many foreigners just don't know that Japan is a woman dominated society
Eventhough, her husband looks strong, actually mom is really strong
Mostly women are so quiet but when it comes to family matter, they are strong and so rigid

Today, like there are only child or family with siblings only so
most women have hard time finding the right one, you know

It's like meeting someone who you can really talk with without thinking much
about how he/she thinks about you

I got nice friends but I have this deep depression that makes me
hard to speak or communicate with others while having very hard time
I really think that my friends really don't mind about that but I do,
and I really need complete silence or calmness so I don't make many contact

What is proper English?
892KG2CH:2014/04/13(日) 23:54:19.35 ID:ecLnSTPS!
Can a non-Japanese speak proper Japanese? No.
Can a non-English speak proper English? No.
Besides "proper" ahould be a measurable concept.
What is the "limits of proper"?
You need to define it.

Actually, I returned back to the UK on July 3rd, though I've forgotten where
my story ended last time. Think my last post was from Misen itself.
After that, I travelled from Hiroshima to Sapporo by train (almost a big
mistake). Then Sapporo to Tokyo again. My penfriend's family then suggested
we visit to a ryokan at Yamanakako, and to explore the surrounding area, which
was incredibly nice of them. After returning to Tokyo, someone else wanted to
show me around Kamakura, so that's how I spent my final day.

Though I did visit Fujisan, we didn't visit Aokigahara. We went to Stage 5
of the mountain, and surrounding areas such as Ōwakudani, Narusawa Ice Cave,
and a natural spring whose name I've forgotten...

As for Iga, I really want to visit next time. When I was in Kyoto, wandering
around Nijō-jō, some elementary schoolchildren asked me several questions, and
wanted a photo. Afterwards, they and their teacher gave me a leaflet about Iga.
As for Koyasan, I hadn't considered it. But since it's now a recommendation, I'll
have a visit, thanks!

Igirisu-san why do you go to such places when you could go to Okinawa.
It sounds so depressing.
My father comes from Okinawa.
He and his brother think Japan was evil in WW2.
They have leftism.
When I go to Okinawa, I always hate them.
They cannot tell fact from fiction.
I don't like Okinawa but like the nature and the foods.

Then, when I lived in Yamanashi, I often went to Aokigahara.
I didn't think it is a special place.
I, certainly, saw many signs saying "Please remember your precious persons and take care of your family. "
Whenever I saw them, I laughed.
If family is good, people (not all) won't commit suicide.
The signs only drive them to despair more and more.
"I don't have a good family. Now I have nothing to regret in the world. Good-bye."

Yeah!Me, too!
I often buy "一番採りもずく". It's about 300 yen.
I think it is very reasonable and easily available.
I can buy it at any supermarkets.
On the other hand, "Mozuku su(もずく酢)" packed for a set of three is very expensive.
One ”一番絞りもずく" can make a lot of homemade "Mozuku su".
However, I don't make so and I always make it tenpura. It is very delicious.

I don't see Gurukun in Kanto. I sometimes eat it at Okinawan reataurant.
People often say fish of southern seas are not delicious, but the fish in Okinawa is delicious, too.

Ahh yes, the Daibutsu. That was one of the last places we went, and he

we would have been able to climb in. It was an interesting place!

So much for the food conversation.
I can't understand it at all even though I'm Japanese.
It might be quite natural to go to lots of places if I had friends or girlfriend, but I don't have either.
So, I have few experience from the trip. I just envy you.
I'd got a driver license two years ago, but I don't have car, so when I go back to my old house ,
I always borrow the car from mon and go to lots of places, but my experience is poor yet.
I went to Nikko, Tokyo-sky-tree, Nagano prefecture, Ushiku- Daibutu ( it was so big and has beautiful nature, I recommend it)

but my trip is always with nobody............
I guess my college life will end without shining memory.

You'll probably find that your case isn't unique. There will be many
people with few or no friends, wanting to find people to talk to and

It's not unnatural to travel without a companion.
Having other people around can really restrict you when you travel.
Certain things are more fun with others, but you can be more adventurous by yourself.
Rather than travel WITH strangers, travel by yourself and meet strangers.
If you stay at youth hostels you can often meet people to hang out with, but then
you can still avoid them when you prefer to do things alone.

If I remember correctly, there's already an app or online service by which

hmm, hostels !! that's so refreshing for me. Interesting !!

1) History is a filed of science. Fact is fact. False is false.
2) If you are told that you are wrong about something, you must put them off until the truth is made clear.
3) If a history is wrong, the history should be rewritten . "Historical revisionism" is not by nature evil.

Who doesn't know such a simple thing?
Traveling with a stranger seems so stressful rather than fun

I had gone to trip with many friends when I was back in my college
but we had some split as well. That was fun but spending time with
certain people just give too much stress to each other

It is certainly so good to find the right one though
Someone with the same interest and personality match
For example, we had gone to skiing and this person had his own log house nearby
We were just so happy to ski but someone this really irritating girl
started to annoy me and my friend, not intentionally though

She said that only few can go to skiing and she will be in charge or something
and we should stay in a log house and we're totally like "what?"
If we knew that before than it would be so much better to go to part-time job after college
Then she started to annoy us again when we had gone to different trip together
She is totally becoming a bitch, a control freak

My friend and I were interested in seeing historical museums and
explore around the city during day but she started to say that those are
waste of time or something and we said, so why don't we just split?
(There were like 9 people in a group)
Then she started to tell us that we don't have cooperation or something
and we were totally so upset about the ski incident but we just followed them
because she was way too pushy

Although, we had this split, it is really nice memory though
When my friend and I get together, we keep on chatting about those incidents
on and on. Like how we felt at that time. Wasn't fair at all and
how annoying and bitchy it was

I think there is someone who suits you the best without too much stress
I mean, it is nice to be around with others for just a day or few hours
but there aren't a lot of people who suits you best to spend few days

Even your siblings annoy you sometimes and it is very good to be
around with your best friend rather than spending time with your family

The good thing about family is that eventhough we fight so much, we get together fine

It sounds a little like she was holding you hostage! You're right though.
It can be hit or miss when it comes to strangers. In both Osaka and Kyoto,
it was difficult to get along with the people I met there. Kyotochan (or
maybe Kyoto Nee-san) didn't like anyone or anything. Americans, British,
Germans, Italians, French, Russians, Chinese, Koreans. She didn't like
people from Kyoto, and didn't like people who can breathe fire. She didn't

I don't like him. He is way too annoying
I mean 80s women idols
My uncle made idole songs for them sometime at that time.
However, he doesn't make songs anymore now.
idole → idol
I like his songs, but no one know the songs.
I searched them on Youtube but nothing.

There is this news going on about Japan having Casino
I really think it is good thing because people spend money here
but I really hope they go to the major cities instead of rural areas
We want things peace and quiet here
Look at the major cities, for example Tokyo
They got way too many people over there
When I had to take a train, I was so suprised to see
a lot of people riding a train every single time

Foreigners know Korean residents in Japan runs pachinko stores, don't they?
Thas is a money gathering system from Japanese people.
I don't like foreigners think pacinko is a Japan's culture.

We all know Pachinko is Koreans but it used to help
employment for the people who has lost their job after WWII

Also my ex bf was addicted to Pachinko and those people are just so crazy
but they do exist

I have not noticed that for such a long time
I had no clue what he was really doing because I had no relative
who were addicted with gambling and he was still young and
I used to think Pachinko is not for young people who doesn't earn much money
It was lucky for me to get seperated with that dumb guy forever
I will never trust a gambler in my life. Like NEVER!
Although, I don't oppose because I don't care as long as they
don't mess with my life and I don't get involved with addicted people
>>973
You're absolutely right.

I certainly didn't care about pachinko, but I noticed that pachinko money made Japan worse.
Mr.Hatoyama said Japan is not only for Japanese people.
I understand it very much now.

That speech was not quite understandable to many people
I had been to Gym at that moment, watching news on a tv,
and there were a lot of people and a stir ran everywhere

I do not know right or wrong about existance of Pachinko though
It is just like knowing there are people like my ex, who are addicted
Talk about my ex. It was just like the encounter with an alien
He is Japanese but I did not really had a chance to see a gambler,
or addicted people for over 20yrs
I really did not know what was really going on and after we'd seperated,
I knew about the addiction. It kind of made me realize that
there are whole a lot of different people on a planet
i think you still love him.
He was nice though. We get along well. It is just like
if he hadn't had that bad habit. Poor thing

I hate him lying about the usage of money, not working hard for both of us,
you know, so many quarrels over those things made me feel so tired in the end

On the other hand, I have learned, there is nothing that people can do about it
It's like sinking with this person even if one's trying so hard
It is not helping anyone no good
I am so glad that I made a right choice, took me sometimes to realize though
People learn and it is totally a blessing

The young people do not know the limit and I used to believe that
when I was young. I did my best to make it right but I only saw failure

Although, I really appreciate him sometimes, other than that, he wasn't that bad
but I will never go out with a gambler. Like never!
you are just trying to make yourself believe that you hate him.
but you still love him.
Hate and love is a mixture
If you're not interested in this person, you really don't
hate or love him/her.

It is the past and the past is only the past
I always believe that broken thing will never become fixed again
Sad thing but so true. Life goes on

Now I am old, sometimes I remember what happened in the past
and it kind of make me cry a little. Maybe few drops of tears
I think we were so young
what i want to say is you don't need to hate him any longer.
grudging against him will get you nowhere, only to depress you.
do you realize the fact that you caught a man who's good for nothing
because of your character being cheap ?
You probably know the expression of "birds of a feather flock together" which is expressed
"類は友を呼ぶ” in Japanese.
All you say is discontent about your ex ,
but what you need to do the most is reflecting on your own action.
are you trying to live alone from now on with no child ?
I think even though there are lots of people's way of life these days, it would be so so miserable.
I agree.
Those who degrade their ex doesn't even realize they degrade themselves, too.
