Hey!!! All you NEETs, nerds, YouTube link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis, Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers, Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters, Big-boobs fans, Weeaboo from around the world, learners of Japanese who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, cunning linguists, stupid fan girls of Johnny's Boys, Touhou pirates, and that electrical super-gay who suffers from mental disease - This is your thread! Let's hope Igirisu-jin and the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!
This is the place to have a blast!!!!! Let's continue to support recovery efforts in Japan!!!!!
"I knew something was wrong when a little, pretty white girl ran into a black man's arms."
I'm not the person スウェーデン人 asked a question at the end of the previous thread, and I'm not sure I understand the question completely but let me answer.
It seems that the same ID is allocated to a person only one day. another day, different ID is allocated, it seems. Not sure allocate is an appropriate word or not, though. I mean, your ID is the same today no matter how many posts you posted but the next day, the ID is changed to a different one. It seems they are all random IDs and you can't distingusih where the post is from. It's just that a post with an ID means it's posted from overseas, it seems. If someone claim they post from Japan although their post is with an ID, I'd say "you are lying. your post is with ID. It's a deeeaaaaaaaaaadddd giveawayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy."
OOpps... >>>999 in the previous thread was already answered to your question... I copied and pasted it below just in case.
>As far as I know, IDs are completely random. No unique ID for IP or country. ------- The ID is not displayed on your screen? Only people who have access to 2ch from Japan can see IDs?
And Igirisu-jin.... Long time no see. Although you may have already gone back to England and are now sipping some tea in your room listening to COOL TAK's songs.
>>4 It seems you are right about how IDs work. I get different ID on different days, and I am posting from the same address. Guess it is just to show it is from overseas.
>>5 ID is displayed. I was just wondering if there was anything interesting that a 2ch expert could see.
>>7 Hope you're enjoying your trip. I live in Hiroshima so you can ask anything to me although you can get any info via your smartphone, which I assume you have or you can use Internet connection at your hotel. Too bad today is rainy all day.
>>11 Enjoying it very much, thanks! Had some delicious softserve soy sauce ice cream today. It's true that the weather's bad, but it reminds me of home.
By the way, someone in Nagoya told me that girls from Miyajima are the most attractive. Is this true?
I explained that the IDs are unique and only for posts from overseas to the impersonating idiot, he would not believe it, but hey that is so last thread... and he is so last millenium.
>>931 名前:名無しさん@英語勉強中[sage] 投稿日:2013/06/13(木) >>I think I will be so freaked out if I go to Sweden because tons of blonde hair and blue eyes and of course white people and no Asians basically. >>I guess they treat me like an ugly weirdo from Asia and make fun of me like "look ma! There is an ugly chink there!"
I went to Sweden only or transfer with air flights a few years ago. Can we paraphrase the word "an ugly chink" in "an ugly fault" ?
>>12 Good, you're enjoying your stay! Regarding the girls from Miyajima, as a Hiroshima local, I never heard of it. I've been to Miyajima countless times in my life but, I can't say that from my own experience, either. But come to think of it, it's difficult to see Miyajima girls because, all you see there are tourists. Only chance to identify them I think is when they work at suvenior shops, or hotels but, I don't think girls working there (maybe daughrters of owners?) are particularly beautiful.
>>12 cont. I don't know but maybe the person from Nagoya is talking abuot Miko(shrine maidens). You can see lots of Miko on new years holidays at Itsukushima shrine. The white clothes attracts some men. Fetish thing I guess? The most of the Miko you see during New Years holiday I think are probably high schoolers doing part-time job. They look attractive to some men. Again, it's never common belief that Miyajima girls are the most attractive. Never heard of it.
A founder of a famous app maker from Finland tweeted, "Happy midsummer to all" or something like that. I've never heard of "Happy midsummer." After some research, it's often used in Northern Europe. Is that the case in Sweden?
Typhoon is not coming, sorry. But like 17 said, he should buy a pair of souvenir nunchuks and hang them in his room to remember the awful weather and humidity in rainy june Japan.
>>20 Yes, midsummer celebrations are a thing here. And it's a big thing especially in the region of Sweden where I live.
I don't have anything exciting planned myself, but lots of people go home to their families for this holiday, and traditional celebrations with maypoles and music are everywhere.
>>28 you want to be distinguished from other 名無しさん(anonymous) ? so you put # after your name and any characters you like. these characters are converted and desplayed to irrelevant characters from the original one via hash function. your original characters is confident only to you.
I don't really need to be unique though, the name is just to say that this anonymous person happens to be Swedish.
Years ago, when I first started posting, there were several people posting as アメリカ人 (and other countries too) and it seemed like a good idea to say where I'm from.
Now of course there aren't any other people from Sweden posting in 2ch, so it seems more like a name. But I like anonymous posting, and that was the idea..
you know, kazuya got caught redhanded for keeping his sword in car-boot without permission. he was released though, because it was for ornamental purpose.
>>18 Thanks for the information! Actually, I'm on Miyajima right now, heading to the ropeway. I was just at Itsukushima Shrine, and the mikos seem to be better (aesthetically).
I thought that the wooden swords and brass knuckles were a joke, but I saw those too!
Also, someone else from this thread was bitten in the stomach by a deer.
It's quite a scenery in Miyajima when you go up with the ropeway You'll see many monkeys there Today is very sunny so I think you can see all the way. The blue clear sky and the sea Can't you see Shikoku from there? I did before
Near the Ohnoura JR station, (close to Miyajima) there are pretty good hot springs around there but you have got to walk about 20min or so to get there You'll see some slope by the route 2 by the sea There is a big sign saying, "Miyahama Onsenn(宮浜温泉)" You get to see pretty nice view from there. There are many hot springs but I prefer Miyahama Grand hotel`s hot spring. Really nice scenery but most people from outside don`t know If you have a car then it'll be much faster and they have the free parking lot
Right in between Miyajima and Ohnoura, I thought there was Maezora station and when you get off that station, right by the station, there is a huge Japanese restaurant(with free parking lot) They serve this very huge chicken. Salt or Tare flavor is nice
If you'd gone out much earlier then Iwakuni was so very close from Miyajima and that place is also beautiful with this Japanese bridge, castle, and some Japanese traditional houses. Also you get to see white snake as well That snake is considered so sacred
>>41 You tried to use common apostrophie but you forgot to do it here(hotel`s) and here (don`t ). That means as >>43 say, You're the middle-aged woman and you are from Hiroshima. Cat's out of the bag.
>>41 Which high school did you go? Nortordum Seishin or Jogakiun?
Actually I live in many places since I was very young
I`d never stayed in one place for such a long time I`d stayed with my family sometimes, sometimes in the student dome, both domestic and abroad, lived with my grandparents, grand-aunt, and with aunts who were still single at that time
It was quite nice to have relatives all over the place, mostly Chugoku and Kansai areas Also my ex was transferred to many places so I guess this is quite something
Surprising? I was raised in Hiroshima when I was very young for several years, with my grandparents and grand-aunts. My mom had a health problem so I was raised by them. When I grew up, my family finally came to pick me up Although, I was sent to school with dome to study
>>54 my grandma took me to this really nice place but it was gone several years ago I`d heard there is some good Okonomiyaki in Kaita area from locals, but never been there before
I prefer the very famous one called, " hasshou" Just in the middle of the city
When I was so young, I remember there were many elderly women cooking Okonomiyaki everywhere but now those women had passed out. Those were so delicious
Many memories over there. I sometimes see grandma in Hiroshima
a while ago i realized you lives in hiroshima you are so aho that you is leaking your personal information little by little. you should be more careful.
>>56 Compare to the big cities like Tokyo and Osaka, it is not that so urban but very compact. To tour around Hiroshima, you need to have a car Many people just see A-bomb dome and Miyajima but that`s so boring for locals
Hiroshima has really nice access of highway to many places I go to Yamaguchi to see the ocean, the mountain area for the really good hot springs, and to have very fresh fish I go to Shimane prefecture
Nowadays, there is this really nice bridges which connect Hiroshima to Ehime prefecture, Simanami-kaido. It`s really nice for cycling. It`s about 2hrs from Hiroshima city Very good scenery and good foods
>>58 well, not all the info is true No one really knows me and my background, by the way Actually, many don`t even know that I`m speaking English neither I got only few friends
I always wonder why people from kansai area don't fix their retarded dialects even if they live in say tokyo?
When I was in college, some students from Osaka always spoke with retarded dialect.... I hate kansai dialect so much because it sounds so vulgar right?
Hiroshima sounds so nice! I really wanna go there someday!
My ex husband was born in Chugoku area but his mom is from Osaka and he got this dialect. He is now in Tohoku but he told me that he still talks with dialect. They don`t change. Funny, isn`t it?
I came from a rural prefecture (well not THAT rural area) and I totally fixed my dialect and accent when I was in college because I was a kinda ashamed of speaking my local dialect
Now I'm back in my hometown but I don't speak with any dialect and accent. My japanese is totally fine (I think)
My ex-boyfriend was from Hiroshima somehow and we really enjoyed talking to each other a lot Having the same dialect which you are so familiar with is somehow so attracting I get this feeling as I get old
IMAO, I think having no dialect is having no sense at all The dialect has this unique way of expressing things I really wonder why some could just throw them away so easily Maybe they`re just so young
Because I can! Now I speak japanese just fine and I feel like finally I became a normal human lol I was a subhuman when I had my stupid dialects and accents I think
well, personally I do not like dialect of Tohoku area It kinda gives me a shiver b/c I feel that they talk like women compare to the dialect which I was so familiar with
And also Malaysian accent! They are also same! I know a lot of Japanese don't like them and always looks down on them like they are the inferior version of English or whatever but I love them! Japanese are too particular!
I really love how Indian talks in English I`d watched this Indian speaking English on you tube but that was so hilarius
Also Chinese English is very unique. It`s like Chinese English and it`s not that difficult to understand. That is pretty amazing b/c when Japanese talks in English, they have this weird "R" sound and their pronouciation is quite flat, so sometimes it`s difficult to understand
But people in Osaka, they`ve got this Osaka style like everywhere lol When I was living in Italy, their Italian is totally so Osaka! They just fit everywhere like Chinese
>>82 I`d heard a word, Kakyou by reading some books when I had some interest about Osaka Maybe they got that kind of spirit
When you go to tour abroad, you can tell people from Osaka, esp Occhan, by the way they carry around their own bag ...you know, the second bag underneath their armpit...lol
and I was talking with my friends about that and we kind a noticed that you can tell this person is Chinese, when you see occhan with this waist porch around their fatty stomach
Sup, japanese anons. Russia-kun speaking. Anyway, we've just had a discussion on a ruchan about how peculiar it is that j-rock, j-pop and classical music are mentioned in anime, manga and light novels almost constantly, yet various genres like techno, dubstep and noise are almost never mentioned. I thought to ask you directly and see for myself what's your opinion about it. So, your thoughts?
I guess his nikubou is entirely covered with foreskin. So You'd better peel it and then clean it up with soap so that all of the " chinkasu" are completely removed. Sorry, I don't know how you say "chinkasu" in English. After the process I mentioned above is finished , you can finally suck it.
When I heard Tokyo dialect for the first time, chills ran down my spine. Ahter all, Tokyo is a melting pot where bumpkins from all over the country get together, it is natural that their language becomes somewhat " neutral"
Are all Japanese men so stuck up on sex? Every other post is an insult with sexual references. Why do you act as if you are opressed? Is your society so pressurised when it comes to sex? To the point that you demand sex from foreigners visiting here? I mean what the heck IS YOUR PROBLEM?
people say a lot of thing about Hiroshima dialect but actually hiroshima dialect is what the lord was using a long time ago When the men use this dialect so properly it`s really awesome nowadays, all the guys seem like all girly and sick to me
Osaka dialect is for merchants, so they got this unique style, i guess
people have seen too many movies about Hiroshima Actually, when men with style uses Hiroshima dialect it`s quite different More powerful but very calm. I don`t know how to express this It`s a combination of style and displine of men
>>117 I feel kind of weird seeing those movies though They yell all the times but mostly they are so calm Like having conversation is something so stupid, they are quiet most of the times
When once in a while, they explode feelings, it`ll become like that so it really gave people scary feelings
Sometimes, some dialect is very sexually attractive Being in love is the totally mind game Dialect is some kind of tools Both men and women should be good with that Just moving nikubou in & out is not that quite fun
The conversation and having the irresistable feeling and affection is very important Maybe only once in your life time or none
some osaka people pronounce purasuchiku purachiku. but when they speak english, they can pronounce plastic purasuchiku. this proves that they can pronounce purasuchiku when speaking japanese.
>>122 Mine is something like a big mushroom whose umbrella is wide open. I don't remember exactly but you may call it goose or something in English. Anyway, if you try it, you'll be sure to be obsecced with it like a drug. lol
>>131 Women is a kind of animal who pretend to be innocent, so they are reluctant to talk about such topics in public. I know it all depends on the situations. I've heard Marie saying that converations about sex among women are more specific or blunt.
well, I never gone out with guys I never liked so I don`t talk about their penis I think most women are like that if they are in love but if not, maybe they tend to talk like that way
unlike women, men are more simple, I guess...don`t know b/c I`m not a man
there are a lot of conflicts among women as well and it is very exausting sometimes They are not satisfied all the times, no matter what others do for them
Men tend to want to be heroes when they are young but soon or later they`ll learn there is no cure for women
>>147 In Japan, there is no such a place like 2chan where people are allowed to fart freely. The second reason is you, who are okay with sex subject, unlike J-girls.
>>149 That middle aged woman is the A-class criminal. but could you please forgive her. we are all responsible for not being able to stop her spree. I'm so sorry.
Do you remember, like everyone can not be a vampire I remember the main character, Tom Cruise was saying that I chose you or whatever. I think they won`t even drink ugly guys blood either
>>147 That's none of your business! If you hate that kind of topic, just ingore them. A song goes like this; There is a river between man and woman, which is so deep and dark that nobody can cross, still starts to row a boat tonight again, Row and Row! row and Row! Never look back! Row and row!
>>156 It`s pretty funny b/c some girls like me, they are pretty mean so they make a hole on a boat and ask a guy to cross over and enjoy seeing them getting so suprised
I want to read "Queenie Peavy" again I read that when I was in the elementary school but I thought it was quite unique I remember that she was really so mean and sad
Of course it is my business. I am trying to get a feel of what your people are feeling. I am not trying to understand, Like I tried to feel why every foreigner visiting this thread this thread was assigned a sexual role. You guys offered sex, threatened with sex, referred to sex when expressing ordinary thoughts. I could not relate to any of this. It is a claustrophobic, inward looking feeling. It has become an impulsive reflex almost, to reply with sexual references. Almost like you were traumatised regarding sex and there is a deep wound in your soul. I sense that in this thread. and when I invite you to reflect on it, there is a self denying, sharp refusal.
So you are saying this is a social change problem? I was hoping, the men of this thread would reply, however tough it may be to speak about such matters.
Maybe too much info gave them threat about their own body and sex Women are the ones who falls in love so fast but they are not use to it so maybe they could only feel the fear
Most hikki problem will be solved when they meet really nice partner, I think
>>160 The only thing I can say is that maybe I love you because I try to consult a dictionary for the meanings of the difficult words you are using in order to understand what you are saying even when I get drunk. lol
mostly people don`t use the word "love" so much but I think that maybe some Japanese use them so lightly although, that is not that bad either b/c imagining this man searching words thru dictionary is quite cute
>>166 You are cool. If my words encourage someone to use a dictionary I am flattered. I hope one day I might be able to speak your language as well as you do now. It is a remote dream, but I will strive, remembering what you said here.
I am sorry if I come across as angry, that is not the feeling I was hoping to convey. Please forgive me because English is not my native tongue. I probably use it more harshly than the native speakers.
I lived a long time in the UK, Europe and North America. But I was exposed to English since age seven, on and off. Studied English in my home planet from age 12 onwards, but I am not sure if that worked. It wasn't until I was in the UK that I really had to sit exams for university entrance. I realised I had to make an extra effort. I had enormous support from my English language teachers. They went out of their way to help me outside the normal timetable. I am most grateful to them. One thing I really loved was writing essays. I was writing stories and in order to describe the feelings I felt I used the dictionary intensively. Because I wanted to be able to convey those feelings, very strongly. Language learning is more emotive than logical IMHO.
Speaking of Sweden, I went to ikea last week and ate hotdog! That was super disgusting! How could they sell that disgusting food....no its not food for human it's for dogs seriously
really? I prefer to see them directly b/c it`s only once in a year No one really knows rather we are alive next year so I would like to see it tonight. Must be so beautiful
I saw full moon yesterday It was so bright with the mackerel sky The bright moonlight spread into those clouds and it was quite a scenery I`d remembered about the tale of Kaguya-hime
>>91 И тебе привет. >>92 True, but if the popularity in Japan of such genres is at least equal to the popularity in Russia and/or America, I don't see any reasons why it shouldn't be mentioned at all. I mean,if you look at American movies, you can definitely see various clubs, where the music of these kinds is played, and even archetypical DJs, "techies" who love such music, etc. The actual question is, seeing as anime, manga and light novels seem to explore various subcultures, why is that this particular subculture is ignored?
Of course, I meant American movies as the example of media coverage which plays a major role in forming of society's opinion. Sorry, if that isn't clear from the first glance.
Do you actually think that Japanese men has their own opinions? Most guys really do not know how to cope with women so they`re just half a human. Their opinion is just one of their imagination
I admit that they are pretty good with business and studies but I would say that they are not really good at taking care of family or loving woman. So their philosophy and opinion is quite weak
Because the society is based on family I believe business and studies are useful because we have family to take care of They have no base and what kind of society would that be??? lol
I want to talk with Russia-kun because it's rare to see someone talking about anime here, but I'm thoroughly fed up with seeing that piece of shit filling the thread non-stop, and also the other persistent piece of shit repeating his gaijin hate over and over. I'll pretend this thread ended with Igirisujin setting foot in Japan, and forget this mental asylum thread for good.
omg! I just saw this really cool guy on the tv He really loves fish and gone out to amazon and he can survive in the wild My dad was like that when we were young
To someone who has programming skills, make a Igirisu-jin tracking app to know where he is traveling now, like the one that tracks where Sanata Clause is traveling.
However, they can speak Japanese. English language may not reach the Japanese logical thinking level. I'm lucky being Japanese because Japanese language is very logical.
>>214 Tey're not logical but illogical human beings, so they are humans like us. Of course, it is desirable that the humans are logical. I think Australia is a developing country in regard to logical thinking.
>>203 Hi, Australian here. Just thought I'd offer my perspective on this topic. I understand you think my government is wrong about this. And personally I would agree with you on that. But as long as this dispute exists between our governments, having the matter settled by a court seems like a logical course of action. As long as Japan's activities are lawful, the case should pose no concerns, right? And once the court makes its decision, both countries can put the dispute behind them. In any event, I don't think there's anything 'logical' about judging a whole country as illogical due to the actions of their government. The average Australian really doesn't care about Japanese whaling.
>>215 They are human looking but not human. How can you call barbarians which are proud of their history like murdering aborigines human?!They are barbarians!
Also it's super annoying because apparently austkorea is considered "Asian" country like japan!wtf Fuck austkorea...if you are japanese you can understand this mixed feeling like foreigners think all Asians are the same like china Korea japan..... It's okay to be called like Vietnamese Hong Konger, Taiwanese.... But fucking Chinese?! and Koreans?! Wtf fuck them all!!!!!!
I wonder whether ICJ is logical or not. Tokyo Tribunal(1946~1948) was very illogical. Japanese don't expect the logical judge. If the world should be good, Hashimoto, the mayor of Osaka city, would not be exposed to harsh criticism.
>>217 but...Japanese and Australian can sex and have babies, so both are human beings. They are only illogical.
>>217 I don't think anyone considers Australia an Asian country. But it does seem that it often gets "bundled up" with Asian countries as one region for business purposes - same as when "EMEA" (Europe, Middle East and Africa) is treated as one region.
At least from here, Australia is seen as belonging to the group of English-speaking countries when it comes to culture.
・Japan should stop killing dolphins ・Japan should apologise and pay compensation money for Koreans and Chinese ・Japanese are hentai ・Japan must stop whaling. ・Comfort women are sex slaves. ・Atomic bombs are not massacre. ・Nanking massacre is true history. ・Japan was a predatory nation but the U.S. the U.K. France and the Netherlands were not in WW2. ・The Japanese are racists.
>>223 Racism is everywhere. As far as I can tell, Australia is doing reasonably well dealing with it. "White supremacy" is pretty much taboo everywhere nowadays..
I've never tried whale meat before and I really want to. I don't understand why people want to forbid eating whale meat. Why can we eat pork, beef, chicken and not whale meat? Is it because whale is very rare in number now and we should protect it? Then technically speaking, we should eat human meat.
Because they are racists who can't help but push their western cultures! In fact so many western countries in the past killed so many whales but they conveniently overlook this fact and unabashedly criticise only japan
I'm completely ossan and I remember whale meat was served for school lunch when I was a kid. The way it's seasoned was good and it was delicious. I heard in some parts of Japan, they eat dolphin. I can't agree with the idea of eating dolphin but somehow it's OK for me to eat whale. I think that's maybe because I think that's the way it is. It's similar to Western people eating beaf. They think that's the way it is.
Japanese like horse meat. it's very popular. I often eat it at the sushi shop. The King of all beasts in Japan ate 6 kg horse meat a month and he became a former decathlon champion in Japan. Therefore, the consumtiopn of horse meat in Japan will increase.
Well, looks there are zero fucks given about my question. Recommend me a Japanese English-speaking imageboard or something, so I can ask elsewhere. Anyway, disregarding that, today on Russian imageboard we argued whether a media product can be reproduced with an ideal set of tropes that fully describes it and whether such set can even hypothetically exist. Your thoughts?
>baka gaijins issues Does someone even actually care? I mean, every nation has problems with stereotypical views of foreigners. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if it's actually their own opinion, and not someone else's, and if they can properly argument said opinion. I mean, damn, one of my friends is a religious fanatic and the other one is (or at least was) a person of right-wing views. But still, we value the freedom of each other's views, if we can properly argument them, and we never say that our beliefs are the right ones, because there're no "right" beliefs. If proper logic that is built on said beliefs is contradictory, then that means that either the belief is wrong, or there's an error in said logic's construction. Ergo, there are no "right" beliefs, only wrong ones. Dunno why I'm bothering to write this lengthy paragraph.
There is a type of horse meat sausage that is pretty popular in this region of the country. I had some on a sandwich this morning actually. It's not common to eat horse in regular meals as you would eat pork or beef though.
>>244 Well, "trope" implies you take away the details and boil things down to the simplest possible thing that product A and product B have in common, so I guess a complete description is out of the question.
This also gets into statistics and compression, if one wants to go down that rabbit hole, but that seems a bit much for this small comment box.
As for the music thing, mainstream is mainstream, I guess.
I have eaten a raw meat of horse, when I was high school student. And I have eaten a meat of whale, when I was a student of an elementary school. I prefer a meat of whale which tastes very sweet. A meat of horse has good taste. But I think it is mainly because of a yuzu source or something. In this kind of pre-summer-humidity-season of japan, we better not to eat raw things I think.
>>250 I strongly disagree. The term "trope" encompasses an extreme amount of things, starting with basic things like plots and settings, moving onto more complex concepts like narrative devices or characterization, and ending with things that are only tangent to narrative like paratext or recurring motifs. Thus, if one would have an ideal set (read:complete) of ideal tropes (read: tropes, which are so basic that they can't be broken down any further), he would be able to fully reconstruct any media product (of course, we're talking about media with clear narration here). In real life, it's possible to reconstruct any media product to a certain degree of reliability, basically, until it fits subjective criteria of similarity. Discovery of more and more advanced tropes is merely a matter of pattern recognition.
You go to grocery stores and you find pork, chiken, beef but you don't find horse meat. That shows how uncommon eating horse meat is in Japan. Miyazaki prefecture is famous for horse meat prodction so I think they sell horse meat at the grocery stores there.
>>253 Your wording is kind of difficult and it seems like it takes high command of English to understand you. So, what was your question again? I don't watch anime and I'm not sure if I can understand what you mean, though. Why techno music isn't used in Japanese anime?
>>253 I guess we have different definition of what a trope is. To me, the word implies something generic, simplified, lacking detail.
But anyway, at the extreme point of getting a complete reconstruction, I would say that one would necessarily end up with something that is indistinguishable from what one started with - that is, if one could find tropes that *completely* describe some media (a film, say), it would be fair to just call it a compression technique or a codec.
Now I unfortunately have to go and be useful for a while..
>>255 We're currently discussing other question, actually. Whatever. My previous question wasn't "Why techno/dubstep/noise/whatever electronic music genre isn't used in Japanese anime?", because it is used, albeit rarely. Rather, my question was "Why there are no listeners of such genres in anime in-universe?" Because, from my point of view, anime seems to explore a lot of different subcultures. Yet, there also a lot cultures that anime just seems to ignore. The case with electonic music is just an example of such deliberate disregard. If you're actually interested, I have time to discuss it right now.
>>258 You mean, There should be an anime whose theme is techno/dubstep/noise/whatever electronic music genre? Or anime characters in an any given anime should listen to techno/dubstep/noise/whatever electronic music genre in the anime?
I guess I'm off the point.... Difficult to understand what you mean due to lack of English proficiency. >>257 is right in that regard.
>>256 True. I find it a really interesting idea, because if one would be able to distill (or, in your terms, compress) media to a basic set of tropes, then one would be able to enkoy the narrative without any actual sensory input (much like books or complete scripts, but on even higher level of advancement). Truly fascinating.
>>259 Basically, yes. There is quite a lot of coverage of various more or less regular genres in anime, like rock (Beck), jazz (Sakamichi no Apollon), classical music (Nodame Cantabile), J-Pop (K-On! is actually pretty infamous in russian anime circles) and many other genres. Yet electronic music never seems to show up. And it's not like electronic music is any less popular than, for example, jazz (or, at least, that's my speculations on your culture). So, I'm interested in causes of this.
>>263 AH now I see what you mean. Come to think of, you are right. I wonder why, too.
Only very popular manga become anime. So I guess there are some manga where main characters are DJ of electronic music or something but they don't become anime because they are not popular enough to become anime. This explanation doesn't answer your question, though...
>>263 As you say, Jazz is less popular than techno and electronic music, but it has much longer history than the electronic music. That could be a part of the reason why. Not sure though.
>>263 Do you know "Doujin," which is manga made by an amateur manga artist. After a quick internet search, I found a DJ who made a manga whose theme is thechno. He exhibited and maybe sold it in a Doujin even in 2011.
>>281 I'm poor like Charls Ramsey so what I order at McDonald's is a cheese burger and a coffee. The coffee is free because I use a coupon. So I pay 150 yen. (it was 120 yen a while ago but they raised the price to 150 yen) I want to order a simple and cheapest burger which used to be 100 yen (it's 120 yen now) but, I don't want clerks to think I'm stingy so I order a cheese burger, which is 30yen higher than the cheapest burger instead. (I know, I'm already stingy at the moment I use a free coffee coupon...)
>>285 To draw a winning stick of GARIGARI-KUN is more pathetic. It's horrifying just thinking about to exchange that stick for free GARIGARI-KUN in a store.
please tell me native speakers (or experienced engilsh learner).
''I was surprised by the way she played, you can tell she is very experienced,'' Witthoeft said. ''I did not think she would be able to play so well, because she is so old.''
this sentences are post match interview at wimbledon tennis and she is evaluating the opponent (winner: japanese veteran kimiko date krumm). please note the second second line's phrase "so old". whether these words imply impolite meaning or not ? and whether these words are appropriate to such a formal situation (official interview) ? "so old "in this sentences means "beldam" or "skilled person" ?
Ever noticed how there're no 'forever alone' guys, who voluntarily take this place in life? As in, you know, standard harem plot, your usual japanese high-schooler loser - you know, jack of all trades, master of none. Plot thickens, etc., etc., his relationship with girls surrounding him deepens, however, instead of choosing one of the girls/choosing all of the girls/making a standard non-choice, he deliberately pushes everyone from him, because he values the freedom that his solitude gives him. Freedom from relationships, freedom from obligations, freedom from the world. You know, there is a saying by a famous author from my homeland (Ukraine, actually), Grigoriy Skovoroda, and it goes like this - "The world tried to catch me, yet never did". Fits perfectly for a plot like this, doesn't it? It would be rather interesting to observe such development from purely artistical point of view, I think.
I've been seriously considering getting the double eyelids surgery! That does not necessarily mean I am a white wannabe or something! I just want bigger eyes!
Japenese men are handsome but they don't know it. It comes from the inside. I often asked why. It is this very strong masculine and noble attitude they have. I don't sense that body language or that "look" in another nation.
Yes they are handsome. A very unique brand of handsome. It is a combination of looks, eye contact and posture. If he radiates a certain determination, that is so hot. Even when too shy, it is amazing. Body is a reflection of the mind.
>>317 Ukraine girls are one of the most beautiful girls in the world with blonde hair. Are they vergin until they get married? If not, where are popular places they first sleep with a boyfriend? Boyfroend's room? On hays? in the field?
Kawashima is very handsome Konno is normal Yoshida is handsome Nagatomo is handsome Uchida is very kawaii. Endou is a green dinosaur. Hasebe is handsome Honda is very handsome Kagawa is normal Okazaki is normal Maeda is handsome
People say women in Ukraine are beautiful or whatever but I hate their looking like east European facial features... They look so cheap and poor I think they have sex in the church
>>338 Wherever I go like city, street, convenience store, supermarket, I only come across ugly men! They are so ugly I almost vomit seriously! Also I gotta say japanese women are ugly as well but they are ugly inside and out
How come ugly ones can shameless live? They must fix their ugly facial features first!
Lol'd at stereotypical depiction of ukrainian women in this thread. >>320 Both, actually. I'm talking about difference of real life and portrayal in media, lol. I personally know a couple of people, who neglect their private lives in favor of something else, whether it's something trivial like money and influence, or something worth of respect like relentless pursue of their ideals. Even I'm that kind of person, and my views about this subject completely correspond with above-mentioned quote. Yeah, I know, social demand, instilment of social values, etc., but even in indie media it isn't really discussed, and it is interesting why this particular layer is rarely touched.
I just use a normal web browser. There was - I think - a 2ch browser that was a Firefox extension that I did look at a while ago. It seemed like too much trouble to use.
If you're unsure about fonts' names that you can put into those strings, look up these for a complete list: font.name-list.monospace.ja font.name-list.sans-serif.ja font.name-list.serif.ja
>>356 I don't use Firefox, unfortunately. And this is good enough as it is.
>>355 Thanks for trying to help. Does that really work in FF? (or whatever you are using) I don't see that 2ch sends out what language it uses anywhere.
Site specific CSS is probably my best bet, I just have to get annoyed enough to want to do it, and AA isn't all that common here.
Continuing my musing upon previous topic, I noted that a lot of socially unfriendly aesops seem to be either neglected,or used to paint character as a villain. For example, your usual moral dillemma - "friend's life or something that you strived for a long time". I can recall precisely zero examples, where hero abandons his friend in favor of said something, and doesn't get the short stick of villain portrayal. P.S Being a boring media-nerd 24 hours a day sure is fun.
I don't use 2ch browser because using it means I admit I immerse myself in 2ch wasting my time. So I've been using with a usual browser to browse 2chan for, ahen, ten years. Yeah, a decade. I'm wasitin my time a decade. Some may think then I should use 2ch browser but, I'm still hesitant.
I didnt know that. Thanks for the link. It ,makes me so depressed. I mean october. We didn't have a summer over here. Besides future is bleak, too bleak.
Today I went to a local supermarket and then got some serial, soy milk, frozen blueberries and banana!!!!! I just ate these!!!!!! It was good! I just imitated the way of foreigners! They eat this kind of thing in the morning right?
I wish I had some strawberries but they are not cheap in japan
Now I'm feeling like I'm sophisticated and westernised!!!!
What does it mean? When a man replies to your mail (phone brandname)™より送信されました。 received by his machine? Wakaranai....just an acknowledgement? Don't bother me? Busy?
>>317 Are you talking about harem animes? If so, what's the point of ditching the girls in a harem plot? If the protagonist was to become a lone wolf, the plot would be something different (non-harem anime), I think.
>>346 What you are talking about (freedom from the world/society, pursuing your own ideals, etc) is a common theme in media, isn't it? I don't know why you think of it as something special.
But when I have some time, I make baked egg, some bacons or sausages! Although my mum somehow makes traditional japanese breakfast for me, I don't eat them because I prefer western breakfast!!!!!!!
Because I'm super sophisticated and civilised and westernised and I'm not one of those dirty yellow monkey japs which eat stinky natto or miso soup or something!!!!!!!!!!
Today I came across this car and the loud speaker attached to it said like if you believe in Jesus Christ, you can go to heaven or something......wtf This literally ruined my day
>>404 Is that true? If so, they don't know the teachings of Christianity at all. Concepts such as heaven, hell or purgatory were created by people in later ages. If you read the Bible, you'll find they have nothing to do with Jesus Christ.
Also they gave us some kind of stupid leaflets which I immediately threw away lol Apparently now they are selling the abbreviated version of the bible at a discounted price lol
Anyways I don't believe in Christianity at all! They justify slavery sexism homophobia and stuff like that! They need to kill themselves now! Suicide is a murder in Christianity? Who cares? Just kill themselves I'm sure they will go to heaven ;)
Most of oyaji gags are made up of homonyms. If you let me, I'll explain to you what they are like. When I was a kid, there was a popular duo named Anonenone appearing on TV. They had a hit song titled Akatonbo ( the Japanese word for red dragonfly) Their another song's lyrics are a typical example of oyaji gag
魚屋のおっさんが屁をこいた ブリっ! The English translation is as follows; A fish dealer farted. Buri! In this case, Buri has two meanings in Japanese. The sound of fart and the name of a fish.
Ayase is so cute!! I've just seen the episode 12 of OREIMO and was so moved to watch it's ending with touching ED. Does anybody in this thread see this animation too?
i heard you like nattou so when you are in a coffine, I will put well-stirred nattou around your face and push some in your nostrils instead of cotton.
Well I get fat if i eat a lot But I can easily lose weight! Actually I've been on a diet for 3 weeks now and I already lost 6 kilograms! Hopefully I will lose a few kilograms in a week!
No UK boys are usually fit, but once married or over 30 they gain weight, I guess it is the marriage stress. I think income gap is an issue, poorer people eat high calorie foods.
Actually I have never seen obese people in the UK. They exist? I do remember I lost a lot of weight like almost 10 kilograms when I was in England for 5 weeks. I blame food and host mums shitty food.... I always ate sandwiches and burgers from Burger King only LOL
Oh I often went to china town and japanese restaurant but they were not good and also overpriced as hell like wagamama... Usually japanese restaurants are owned by Chinese or Koreans.... So not authentic
>>477 I have Japanese friends in London who know Soho inside out so when I hook up with them they take me to restaurants either owed by Japanese or have authentic Japanese cooking. One tiny ramen place served the most delicious ramen I have ever had, apparently its Chinese owner lived in Japan.
It's been a while since the last time I see thie thread. About three months have passed, and back then, there are more responses than now. What happend to this thread?
It's been very hot today, but I went to Ramen-Jiro for lunch with my senior collegue. It takes about 10 minutes from our office to the Jiro by walk, so we sweat a lot, but that hot temperature made Jiro's salty taste more delicious.
I used to spend time on imageboards (4chan and similar) and through that heard of 2ch. Don't know why, but there is something about text boards that I like.
Also I guess I have an interest in Japan generally.
You are right that there are not many people who know Japan well. Many people know Japan poorly, though. They know what they have seen on TV and silly stuff they've read on the Internet.
I just wanted to reach the place where nobody but me can go, I was able to study, train myself, and so on no matter how long it takes in order to fufill that purpose, Recently, however, I 've finally found ,no I've been made to realized that such place dosen't exist anywhere. When I realized that, I've lost the reason to live.
>>520 You got me. Well, I don't mind if my life is hell as long as I can found something very important in my life. The problem is that the only and sole thing that's so important for me has disappeard from my life.
>>524 As you may know, my answer to your question is the latter. If the former, I wouldn't suffer. Of couse, I made a plan in detail, say, obtaining that credential, this one to achieve vague goal. So far, there have been no problem..........but why?
You start questioning things when your primate self cannot catch up with your evolved-higher-being self. You need to listen to your instincts as much as your consciousness. The answer is hidden there even if you are unable to take action on it,
An ex boyfriend used to say "You analyze too much!", palming my head as if he was going to pick it up and go bowling with it. I guess that is why he is an ex.
>>513 Usual Japanese people including me don't know much about Sweden as well. As it's far away from Japan, the images of Sweden in Japan are sometimes unrealistic.
Some people have very good image of Sweden, for example it's a very rich and peaceful country where people don't have to work hard like Japan, and everyone can receive good benefit while the government maintains healthy budget.
But there are people whose images of Sweden are bad, for example it's promoting extreme individualism, and people are suffering from divided family and racial conflicts which are resulted from immigration policy.
Tell me about things you guys do on your own (other than THAT please, seriously)
I will tell you what I do sometimes. Arrive at my room very late after a long day at work.
Today, it was only 12 hrs but I started midday. Well, I rode my bike after midnight along a 1.5 km stretch of a long road. It was soooo peaceful, no one but me in the middle of the street, some soft smooth jazz tune on my Sony walkman.
Sometimes I am so happy with doing things alone it scares me!
So I was supposed to go to ramen shop but somehow I ended up with mosburger! I ordered some spicy hotdog, a mos chicken, large drink and frenchfries!!!!! They were damned good!
BUT I'm always super frustrated by the size of drink in japan! Today I ordered "L" size drink but it was super tiny and tons of ice cubes and it was so hot today so I finished it within 1 minute wtf and it's not cheap at all like its about 300 yen for that tiny "L" size!!!!!!
I think I need to go to the states or somewhere....
ICJ did a good judge whaling issue, but Australian complain about it. Australian seem to think the Antarctic Continet belongs to Australia. They don't know the Antarctic Treaty, do they?
They kill Kangaroos to protect the ecosystem and crops. However, they say Japan must not do whaling. It's a double standard.
Australia government doesn't have logical mind. The Govenment is made by Australian, so Australian might not have logical mind.
I was collected my blood in the medical checkup. I really dislike blood collection, because I always feel sick when my blood is being collected, and in some cases I lose consciousness.
Yeah austkoreans are such hypocrites which always push their fucking retarded cultures and values and if japan refuses that, they immediately get crazy like Koreans
They are nothing but radical terrorists! The austkorean government approves that too... What the hell kind of government approves the terrorism? Maybe japan should cut the diplomatic relation with austkorea....so dangerous....
California city ended up being a very stupid city. Korean's anti-Japanese activities are very stupid. Korea is a cult country. I thought foreigners didn't know the abnormal character of Korean. However, recently, I noticed that foreigners don't have logical mind like Japanese. People on the earth except Japanese are people who are considered to be primitive.
It is very good for world peace. Japanese have the most logical thinkking people in the world.
Australia is not logical on whaling. American is not logical on WW2. Korea is always not logical on everything. China is not logical on the Senkaku islands. Russia is not logical the Northern Territories.
Honestly I've been reluctant to watch it because this Korean figure skater used this music on her performance in last season and won the world championship with crazy score! (With easy jump layouts and mediocre spins and step)
I guess the movie is mediocre at best like kimuchi bitch's performance
I am the most logical person in Japan. That is to say, I am the most logical person on the earth. I'm frightened of my locigal ability. Of course, I can't speak English, but it doesn't matter. English logical power is inferior to Japense logical power. This is why Japanese are not good at speaking English. Japanese language is the most logical language in the world.
>>602 The type of your logic is well known as sophism. That's because you will never specify the best person. The average Japanese is the best? The average is no one after all. When you specify who is, your logic will collapse.
Japanese language is the most logical. I am the most logical in Japan. Therefore, I am the most logical person on the earth. Of course, there are a lot of reason I am the most logical, but I can't express them in English. I regret it.
>>608 You are not a politician so you don't have power to do the logic, right? Just specify the name of best politician, I mean, the second to you. Then I can tell whether you're a liar or not.
>>609 My logical has nothing to do with politics. I don't understand what you are saying.
A clever falcon hides his claws.(Still waters run deep/A talented person doesn't need to show off)
"I am the most logical person" is not claws. This is only the truth. I hide my claws. My claws can be written only in Japanese, the most logical language..
If someone knew my claws and used the right way, he or she could get a Nobel Peace Prize. However, if someone used wrong ways, the world would end. This is why I must hide my claws for the world peace.
>>613 You're amazing!! Having seen your some responses, at least I can tell that you would become most interesting comedian in this world!! Just go for it and improve your humor.
I will eat whale and dolphin in Taiji this summer. This is not a evil thing. I don't want to meet SS members. I hate them. I won't forgive them. They guys are all morons.
I like whale meat. (positive) I want to go to Taiji. (positive) I want to remove comfort woman statues in the U.S. (very positive and need very positive power.)
I dont hate any of people. There are lots of good people even though they are Korean, Chinese, etc, but The worst three country(government) I hate is 1.Korea 2,Chine 3, America. Fuck off
I don't like those who don't have logical mind. Many gaijins don't have logical mind. I don't like gaijins not because of gajins but because of nological.
I always build up my vocabulary using some kind of textbooks or my original vocabulary book I made and also I listen to BBC global news and NHK world news on my iPhone, read a lot of articles on the Internet, and watch a lot of American TV series!
I've been watching CSI for now but this one is helplessly boring...
>>668 I'm not an oyaji!!!! I'm still in college!!!!! I'm super young and super fresh like fresh vegetables as hell!!!!!!! I'm not those who sit in front of PCs all day!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a poor college student, this price down is so helpful.... I have a question for you guys! Is there any lucrative part time job which college students can?
I hate to teach to someone! In fact I don't have the ability to teach something to someone because I'm so "baka"! LOL I'm a student of the so called "F rank" university!
Maybe I'm going to apply for some shitty job like cashier at convenience store or something....
>>675 Don't worry. An average F-ranked university student couldn't write even as two times easy as your Engslish. Well, frankly speaking, you couldn't work for big company due to lack of your educational background , but it would be possible for you to work for middle-scale company and then climb the corporate ladder. So, never drop your hope and just hang in there !!
Being young is lack of the way one could go along. Becoming older, you would find the way you should walk along. Becoming too old, you come to find the true way you should walk along.
[ Being young ] is lack of the way [ one could go along ]. [ Becoming older ], you would find the way [ you should walk along ]. [ Becoming too old ], you come [ to find the true way { you should walk along } ].
>>676 That's okay! I'm painfully aware of the fact that I can't work for big name company! But I really want to get a job which gives me some opportunities to go abroad in the future like business trip or something!!!!!!!!! That's enough for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh today I'm super duper happy because I finally passed grade 1 of Eiken! YAY I was taking this interview test a lot!(yes, I'm super baka right? in my opinion the withering test is a piece of cake actually!) Given I'm a student of the "F ranked" university, I'm relatively doing good right? Of course I'm not a returnee and don't have any experiences of studying abroad or whatever!!!!!!! I'm 100% authentic japanese as hell!!!!!!
Now I can concentrate on other things... Of course I will continue learning Engrish!!!!!!!!!! LOL
>>680 Are you really F-ranked university student? As you may know, there are quite a few people even in A or S- ranked univerity who cannot pass pre-1 level of Eiken. You are so amazing!! I take back my opinion about your lack of your educational background and job hunt. You could work worldwide if you have the strength other than your English skill.
>>682 Yep! I'm a "F ranked" university student! I'm just so happy because I don't need to get really nervous at the interview test anymore and also I don't need to be depressed by the sight where there are lots of returnees at the interview test.... (I was taking it in tokyo so tons of returnees literally)
>>683 My brother is a graduate of "kyu-tei" university as well but he doesn't speak English at all because his speciality is agriculture!!!!!!!!
altenate current, wich means 交流 in Japanese is also AC for short, I guess. And I dont know it's formal name in English, but 公共広告機構 in Japanese , the organization that makes various advertisement, say, POPOPOPO-N shortly after 3.11 is also AC.
>>696 What are you saying? Jerking off is man's fundamental and sacred right and we can do it any time. and you can do it right now, anytime, anywhere. Don't misunderstand this important matter.
>>696 I don't jerk off that much! Jerking off makes me so tired...is it just me or what?! also I don't like to clean my TENGA chan....it's a little pain in the ass...
>>701 You shouldn't be ashamed! Everyone makes mistakes! I always make mistakes like today I did UFO catcher and got three stuffed "rilakkuma" and spent 1000 yen! LOL
The other day I also went to the nearby arcade for the first time in years. I played UFO catcher, hockey, racing video games and so on. I had a good time!
Well, let me check what I just wrote according to what I have kept doing. Bracketing. -----------------------------1949 was the year [ when I was born ]. Yet I don't remember [ how I was born ]. But I have a [ startling ] memory [ that I came out of a truly narrow place ]. [ After I had a memory ], I heard from my father [ that it took so long a time { till I came out of mother's body } ]. My father told me [ that I took such a long time { to go through the tunnel-like thing of my mother's body } ]. [ When my head came out of my mother's body ], the head was so long [ that my father startled ]. It's katawa, a retarded person. But in one day, my head came back to normal roundness. ---------------good. it is good rechecking.
>>710 Oh come on! I'm not!!!! I'm not like "the middle aged woman" who is an emotional egomania!!!!!!!!! I think using a lot of ! makes me sound like young!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought there are lots of middle-aged person like middle-aged woman who typed many boring and so long crap and got emotional so easily in this thread, but it's recognition is turned out to be wrong. At the very least, there are three people who are in college. The first is the F-ranked but passed grade 1 of Eiken. The second is kyu-tei university student but cannot get over 500 score on TOEIC. The third is me who is equel to God of this world !!
Good morning! Today I'm going to Muji to buy something by using some shopping points on my iPhone application! The expiration date is the end of the month so I have to go!!!!! What's your agenda today?
Now I'm at McDonald! Not mos burger this time! I ordered mac double and shakashaka chicken with cheese powder! This is my very first time to enjoy mac double, its actually very good!!!!!!
>>719 Think whatever you want, as you wish. The fact that I'm the exsistance beyond human beings doesn't change no matter how desperate you argue. hahaha
I went to the city hall to vote , that is, pre-day voting (期日前投票) I voted for LDP hoping for them to solve the twisted Diet (this would be solved) and I want them to change the Article 9 of Japanese Constitution. I think that that artile ruined Japanese fundamental loyalty toward it's nation and allowed Korean to invade Jpan.
>>726 \1000 burger uh, It is very expesively for me to buy I'm jealous your sister If I have \1000, I can eat Beef bowl about three times There is earnest problem
Yeah 1000 yen burger is so expensive for poor college students like me... Speaking of "beef bowl", I don't remember last time I went to Yoshinoya or Sukiya... Maybe I'll go to "beef bowl" restaurant this week!!!!! OMG I eat too much junk food...literally my body is made up of junk food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Japan was defeated about 70 years ago. It's natural for defeated country to be treated like "evil". So, the U.S support the dubious idea of Korean sex slave and Nanking massacre and doesn't apologize for their truly evil deed of dropping atomic bomb and kill lots of people with despair. The one who should be critisized is トルーマン. That's for sure.
Today I watched this move called "誰も知らない" on Hulu. I'm feeling so sad now! Actually I just checked up on this on Wikipedia and realised this movie is based on the true incident.....
>>727 I did that last Sunday because my mom tells me to vote all the time which is quite annoying! I hate it when some kind of officials ask me so hard like "why I can't vote on the day" or something. Of course it depends. Sometimes they are super 適当 but sometimes they are so arrogant and inquisitive as hell!!!! its like a interrogation or something!!!!!!!
>>726 If I pay \1000 for a humberger,I choose KUA AINA or other restaurant. KUA AINA is a expensive humberger shop but even KUA AINA is less cheaper than that!
I don't know that kind of classy hamburger restaurants...I think I need to be more adventurous and try different restaurants all the time! I'm the kind of guy who always go to the same restaurant and then order the same menu...
I haven't eaten out somewhere sinse I became absorbed in using Internet while eating. Before that, I liked to go outside to eat somewhere, say, Mac, Mos, COCOS.
>>762 Thank you! I think I will take 通訳ガイド or 国連英検 but I don't have any knowledge about the Japanese history nor geography.... also I heard that the interview test of 通訳ガイド will change from this year!!!! It will be like the interview test of grade 1 of Eiken like 1 native 1 japanese and you have to choose the topic and make a speech and Q&A So I think I put off taking 通訳ガイド for now... Maybe my next target is 国連英検 but I have no ideas on the United Nations ( I actually took this class on the United Nations but I totally forgot about everything LOLOLOL)
by now you are supposed to turn on the air‐conditioner due to the japanese muggy summer. but you may also be suffered from dusty condition of your room by using air-condtioning. so you should be well organized of your room.
There should be more and more responses in this thread. I wanna study English to read and write as much sentences as possible. So, everyone, let's get typing started !!
Japanese are the most logical people on the earth. Foreigners can't think things logically, because English language lack the ability of logical thinking.
I hate Korean most. Japanese should hate Korean more and more. The hate isn't going to cause the war between Japan and Korea because Japanese are peaceful people.
I also hate Koreans, so I don't mean to talk back to you but I think what is important to us most now is not such an emotion but a strategy. Koreans are eagerly engaged in lobbying activity in the U.S. about comfort woman issue. It's their strategy aimed at the international community taking sides with them. So we should be more aware that we are at war with them now. Information wars are invisible so that we tend to make light of them.
No wonder Japan is under the invisible war. Japanese should notice the era of peace ended. Japanese way of thinking, like "Lying is bad"or "History is a filed of science." are to meet humanity and morality. If Japan were to be defeated, it would mean "Lying is good. History is not learning but fiction." That is why Korean are the enemy of mankind.
That's for sure. The day Korean and Japanese get along doesn't come definetely forever and ever. We Japanese shoule be alway aware that there is conflict at all time when it comes to some kind of talking with Chine and Korean. One of their traits is attacking Japan. What a pain in the ass....
Exactly. The more they do anti-Japanese activities, the more they lose the ablility of logical thinking and human dignity. They will end up being excluded from mankind. When it happens, we will not need to apply human rights to them.
By the way, why are high school baseball tournaments held in hot summers? I think it is because commercial people standing at top on the baseball tournaments never consider high school students human rights. They only thinks their benefits from the tournaments.
So, it is one example, people who only thinks their rights shouldn't talk about human rights!
I just wanna go back to the day where there are full of fun things and far from pain and sarrow. Every time summer comes near, I get depressed to look back on those days. I used to go to the grandparent's house during summer vacation which was located in rural area, in mountain. I went to river and swim, climbed mountain, caught insects, and so on, but that house no longer exists and my that precious memory and fresh thought is vanishing day by day. I just.......wanna go bak.
>>787 I remember that game! Although I didn't play it, my brother used to play it and I just watched it beside! I remember that was a big hit game right?
I think I need some distractions like video game....I like Megami Tensei series!
>>790 I have not played the persona 4 yet, although I played the persona 2 罪 and 罰 and the persona 3. That was a loooong time ago like 10 years?! Now the persona series has become a big hit but at that time they were not so popular and I was the only student who played the persona and megaten series....
Yeah Tecmo always creates kawaii characters... I also loved the 零 series too! The characters in zero are also kawaii!!!!!! Maybe I'm gonna play the zero series this summer because horror games make me chilly!!!!!!!
It is saidIn spring one sleeps a sleep that knows no dawn." It is summer now, but I saw a few sleeping people today.
By the way, when I hear kawaii characters, I recall Hikonyan. I think it is one of the cutest characters in japan. If I go to Shiga prefecture, I'll buy its doll.
Is Danganronpa interesting? I don't watch it. I watch ShingeiNoKyojin, RozenMaiden,MonogatariSeries2d, UtyoutenKazoku, and WatashigaMotenai in this season.
I've not played game version of Danganronpa but it's animation is so-so. To add to it , in this season, I watch Attack on Titan(Shingeki), Monogatari, Railgan, Kiniromosaic, LoveLab, Servent Service. Um,,,, I wonder sinse when I become to see this many anime.
May I ask you a question, ok? Kiniromosaic, LoveLab and Servent Service are interesting? Of course, you are probably watching them because they are interesting, but this season have only just begun, so you might regard now as a trial period.
I like those anime. It's about daily life ( Kiniro and Lovelab is in school and Sevent is in workplace) and not FF or sciense. I love that kind of stuff so if you so, you would like thouse too.
I like the theme song for Attak on Titan(Shingeki). The other day I listened to its great arrangement for the piano. I was deeply impressed, so I want to practice it.
To tell the truth,I came from the future. Those who came from future always pretend to be contemporary person. I am one of them. By using futuristic technology,I made many people insane lol
Well,I think many people will ignore this message. But it is very convenient for me. :-)
It is no use learning any foreign languages lol Because automated translating machine will be invented in the future. Many english teachers were fired and became NEET lol
Currently I'm watching Watamote, Rozen, Danganronpa, Shingeki, Conan, and Uchuu Kyodai. Shingeki is too slow so I'm getting bored of it. The manga is great though. Danganronpa is so-so. I only watch it for Monokuma and Nobuyo. The latest 3 episodes of Uchuu Kyodai were wonderful. I cried like a baby. It's definitely a must-see anime.
>>821 Essentially, I could do that for you, but if I do, the destiny of the future will chage in one way or another and cause serious damage. So, I want you to be happy getting lots of money, but I just cannot.. sorry.....
Actually I'm not lazy at all. Looking back on it, I think I've been enforcing my self all the time, I worth some freedom...
>>828 I don't care what repercussion will happen because my life was over loooong time ago!!!!!!!! I DON'T FUCKING CARE ABOUT THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE Just kidding
Grrrr im hungry now! I think I need some steaks.....
Today I went to seven eleven and I got some breads. One of them is an "eel shaped bread" because I can't eat eel.... They taste like shit and I hate the texture as well! Also I freaking don't understand why eel is so freaking expensive!!!!!!! Well either way I don't buy eel because I hate the taste lol
>>783 I am totally with you. I feel the same. People like you I treasure the most. People with innocence and a love of family and nature. Please do something and make precious memories like that yourself. I just love what you whave written here.
I was born and raised in a small island in Nagasaki. As a child, nature was my playground. I sometimes remember a scene where I pick flowers with a little girl in a field of rape blossoms. This is my treasure.
>>841 I highly recommend 3D white strips! You can't buy this in japan so I recommend ヤフオク or eBay! Because its actually a lot cheaper than other importing stores.
I don't think it's strange to fix your teeth in 40s but I guess here in japan people are not used to getting braces so maybe people find it a bit strange. I'm in still college, after graduating and getting a job, I will definitely fix my teeth!!!
i found the article that recommend taking a dictation to develop the skill of listening English. there are already a lot of videos with their manuscripts on the internet. so i'm going to start taking a dictation with them for even only 10 minutes a day.
(i post here for the first time. moreover i post on 2ch in English for the first time. sorry for bad english)
The Korean football Association has been telling lies about their political performances. They made a false report to EAFF. Their aim seems to be "They are both to blame." They don't have self-clearing functions as as association at all.
World is not peace yet. Those who take thier eyes away from the fact are very irresponsible. Love and Peace are not free of charge. The world should begin to take Korean risk seriously. They are an enemy against the world peace. However, Japan has no intention of making war against Korea. Japanese are the most peaceful people on the earth, so we will fight verbally.
This thread is in Japna. Japan is under war without wepons. Foreigners might as well know such a situation. Love is important but ,at the same time, to protect "Love" from Korean ,the "Love"destroyer, is very important, too.
There are many others Korean polluted London Olympic. Japanese think London Olympic was a dirty Olympic. Money power was victory.
【Judo】 Ebinuma(海老沼) Japan-Korea judo quarterfinal ( Japan won, but it put a nasty taste.) 【Football】 Michel Morganella(Switzerland) was a victim. 【Fencing】 A Korean player continued a sit-in. 【Swiming】 A korean swimmer was disqualified for a premature start( mechanical judgment) →Korean protest→go(Why? The Judgement is mechanical!!!) →silver medal at the end 【Badminton】 The four pairs (one is Korean pair) were disqualified for not making their best efforts to win. 【Headphone】 Beats By Dr. Dre was prohibited. 【Olympic village】 stalker and many others.
Not only London Opympic , but also too many many many many many many many mnay things were defiled and will be defiled by Korean. They are enemy against Love and Peace.
I'm wondering why typical Japanese usually use difficult words. Let's try to make a sentence with easier words in English than before. Making communication with foreigners will make more intuition and knowledge than they used to be. Don't be afraid to make mistake! Don't you think so?
I live in Osaka, Japan. The Osaka plain is almost like a basin, surrounded with ranges of mountains on three sides. So it's hot and humid here. The temperature highs are 34 to 36 degrees Centigrade every day these days.
I was brought up in Osaka and have lived there most of my life. But I think I understand why some (or many) people hate us. For one thing, they say we are much too concerned about money. People even seem to fear us.
And one of the participants to this forum even says we are "vulgar." I don't blame them. We are so characteristic and expressive that some people, especially the people in eastern Japan (Kanto and Tohoku) seem to tend to feel uncomfortable with us.
>>888 you are right. I used this thread every day before old hag appeard and typed long and boring crap, but after they appeared, I come to use this thread less and less.
Smartphones are revolutionary. They have changed my life drastically, just like they have changed the lives of others. But some people seem to be concerned about the possible adverse effects of Smartphones on the lives of people. They say that there are some people who are easily addicted to the Internet.
I don't think Smartphones are that harmful. I think that, if Smartphones affect some people's lives adversely, their lives would have been adversely affected anyway even if there were no Smartphones in the world.
When TV arrived in society several decades ago, people feared that TV would make the whole population of Japan idiotic, saying "一億蒼白痴化".
However, I dare say that people leading their lives in an organized way with a firm sense of purpose can take advantage of Smartphones and similar gadgets in ways favorable to their lives.
I myself use Smartphones not for the purpose of killing my time, playing Internet games, reading comics, or things like that. I use Smartphones to consult dictionaries (Japanese-language and English- language ones), encyclopedias, watch educational videos on YouTube, and many other things to educate myself instead of fooling around.
To me, the Smartphone is a goddess who has come to this world to educate me.
Korean wish a huge earthquake would destroyed Japan. Korean are metal patients. I recognaized the limitations of the democratic society and human beings. Even democracy cannot educate Korean.
I'm here, but there are few responses in this thread these days, so I become not to see this thread so often.
Anyway, we Japanese should learn the correct way to deal with Korea. We Japanese shoudn't think that it's best to get along with Korea, because that country alway do nothing but complain with Japan, I mean , it doesn't stand up in the basis of fundamental communication.
In conclusion, the best way to cope with Korea is to keep good distance with, and not to relate to that country.
"Ladies first" is a very shit thing in Japan. Foreigners even in Japan say Japanese men don't do ladies first. I won't do ladies first. If a Japanese woman tells me to do so, I would give her a very long lecture about the equality of the sexes.
>>918 I guess you're right. When I was younger, I used to think that Western men take better care of women than Japanese men do. I don't any longer. On the contrary, I have now realized that it's Japanese men who take much better care of women than their Western counterparts do.
Japanese men let their wives manage their mutual economics. They give the whole of their wages to their wives and, when they need pocket money for themselves, say, money for their cigarettes, lunches, and expenses for going drinking with their colleagues, they ask their wives for some money. Western men, on the other hand, keep all their monthly salary to themselves and gives a little money every day to their wives to manage the household even if the wives are dedicated housewives who don't have jobs outside.
Japan is a very female domination country. The equality of the sexes can't be judgede only by the numbers. The proportion of women in managerial posts is not important at all.
I've been considering getting a circumcision. Are there anyone who got a circumcision? Is that worthwhile? Was that painful? I think cut dick looks so much better
>>922 Why a circumcision? For religious purposes or to cure your phimosis? If it is for religious purposes, then it should be great to get a circumcision and join your religious community as a full-fledged member. If you want to cure your phimosis to become able to have sex without difficulty, then that should be great too.
I myself have never got a circumcision, but one of my friends have got one. He says something along these lines: The operation doesn't hurt at all, because you get anesthetized in advance. He enjoyed a great sex life afterwards. In any case, if you have complete phimosis, you have no choice but to get a surgical operation if you want to have sex.
[Quote] Constitution of Carolina Appraisals of Locke have often been tied to appraisals of liberalism in general, and also to appraisals of the United States. Detractors note that (in 1671) he was a major investor in the English slave- trade through the Royal African Company, as well as through his participation in drafting the Fundamental Constitutions of Carolina while Shaftesbury's secretary, which established a feudal aristocracy and gave a master absolute power over his slaves. For example, Martin Cohen notes that as a secretary to the Council of Trade and Plantations (1673–4) and a member of the Board of Trade (1696–1700) Locke was, in fact, "one of just half a dozen men who created and supervised both the colonies and their iniquitous systems of servitude".[24] Some see his statements on unenclosed property as having been intended to justify the displacement of the Native Americans.[25][26] Because of his opposition to aristocracy and slavery in his major writings, he is accused of hypocrisy and racism, or of caring only for the liberty of English capitalists.[27] [Unquote] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Locke
>>925 It's for sanitary purposes, not religious purposes. In japan, basically people don't get circumcision because basically we are not Christian, muslim nor Jews. BUT some people get it for self satisfaction. For example, uncut cock looks childish and dirty I mean not hygienic you know?
I have no problems with sex but I seriously want to get it done! I know this sounds so stupid!
>>927 Oh, I see. So you don't have any problems with your sex life and yet you want to get a circumcision because you believe it'll get you more sanitary, huh? But, you know, you can always keep your penis and testicles hygienic by washing them when taking a bath. You just peel off the penis skin and wash away all the dirt and scum with soap and water, scrubbing them with a towel. I myself have always been doing so every single day during bath time ever since I was, say, 20 or so.
As for how uncut dicks look, well, I don't know. I don't think they look childish at all. But it's all up to you. If you think uncut dicks look childish and dirty, then I suggest you get a circumcision. The operation shouldn't cost that much.
Sign I want a new wallet and new clothes and to whiten my teeth and remove moles on my face and pass the toured guide exam and travel abroad and study abroad and enjoy beach and get some tan.... Life is hard you know?
High-rise hookers AT $240 an hour, these Korean sex workers could have worked off their fines before dinner yesterday, after appearing in a Southport court for illegal prostitution. The ad identified the sex workers as a 'uni party girl, just 18, Japanese, natural 36D, perfect backside'.
↑ This is a typical Korean disount Japan activity. Korea is Japanese enemy.
・ Nanking and 731 are true history. ・ Japan invated Asia. ・ Japan was evil during WW2. ・ Whaling and dolphing are bad things. ・ The "Comfort women issue", Korean insist, is ture. ・ The attack on Pearl Harbor was an evil of Japan. ・ History should be written by winners. ・ Tokyo trail was the court of justice, not victor's justice. ・ I am not genius.
Today I came across this white gaijin and talked to me ewww which made me so disgusted like who the hell do you think you are? I was like You are white. You white have absolutely no rights to talk to japanese! Maybe I should have said these!
The world is not peace yet. The reason is because the world have not keep up with the logical thinking like Japanese people. (Of course, there are a lot of left wing kichigai in Japan, )
According to weather information, “It’s too hot in this summer. Beware of heatstroke.”
The temperature of this summer is only between 30 and 40 degrees. I guess, it’s not high temperature rather than tropical regions!! I wonder why TV weather information always announces about “hot hot hot!!”.
And I guess that it’s natural to hot due to summer season!!
I hate japan! Such a shameless and arrogant country! Fuck japs you should apologise sincerely and pay compensation money for the victims of the sex slaves by the Japanese military! We will never forget what you fucking yellow monkey did for us in the past until you japs try to make an effort to solve this problem!
>>940 You have no ID. Are you living in Japan? If you are not German, please refrain from using that name. Germans are the Master Race, and people of lesser races are not allowed to use that name. By the way, >>941 is a korean. A korean and a German shoudln't be in the same thread. Avoid contact with lesser beings. Preserve your pedigree.
>>945 I'm not Korean! How can you be so sure?! WTF?!!!! By the way, somehow japanese are under the illusion that they are superior to Koreans but in actual fact, Koreans are physically and intellectually, superior!
>>947 Ha that's funny! Just listen to the terrible stories from the victims of the sex slaves! How can you deny this fact? This problem is not only in Korea but also Taiwan mainland china the Philippines etc etc
Can you just say "sex slave is a fabrication" in the face of these victims?
there're many evidences. if u want to see it, u have to search around web site. sex slave is a fabrication by Korea.
i think, it's okay to break diplomatic relations with Korea again. Japan is not difficulty even if break. but Korea will have difficulty, won't you? i strongly support to break diplomatic relations for together.
By the way, I heard this when i was in college.( i reluctantly took German as a second language LOL) beer in Germany is cheaper than other beverages. Is that true?
Japan was fighting with very strong countries at that time in order to defense both ourselves and lovers.
Korean had plundered Japanese territory of Takeshima when Japan had been beaten by strong countries. I guess, Korea looks like so deplorable country because they are not able to fight any other enemies due to weakly.
Korea, shout up. You really look like disgraceful about your behavior to Japan. Japan had fought very strong countries but you can’t because of weak. This is truth history!!
Shut the fuck up you fucking yellow money japs!!! You need to look up on Germans who are really sorry for their atrocities in the past and have been trying to promote peace. On the contrary, you japs have no compunctions about your incredibly terrible histories and never apologised at once and never paid compensation money! If you really want to develop harmony in Asia and want to be trusted, you japs should immediately apologise and pay compensation money for all Asian countries which you japs invaded in WW2!
>>963 Unfortunately, he(she) doesn't know truth history. i wonder why Korean haven't got a fighting history until today!! Please consider more and more. i tell u because Korea is very weak therefore Korea can't defense themselves and lovers. What a wretched country Korea!!
Actually Korea fought during WW2 and defeated japan along with the United States! U need to learn the TRUE history well maybe you can't because your retarded government has censored these information which is unfavourable for japs lol
Today I went to a library to study and also enjoy free air conditioning lol I saw so many students there and felt like I was a student as well because literally ton of students I really missed good old days... I didn't like being a high school student at that time though....
