Hey!!! you NEETs, nerds, YouTube-link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis, Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers, Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters, Big-boobs fans, Weeaboos from all over the world, learners of Japanese who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, cunning linguists, stupid fan girls of Johnny's Boys, and an electrical super gay who suffers from mental disease And let's hope the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!

Yamamoto believes that in Japan, where men used to wear kimono in everyday life, the difference between men and women has been blurred and men nowadays are relatively free from dress standards based on gender stereotypes.

Sparky is 1) a Panamanian American 2) uses dear old shitty windows ME 3) lives in a state called Louisiana 4) has a big dark secret 5) and it's that he's a gay
>>38 No, not nude, light clothes that are elegant.I know he posed for An-An, but only suggestive poses, none like what Akanishi or Yamapi did. He has topless seaside or bedside photos but they don't count. I am talking about fashionable light elegant clothes that would shock a little... Like light silk tunics with cuts in the right places. He could look amazing because he has a curvy body and sculpted face. He mmakes me smile,,,,,
Have you tried lottery? On this Wednesday, After buying an electric dictionary at certain household appliances store, I passed by a shop sells lotteries near the household appliances store and got one idea that try a lottery. So, I bought a lottery for 200 yen and scratched silver seals by my 10yen. And then, a miracle came to me after scratched all. I found out the lottery was forth prize, 1000yen. I was so glad because I hadn't got money by some lotteries before.
The fact of the matter is the nuclear crisis is far from being over. But people in Tokyo don't seem much worried. At least not as much as foreign residents. I think we have something of an immunity to nuclear fear. But anyway I feel really sorry for people who had to evacuate.
>>55 Bush, Jr. changed it. Google "Energy Policy Act of 2005" But the change was not that drastic as you think. Current one is just three-weeks earlier than the previous.
>>59 Oh, thanks for the info! I thought it was from a lot later than March, say in June but actually it was just a three weeks later in the previous system.
I now also know that that when summer time ends is one week later. Thanks!

That's too bad. I'm wondering what it's like to be without electricity, for three hours at night.
The only reason I can think of why my city was spared was maybe because there's a lot of hospitals here...
BTW, it seems kind of unfair that only Adachi and Arakawa are having the blackouts while the other wards in Tokyo, like Setakgaya and Nerima, originally in the plan, were spared.

And the thing is, as you know, this power outage will continue well into summer, when power consumption is expected to be double the current level. The idea of being without air-conditioning in the sweltering afternoon heat of Tokyo for hours is just appalling.
>>74 This blackout thing is really irksome, hampering not only work at office but living in general. It'd be quite alright if it were one time event, you know, but you should be prepared for this almost every day...
I think the unfairness you mentioned will give extra stress to those who undergo this unusual long-term inconvenience it causes.
>>93 As you might know, the subject of a sentence in Japanese is often omitted and in this lyrics, it's hard to guess what the subject is. So, We/I/(general)You/I/my/our can be the subject of a sentence below. If two translations are possible, I show the both dividing by / such as "What do you say?/What can I say?" I'm not a pro translator so don't believe my translation 100%. Enjoy! -------------
We'll go/move dorward, having other people take things over My/our life is the one in which I have other people take things over What do you say?/What can I say? Don't say anything. The moon tonight is also beautiful.
Following other people's words, going along I/We/You feel tired becasue of that. It's bad for your health. That's obvious. So obvious. If that's the case, I/We/you should view the moon.
>>93 (Cont.) The smell of the darkness of night, it's so nice. The view of goose flying away, a drop of the moon
We'll move forward/go, having other people take things over My/our life is the one in which I have other people take things over What do you say? Don't say anything The moon tonight is also beautiful.
People's mind changes so quickly. If you're in too much festive mood, you'll get the short end. But I don't care. I don't mind. The moon is also beautiful tonight.
The feeling you snuggle up to night is so nice. Clouds float away because of winds. A drop of the moon.
Reapeating some lines already transalted above.....
>>95 You are such a darling! Thank you very much. The lyrics are so meaningful. Japanese know how to get it right both sound and lyrics-wise. I just love Japanese pop music. It is unique! You are a great translator, thanks again!
>>102 Your welcome and thank you for your compliment. Happy to know you enjoy it.
Just to clarify, "drop" in "a drop of the moon" is the same as a drop as in a a drop of water, although the moon isn't liquid. Regarding lyrics, every poetic expression can go and sometimes it doesn't make sense.
I meant to say the expression isn't about the moon falling down or anything.
>>105 Thanks, yes, I do get the literary meaning . >>106 Yes, I have an elementary level understanding of Japanese, so I can match the lyrics as I read. Singing along is a great way to learn any language.
>>110 I will work hard and learn many Japanese songs by then,,,, is there a song you would wnat me to try to sing? No Noriaki or Samwell(well he has no Japanes songs anyway) please!
>>114 Since you like Kyonkyon, you can sing whatever songs of hers you like. Some girls who love Johnny's boys sing their song when they go to Karaoke, so you can sing Kame's song, too. I'll dance around you while you are on mic. w
I am still trying to go to Japan this summer and help the tsunami victims. There are a lot of volunteers now, but there won't be so many this summer. I have heard there are some things going on in Tokyo for volunteering too. But either way I need to find a way to pay for the trip...
Or do you think gay is normal, but super gay is extreme or going overboard? If he pretends not to be a gay, do you think he tends to be in a mental pain?
I think he's in agony if he knows he's hiding something that people around already noticed. Do you think I should ask him to tell the truth or let him keep the secret?
As someone who experienced the earthquake, I'd like to express my appreciation to you for what you're planning on doing this summer. Considering the scale of the damage caused by the earthquake and resulting tsunami, it will probably take much longer than anybody would ever imagine for the affected areas to be back to what they were used to be (if that's even possible). Those victims will still be needing a lot of help this summer. I also hear there's some volunteering thing going on in Tokyo. If I can afford the time and money, I'd like to join it. One thing I know for sure though is that if I take part in the volunteering, I'll have to prepare things I need for myself beforehand. Foods, clothes, water, the tickets, and stuff like that. A volunteer without enough food to tide himself over only ends up making another victim, is what I'm trying to say. But at any rate, thanks for your kind consideration.
What do you think if he doesn't admit? Say, he says he's not a gay and that he likes cute boys. He describes himself as something different - homosexual.. What do you think I should do? Help him say the truth?
Google this sentence "Sparky is a gay homosexual" and 128 pages will be found (FYI no 2ch pages included) , which means he's considered a gay on the internet.. He should let us know..
I wonder if gay people are not always homosexual. Sometimes gay boys like girls? A gay person like him simply wears a pink bra and a pink skirt and speaks softly and gently, yet that doesn't mean he likes boys? What's your definition of the word "gay"?
My initial definition of "gay" would be "fun". But sexually speaking, someone whose sexual preference is both for men and women is considered to be bisexual, instead of gay. It's funny when you mention that gay people only wear pink bras and pink skirts. That's pretty an old fashioned type of image one could have for gay people. With that notion, someone like Hayashiya Pee should be going to be a gay.
I suggest that residents whose house were swallowed by tsunami shouldn't build their houses on the same place again. I understand it's tough decision, and that means they abondon their hometowns and move to other towns and lots of towns disappear from a map, but that's what they have to do.
In Chili earthquake, about 50 years? ago, the same things happened and a lot of houses were swallowed and washed away. (Yeah, Chili is far away from Japan, but Tsunami caused by that reached all the way to Japan and swallowed lots of Japanese coastal towns, where this time tsunami hit.) After the quake, they build up high dikes/banks but they didn't work (not enough hight) for this even more massive tsunami.
Now is the time they decide, they don't build new houses the same place. It's well known, and obcvious that the same big scale quake happens every hundred year or so. If they build their house there, it means, their decendants will suffer the same amount of death toll in the future.
If he can's say he likes boys because of social pressure his community put him under, what should he do to release his true passion and emotion? He doesn't deserve any mental pain like that.
>>132 That's a hard question. I just wanted to say you can't control your instinctive desire easily. I'm happy to be straight!(My preference for women is not so straight though.)
>>130 Thanks for your support of my support. Where do you live and would be flying from? Plane tickets are expensive. And I would be sure to be prepared, but also remember that me being there and buying food and drinks and stuff is helping out the Japanese economy as well.
but almost my girlfriends denied to sex with me because of my penis size as japanese. they said it causes big damage of pussy, so i oftenly finished by her hand job. big penis as japanese is fucking troublesome itself. but 18cm penis is not too big size for foreign people right?
>>148 I live in the Kansai district, the western part of Honsyu (the main island). The place I live in is about 400 kilometers west of Tokyo, if you draw a straight line between the two points on the map and calculate the distance. If I'm going out to Tokyo from my place, I'll have to take a Shinkansen, the bullet train, to get there. Cars or busses can take me there, too. Not as comfortable as when you go by train, though. Since my place is in the vicinity of one of the major urban areas, there should be the same or a similar volunteering thing here as in Tokyo, I suppose. I'll need to do some research on that later. Certainly your buying things in Japan will be a good incentive to boost the sinking economy, but let me remind you that after some news reports about the nuclear power plants emitting alarming levels of radiation, more and more people are evacuating from the warned areas. Plus, gasoline’s getting pretty sparse even in my area. Gas stations in my town are all closed at night now, for the sake of the affected areas. If you need to get something in Japan, I suggest buying somewhere away from those areas, a city where people are still leading normal lives.
>>152 No, that length is also much longer than most foreigners'.
>>153 Are you natively Japanese? It's hard to say from your English. You could be American or British or something, but your romanisation of Honshu as Honsyu is very Japanese. Anyway thank you for the advice. I hope that by the time that I go the markets will be more stable.
>>148 If air fare is the problem. I have an idea. You can row a boat across the Pasific. But before that, you have to hitchhike across the American continent to the West coast.
You have no time to waste. You have to start tomorrow to make it to Japan by summer. Pack your suitcase now and stand on the street with busy traffic for hitchhike tomorrow!
>>157 too bad. that length is almost the same length of mine when it's normal or even when it's less than normal. it's easy to guess how you're feeling when being laid with a woman and she is complaining of the size of your thing. one of my ex girlfriends always said "it's not the size, but labor of love that makes a woman reach orgasm" or words to that effect. not that she was ragging on me. looks like that "saying" is for you!
>>161 i would say it's a gene related thing. i'm not so sure about the size of my father's though. but as far as i remember, his was normal. not as small as 11cm, but not bigger than 18cm either. and i'd have to add that your viewpoints on the size thing is quite nice. sort of like an eye opener, actually.
>>132 If I were Spargay, the answer would be clear. He would agree with same sex marriage because he has the right to do whatever he wanted to do. With a gay boyfriend who agreed to marry him, Spargay would propose to him no matter what. The problem, however, is that Spargay is a shy gay. We should support him more.
Hmm, shy gay... I see. How many boyfriends did Spargay have in the past? Possibly he didn't ask out any boys so far. I'm not sure if he prefers Japanese boys to American/Panamanian boys. He should try his best to get a Panamanian boy at first.
Of course not. The problem is, however, when he can't tell others he's a gay he'll have a mental problem. That's it. In this respect, Spargay is saved from this problem thanks to the Internet.
Today, I saw an expert was saying about the Japanese people's reaction to the expansion of radiation from the Fukushima plant..on tv.. He said, currently the problem is 日本国民の理科音痴が問題であって… (about how to understand or interpret the goverment's annoucement of subtleness/or greatness of contamination level..)
>>92 Today I met a colleague married to a Japanese lady, and she was surprised that I ate natto for breakfast sometimes. Nori is commonly sold in most chain supermarkets and Chinese/Korean food shops because British people love sushi. It is very healthy and delicious food. Much healthier than sandwiches. Pre-packed sushi is sold in supermarkets and sandwich shops. Okonomiyaki; I learnt how to make it from the internet. Kewpie mayonnaise is the best, it is much lighter and tastier for sandwiches and okonomiyaki. I wouldn't put it on my natto though. Natto with raw organic egg is the best. I love Japanese beers because of their good quality. I guess I love Sapporo brew because it is lighter than Asahi or Kirin. I am not a good judge on Sake yet,,,However I really love organic Japanese green tea. However I cannot read the Kanji on the package to tell you which one.
>>182 deficiency in understanding scientific issue? >>183 .. kinda surprised to hear.. British people take sushi is much healthier than sandwiches (in America, i guess people generally don't like the black color of "Nori" around the Maki sushi, then nori is being removed from the outer circumference of Sushi Maki ..generally sold in US..)
>>183 I am an expat so I do not count. so my opinions do not reflect that of the general British public. Generally it is the younger generation of Brits who are more open to international experiences. Thanks to cheap airlines they travel a lot so their horizons are wider compared to the older generation. In the past they travelled to conquer, now they realise there is more to the world than dominating some nation.
>>183 i know sushi is popular worldwide. i know the episode that Andy Murray went a supermarket after the long match at wimbledon and got sushi (sushi was only food remain unsold at the supermarket). but i have not known nori was also popular. okonomiyaki is popular especially in kansai area. takoyaki's taste seems to similar at almost any shops, but okonomiyaki's taste is differ from shop to shop. okonomiyaki's taste is much dependent on chef's skills and recipe. you eat raw egg?? i am japanese but i can't eat raw egg except for sukiyaki.
>>185 last year when I visited NY, I stayed in a house of a young black girl from Latin America ..who showed me that she has similar interest in Japanese food- like yours. She said she is often viewing Japanese tv dramas, and remembering some Japanese words.. She eats Nori or sips green tea..bought in Korean market, and trying to make Sushi..She said "Omelet" in Japanese is "Tamagoyaki"? etc.. (It looked like it all comes from viewing tv..) I know in US, people of all the races loves Sushi also. I also met a Brit guy of African decent who makes nice Sushi, since he worked at belt-conveyer sushi shop in London..
>>183 I met a girl from Eastern europe who is very fond of Kamenashi and Japanese drama and loves sashimi. I occasionally see British youths dressed as Naruto and Sasuke on the streets and am not surprised. Bookshops are full of anime CDs, BL, Shojo manga. The internet is spreading global cultures faster than you can blink your eye. It is not only Japan but every country has something that world's youth is fond of. Suddenly people want to learn Tango, drink popular Brazillian coffee brands and eat Kimchi. Then it is Thai food, Finnish porcelain and French pop songs. This is all because of the internet methinks. But also young British people are adventurous perhaps.
>>180 I would be confused when faced with a gay, but I don't have anything against gays. I would make it clear that I like girls, though, just in case.
Let's say I run a blog about something Japanese in Japanese and I want people abroad to read my blog entries. But translating all entries to English is tough so let's say I ask English speaking readers to make a request which entries they want to read in English.
Let's say I get such a request. In this example, is it natural to say "This entry will be transalted to English soon. So stay tuned."? What I want to ask is "Stay tuned" is OK in this context. Also, are there better ways of saying "This entry will be transalted to English soon." in this context? Thanks.
>>195 There is no better way to say it, but there are plenty of different ways: "This entry will be translated into English soon." This entry will soon be translated into English. The entry is being translated into English, and the translation will be made available soon."
Also, observe that it is not 'transalted', but 'translated'.
>>195 Yea that's fine, just be sure to write "translated". "Stay tuned" in the context of a website is a sort of pun, as the phrase only really works for television shows, but it's common enough.
>>182 I'd say "lack of understanding of science" or "ignorance of science" or something.
Now that everyone noticed he's a gay, he still can't admit that. He said he hated being a boy because he loved cute boys. Guess it's really tough to come out...even on the internet. We should be more supportive. Don't leave him alone. He needs help. He's a lonely shy gay.
This 3 minute video was shot by a patrol vessel of Japan's Coast Guard on March 11th when the big quake happened that shook wide areas of Japan. The photo of the vessel is just above the video. Not so big vessel as you can see.
In the video you can see a series of Tsunami that hit and devastate coastal areas of Japan. I think you've seen footages of tsunami swallowing coastal towns. The series of tsunami shot in the video is the very cause of the tragedy.
In the video someone says, "10m," which is 32 feet. Probably there's a device that can measure the hight of wave and with that, they measured the tsunamis. On the side note, tsunami and high wave are completely different things.
According to the article I read just now, Tanaka of Kat-tun paid a visit to Miyagi pref and encourage disaster victims IN PRIVATE. What about Kamenashi?

Hold back your Slim Shady and stop verbal abuses, or else, I'll put your house under power outage and send to your house Candle Jun to light up your house.
Free online discussion forums, like this one- is very useful and important for world people to exchange opinions. Each participator can put the links of important news articles which one could find across the Internet world.., and people can follow the development of ongoing issues, keeping critical mind.. But the fact is, recently the newspaper sites are increasingly restricting their readers' discussion forum spaces mostly for budgetary reasons, or maybe the forums’ quality is getting deteriorated. Although- since the 911.. while War on Terror was going on, discussion forums were heated, meaningful place on Internet, lately they just shut down the places one after another.. I cannot put up with being deprived of these useful information pools, but in Japan there is no place for exchanging such high quality discussions online like you used to find on the Internet in Western countries. As you may know 2ch is only a lower community.. not really recommendable place to everyone..and we cannot really expect quality discussions joined by intellectual people. I don’t know why the situation remains like this..
>>242 Well it is still possible to carry out intelligent and scholarly discussions here. Just tell them what you want to discuss, and surely there will be a good response. The problem is you have to think of the participants' diverse interests. Too many significant events are taking place in various parts of the world, and keeping in touch with reality takes time and effort. Unless someone is well immersed into reading the news, it is hard to keep track of everything. Because there are too many things happening, the attention span on one issue will likely to be short. Usually dialogues last longer between two persons interested in the same topic,,,,
>>249 He's a what's called self proclaimed candle artist married with Ryoko Hirosue. In this hard time without enough electricity in Tokyo metropolitan area, because of nuke power plants' accident, he can be a hero of Tokyoites. He's already Igirisu-jin's hero, though.
>>251 I'm not sure if he makes candles on his own. All I know is that he's kind of an artsit who creats good atmosphere at night to satisfy event organizer's needs with candlelights.
He picks up candles in various size and shape and place them effectvely to create good ambience.
Candle Jun has large tatoos and enormous horn-shape pierce in his earlobe. The way he looks is often joked about. Nobody heard about him until he met Ryoko Hirosuke, famous actress and married with her. The marriage for her is the second marriage. I don't know if it was the first or second one for Candle Jun. Igirisu-jin used to or still like Ryoko Hirosue. Her innocent smile stole his heart.
Say, if you invite a gorgeous boy like Kame over to your home and want to creat a good atomosphere, that's where Candle Jun comes in. Although it must cost really much to hire him for personal use. I wonder if he can make ends meet just by Candle artist business in the first place.
>>252 I looked up Hirosue and can see the attraction. She has a boyish, innocent charm and is really pretty. The candle man looks like he is in the know, that is why the childish insecure actress married him.
Despite his looks Kame is not innocent at all. He must be the most sinful baby ever,,, I cannot afford to invite him - too rich and sexy.
Have a restful sleep without earthquakes. Good night from ENgland.
Today is my last working day.(Do you remember I told all you I decided to quit my current part-time job for studying hard in university and interschool?). So, I will miss all my seniors but manager and chief.
Anyway, tomorrow has the event, April fool. But, in fact, you hardly tell some lies to someone such as your friends, your family in the day so that you're not interested in the event? I can't make some lies make people believe seriously. Rather, I shouldn't do such silly thing. haha.
>>267 Seems like no matter the amount of radiation I get I can never get a good tan. But being fair-skinned is supposed to be a good thing here, right?
What I want to ask you is whether both "deal" in the headline, "Britney Spears 'wanted for Las Vegas deal'" and "draw" in "Britney would be an even bigger draw." have double meaning or only deal or only draw (=either one) has a double meaning.
I know "deal" is a set of card you have and "draw" is a card delivered to you by a dealer which becomes a card that becomes a part of your "deal" when playing a card game.
So "deal" in the headline means both contract($100m ) and a set of card when you play a card game? And "draw" in the sentense means both a big attraction (to tourists to Vegas) and a card a dealer give to you during a card game?
>>280 The "draw" one looks like it's supposed to be a pun but it's sort of awkward because it's not completely clear whether they're comparing her to a card game. The first one might be a pun but it would be pretty bad if it were. It sounds weird for a news report to use a pun like that.
>>278 Sunlight is radiation and that gives you a tan, so maybe plutonium does too.
One day the gays will come back. all of them. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see.
>>305 wwww hilarious, but the one with the "modified" tail looks more like Koki! how come you know so much about KAT-TUN nanashi, don't tell me you like that sort of music...
>>280 The noun "Deal" is some sort of agreement, like a contract. The verb "to deal" is what you would use for the act of giving cards to players in a card game (cards are dealt by the Dealer) A set of cards you have been dealt is called a 'hand', not a 'deal'. Only the verb applies to card games. You're right about 'draw', though. That word can be used either as a noun or verb in both cases. ("I get to draw a card" vs "I got a bad draw") ("Britney can draw a crowd" vs "There was a huge draw for the event"). As nanashi said, that could very well be a (bad) pun.
My intestine convulsed horribly this morning, and there gushed out, with uncontrollable force, from my asshole a tremendous quantity of liquefied faeces giving off a foul stench.
When it comes to reporting the earthquake disaster in Japan, foreign media's sensationalism has been annoying- but lately I'm moved by that other countries people really try to cheer us up, sending many hearty messages, material aids and reliefs..to us. I think we should thank these good-hearted people.
I'd like introduce this unique school song, Habatake mirai he (Fly high to the future in English) for Syouyou high school. This song is written and composed by Tatsuo Kamon, a Japanse famous comic singer well-known for Hana kara gyunyu(Milk from nose), Kaeuta medley(Parody song medley). Well, the point this song is unique is having English words. All Japanese school songs except this don't have such English words. So, I want all you to listen to this song. Below is it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nji_xTO1EWk
I'm gonna write translation of it after posting this for all you.
Habateke mirai he(translated by Umechi) written and composed by Tatsuo Kamon
With your dreams you figured out, with your tenderness to people With joy of everyday with your friends, with shining of your bright eyes Think what you wanna do, think what you can do Think what you are good at, think what's your fascination
Making your dreams come true is to go your way all by yourself I'm sure that the more you endeavor, the bigger delightness will be
So fly high to the bright future, make yourself shine in the future Go over today with great brave, soaking up the sunshine
Now get a chance you can do it That's what you do reach for the sters Hope for tomorrow gonna be all right Dreams come true never give up
You never know unless you try, when you try you'll know Find answer all by yourself, you can get it by walking Think where you should go, think what's your good point Think you always give up easily, think you alway live in your life with great confidence
Living in your good enough life is to open various doors, to go away without abandoning your all hope, and not to avoid troubles in
So fly high to the bright future, make yourself shine in the future Go over distance with great brave, soaking up the sunshine
Now get a chance you can do it That`s what you do reach for the sters Hope for tomorrow gonna be all right Dreams come true never give up
Lalala... Lalala... Lalala... Go your way all by yourself Lalala... Lalala... Lalala... we all can see bright future

Sparky is a gay. That's a well known fact to people here. We should appeal to the world that gay people like him have the same right as that of others. We should protect Sparky from oppression and peer pressure. Sparky should remain as he is now. He's a gay, a super gay. That's now what he chose, but what he naturally is. Don't make him change. He likes boys. If a boy he likes also likes boys, we will see a happy couple. I bet Sparky and KazuKata will make a good couple.
Sparky is living in Louisiana now. he was born somewhere in Panama. So he will be back there eventually.
He misses Panama so much. He feels so lonely he's homesick. I'm not sure that turned him into a gay, though. ANyway, it'd be best for him to find a Panamanian boyfriend. It'd heal him.
The first step you should take is to wear a pink bra and a skirt to school. The second is to cut your balls off. The third is to change your gender. We'll watch over you. Good luck.

One 2channelor stayed there waiting for his death. It's strange that the electricity is working there and traffic lights changes on and off.
It's rumored burglars sneaked in shops and houses because no one is watching now.
The husband of the lady in the vid above was watching the rescue scene on TV and thought it was their dog. The dog is two year old mix. The house of the family is partially damaged so they evacuated to shelter and has lived there since then. Now they decided to go back home so that they can live with the dog. The problem I think is it's said that it's harder to get foods than when you live in a shelter. If you live in a shelter, evacuees are provided with foods regularly but if you go back home, you have to find foods on your own.
There are still 20 or so dogs whose owners aren't found in a dog shelter.
Her floppy ears tell he is cross-breed. Japanese indigenous dogs generally have upstraight ears like spitz and wolf.
By the way, Spitz's vocalist Masamune Kusano fainted by acute stress disorer due to the jolts he experieced and news after news, then cancelled planned spitz's concert tour. How fragile and weak he is. LOL He is from southmost district Kyusyu and lives in Tokyo now. Tokyo's damages is almost nothing compared to the ones in North East Japan.
This time incident pretty matchs the images from his songs and his atmosphere. Kusano's songs feel very naive and sensitive to the things which others wouldnot care. His songs' "usefulness" is challenged in the time of the emergency.
We should lay our heads together to combat the millenium national crisis. It's time we borrow wisdoms from the best and brightes Japanese like Richard Koshimizu, Takahiko Soejima, Benjamin, Fulford(古歩道ベンジャミン). They are the intellectual jewels of Japan.
>>391 No I don't do Facebook friends because I am too busy with real ones.I don't blog either. However I do have a youtube channel or two. Do you have friends? Your persistantly abrasive remarks and aggresion makes me think you have a problem.

>>408 So far tokyo 23 wards except a couple of downtown wards are privilaged to be exempt from planned blackout(power outage). Hirosue must be living in a rich upper town area as long as I remember. Chiyoda ward, Minato ward and Tyuoh ward will be exempted forever in light of their importance to Japanese industry and politics. Hirosue seems to live in Setagaya Ward, which is mainly a high priceresidential area. So there is no gurantee Hirosue and Candle will be exmept from power outage.
>>409 My people are in Ota-Ku, will they be all right?
I heard Turtlepear used to live close to Daikanyama. I am not sure which ward he lives in, it must be a state secret. I guess it must be an expensive area.
I heard Turtlepear used to live close to Daikanyama. I am not sure which ward he lives in, it must be a state secret. I guess it must be an expensive area.
exactly. It's near Minato Ward and famous for fancy restaurants and fashionable shops. This area is far from Otaku culture.
Ah, sorry O-taku, not Otaku.. O-taku was once included in planned blackout areas but never has planned blackout been carried out in O-taku. Now O-taku is off the lists of Planned blacout areas.
O-taku is famous for Denenchofu, which is probably the most famous high-class residential area in Japan. O-taku is likely to be associated with Denenchofu. But most part of O-taku is busy and crowded areas for common people. Real O-taku is similar to Kawasaki-ku adjacent to O-taku. It's said we could see ヤンキー and bosozoku style in the areas near kawasaki.

By the way, I have recently experienced the strange ban once at another board. It was a long time since I posted there last time. The caution page saying nijna and something appears and I couldnot post. I shouldnot be the one restricted to post messages. Posting there was practically the first time. I got in a collateral damage.
Since old man is the opposite of kamenashi in her mind.
She must not like Sean Connery? Is he special amonog old men?
I don't know why he is so special and sexy. He doesnt even look typical English man either. His role of 007 is mystery to me. and praise about him. why? Roger Moore looks more fit with his role.
I guess chest hair was once the symbol of sexiness in western man. Taste for man is changing in the west, isn't it? Chest hair has been always gross in Japan. Chest hair in western movie is regarded as something joke.
At some boards you need to use ninja to be able to post. So I don't think you were banned there. But it is possible for you to be banned after you use ninja.
The ninja restriction is applied to minor hosts. I access internet at coffee shops in the US and the ninja thing happens once in a while. All you have to do is to wait until your host is registered at 2ch.
I laughed to death past midnight. If you didn't laugh reading this page (given that you understand Japanese,) you're a winner. The page includes photos so if you don't understand Japanese, you can enjoy it.
>>451 I guess a smooth criminal photoshop would make foreigners laugh even if they can't understanda English. I have seen his visit on TV and thought he looked different from ever before. His serious face was half-natural and half-oriented for voters.

I know 2ch is a place where you can be honest and say what you really think, whether good or bad, but I don't think you are honest or decent at all. I also find people like you immensely annoying however I would never ever take away their right to express themselves. (suiton or ban or whatever) I think that is called democracy.

I have a lot of respect for the hard working and resilient Japanese spirit. Even the 2ch NEET are highly intelligent and talented people. And they speak very good English! (because they always want to do their best).
How do you compare chavs and skinhead in England to 2ch neat? At least Skinhead can protectd you from swarthy aliens and can offer you a shelter. Thye are white warriors in modern world. 2ch neats are powerless and unreliable. Kamenashi can't do anything in front of sturdy white viking.

>>469 Japanese likes to take abstract nouns like glamour and cunning and make them into concrete nouns, like グラマー and カンニング. Glamour means beauty or charm (not referring to a person), a person like that would be a glamorous person. Similarly, "cunning" means either cleverness and sneakiness or a person or animal that is clever or sneaky (like a fox), but in Japanese it means to cheat on something, like a test.
Glamour and glamor are the UK and US ways of spelling, respectively.

Dear Japanese interested in English internet-speak, Don't make the same mistake as >>476 "Trolling" is a word that is derived from a type of fishing by the same name where bait is dragged through the sea with the hope that a fish will bite it. Trolling: ttp://www.wildplanetfoods.com/images/trolling_pic.png
Similarly, internet "trolling" is to present false or insincere information (bait) and see if anyone will believe you for an extended period of time. Often it means to pretend you hold an extreme viewpoint that you actually don't care about in an attempt to make other people angry.
"Trolling" does not mean to simply insult someone and get a reply or to make someone angry through legitamate argument.
" trolling" is often translated as 荒らし in Japanese. Judging from your comment, I think it's not appropriate to translate it as so. We use the word 荒らしin various contexts, so the meaning is more ambiguous than trolling.
I just chimed in. Although I'm a japanese, I was thinking the word "Trolls" in English web forums are not exactly "Arasshi" at all, either. First of all, Western people take "trolls" more comical, and kind of more sophisticated something, not like the harsh, uncivilized behaviors like the foolish & childish JP Internet term "Arashi" represents.. For example "trolls" already have some images like this: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=yfp-t-701-s&va=troll+face All you can see is these people are somewhat comical (although somewhat like convinced criminal,) It is actually cutier people than how your Arashi people are. I found even "Eijiro" is putting erroneous definitions on this matter, This is really rediculous. It only represents Japanese net culture is barbaristic and immature-
I just checked the english Wikipedia regarding the internet slang "troll", http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(Internet) As you can see, it refers as "a troll" is a kind of poster who sometimes would make "positive contribution" to the forums. I'd say it is different from the nature of simple "Arashi" in Japanese. It is not always destructive like Arashi in 2channels or whatever. But I actually find the correspondending page of Japanese Wiki is titled "Arashi", which talks about very different thing than "Troll"- I think equating Troll with Arashi is only, very arrogant, silly mmisconception of JP net users. How come.. (Though it looks like fishing term is actually related to its etymology..)
actually I was thinking "Troll" might have come from the name of the name of fairy in the European folklore (rather than troll fising etc..): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll But it's not related?.. anyway the Western web community has much longer history than Japanese one, and it has many more interesting, complecated terms which describes specific discussion skills.. types of polemics..
I would say, in this Japanese Wikipedia, or Eijiro's referense of the term, the problem is: they are equating Western internet culture (as a whole) JUST with "2ch"!??
This would never happen! How come they would not realize..2channel is merely a low culture with detestable filthy pornotraphic ads always behind the boards. It's appalling to see if they equate them how it's ridiculous.
You should realize 2ch has only emerged by criminal urge of the founder.. and it looks like almost all the participants joins his limited perception such as..Internet community is a dark..gloomy community.. for badmouthing others, or everyone should expose the filthiness inside. I don't think it's universal in other counties though.
>>475 Then Gwyneth Paltrow can be an glamourous woman in English. In japanese Ann Hathway is glamour and Natalie Portman can not be glamour.
In a wikipage, Audrey Hepburn is listed as an example of glamour icons. It was a very good example. In japan Audrey Hepburn is never called glamour. It is Marilyn Monroe who is often called glamour. Audrey Hepburn is rather an icon of cute かわいい woman. I once heard Hepburn was overrated in Japan just as Alan Doron was in Japan. Is it true? About Alan Deron it might be the case. Hepburn must be also popular among western women because she won't cause jealousy among women. She was not a kind of woman who show off sexiness.
As you said, in Japan, cunnning is to cheat in the test. French movie, "Les Sous-doués Passent le Bac"'s title was "The Cunnning IQ=0 (ザ・カンニング IQ=0)" in Japan. English version is "The Under Gifted". In the movie, student cheats on the tests in one way or another to pass the University entrance qualification exam. I'm impressed with your knowledge of Japanese.
Could glamour(British form) have stylish and chic connotation? I learned there is a fashion? magazine "Glamour". American must have published a magazine in british spelling for some reason. You can't make out which is which if glamour or glamor is spoken. But when glamour or glamor is expressed in the letter, don't you feel the different connotation?
Actually I already saw 10 years ago, various Internet Warriors' illustration websites...(or flame warriors?) somewhat like this one: http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/centurion.htm - it wasn't this one but much better one (I cannot find-) Troll was one of these characters. It was very funny.
I guess for example, someone who is always crying/deploring is "Crybaby," Or- if a person looks like tamed by a specific female poster who always simultaneously appear with his appearance, the female is called Nanny.
491 you are mistaking the meaning of glamour in English IMO.. When you say the woman is physically gramorous(as adjectives..,) you'd rather put "-ous" to the word, but glamour doesn't always mean "woman with ample curves" i guess. ,,It's more like general term meaning a female atractiveness..
>>496 I know. In japan, glamourグラマー means attractive (busty) woman as nanashi pointed out. It's Japanese English. I intentionally used the wrong japanse usage of glamour.
actually among those types, I came across some of them (who were called so by others) - e.g.: Pinko ALLCAPS (attention seeker who always posts in all capital letters..) Swarm Jekyl and Hyde toxic Granny Sycophant (- besides, I thought there was always a forum "Sage= 賢人," so I mistook the 2ch term Sage for it, when I was new here)
From around 5:05 in the vid above, a message appears and I'd like to know what it means. "If they were not who you were taught that they.." What does this sentence mean? Who are "they?" Is it something religious? Even if you're not sure, I'd appreciate if you tell me what you think.
>>486 Internet 'trolls' are commonly thought of in this way, like the fantasy sort of troll. I'm pretty sure the word 'trolling' originated from the fishing term, but I think the image most people have of 'trolling' nowadays is the same thing you're thinking of, the antics of an ugly bridge-dwelling troll. So, you're not really wrong - it's related, it's just not the original origin.
>>504 That's a very confusing sentence, I can't make much sense out of it without context. My guess is that it is trying to mock Christian Fundimentalists, and 'they' are the people that fundimentalists hate, like gays?
>>508 Thank you for your response. The sentense in question is below "JUDA April 19th", which is the release day of her second single or something. Is "JUDA April 19th" can be a clue? JUDA as far as I know is also the name of the betrayer in Bible. And before the message, she says, "let the cultural buptism begin." Can it also be a clue?
If you can paraphrase the sentense, I'd like to see it. Also, what does "Believe" mean? I was like beleive what? In the sentense the objective of the verb "believe" is the whole part before comma in the sentense?
Even if you aren't sure, I'm eager to know whatever crosses your mind about what the sentense means.
>>339 Ummm, I know only Real face and Keep the faith in term of their songs. I think someone translates well all their songs more than I do. Habatake mirai he I translated into English is just translated by my poor English(Not self-scorn. I say seriously.)
>>509 "If they were not who you were taught that they would be, would you still believe?" I am not sure what the "they" is or what we are supposed to believe in, but to make it simpler (the sentence is confusing): If you were told your whole life that a person was supposed to be like X, and then you saw that person and they were not like X, then would you continue to put your faith and trust in that person?
It looks like Lady Gaga is (obviously) using Christian themes here, but that does not at all imply that she has any Christian motivations; that is, she is not trying to promote Christianity but instead is using the secretive- and occult-sounding phraseology of Christian writings to popularise her music (so it seems to me).
On the point of trolling, it is true that the strict definition of "trolling" is to give out false information and make people believe it, thus causing problems to as many people as possible. Sometimes, though, the troll is obvious and it's done for the comedy. An example of this is "troll science", a fairly new meme on 4chan. For example: http://images.cheezburger.com/completestore/2010/11/7/5e277f6c-1230-45a3-81e2-caa4b3ea1e5c.jpg
If you are just making fun of people or having arguments, you can call that "flaming", and many people doing it is a "flame war".
>>512 Thank you for your taking time to watch the video and explaining! Your observation really helps me understand better what it means. Thank you veyr much!

I'm fed up with hearing the news of disasters... No more ones please... I'm totally begging you, the gods of the Earthquake (or the Land or the Plate or whatever......) Hope the people in Tohoku area are safe and sound..... Only I can do is just pray for them...
>>542 around 9:00 the drivers come across a bulldog at the site from 2km to the fukushima nuclear plant. the drivers gave the dog foods but he still staring them cause he apparently wanted more...・゚・(つД`)・゚・
There are two distinct catastrophic problems if another really big one hits again. I am very concerned for Tokyo and Fukushima. One is a metro, the other is like a radioactive volcano.
The way to solve the fist problem: distribute Tokyo's power, move people to a wider area; even if takes 100 years to accomplish.
Second problem is harder to solve; decommission and never ever build a nuclear power station again. Put all the effort in research for renewables and change the way we think about energy. Only Japan can do this.
Poor foreigners overseas who's alwasy staring at false reportings which exaggerate the disaster with laughable hysteria! We are not getting scared at any aftershocks of last night, Especially in Tokyo it doesn't even worth to be mentioned anymore, thank you!
If kg2 is refering to Tokyo, I guess no one is killed, even hurt. Yesterday's earthquake was an "average" jolt, seisimic intensity of 3. Scale 3 is what we may experience in every year. But earthquake after earthquake is traumatic and weary.
>>560 All this time I have always followed the NHK World first and BBC News second, KeyHoleTV channels third. Then the USGS real time site to look at the earthquake details. All that information is false and hysterical?
>>564 Tokyo, Osaka and Ibaraki. The jolt would surely upset everyone. I hope there won't be any more like this.
>>565 Plates settling down to new stress conditions might take longer to stabilise.
>>557 Itis the high maintenance patients who suffer the most. If this had happened outside Japan the death toll would have been much higher.
I don't know about your information, but your face is certainly false and hysterical. Tokyo is 32000 miles away from the epicentre, and some fuckin foreigners were fuckin feaking out over the small weak quake last night, disturbing the neighbour with their faggotty foreign screaming. Osaka is 60 billion miles from Tohoku region which means you fuckin need to get a map of Japan before getting dramatic.
>>570 I will repeat: Is NHK world giving out false information, presented in a hysterical manner?the BBC? What news agencies report false information? Please tell me so I can avoid them.
With "false face" are you trying to imply that one is being "insincere"?
I don't know about the "fucking foreigners" you are talking about. Were they your neighbours and they annoyed you?
People need to calm down with nuclear plant politics. I heard Germans voted for a fruity radical environmentalist party after the Fukushima accidents. This is very bad for Germany. I expected better from the German people.
I've checked every new anime that started this month and so far this is my fave, aside from Kaiji and Steins Gate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzD8_Jx4X9Y In this era of moe, ero, and mahoushojou crap, this one is a gem.
Native English speakers, would you paraphrase the sentense above? I don't understand exactly what it means so I thoght paraphrasing can help me understand what it means. Thank you!
>>579 When people say, "I have God in my life" they usually just mean that they are christian and follow the teachings of the Bible and have faith in god. They see it as having a personal relationship with god.
This person could be saying that they have a career devoted to the christian faith, like that of a missionary, and that proves their devotion to god. They could also be saying that they feel blessed with their great career and they think their faith in god is responsible for their success.
This nuclear accident stuff is ridiculous. Japan made a choice to use nuclear power knowing that it was much less polluting than coal or oil, but that there was a very slight chance of a big accident. And after a 9.0 earthquake, I think Japan got off easy. Just because a nuclear plant is releasing a little radiation after one of the biggest earthquakes in history, doesn't mean that we should all go destroy every nuclear plant in every other country. Oil and coal are still really polluting. Geothermal, wind, solar, or even tide power are options but they're so expensive that they're hardly practical. I live near a nuclear power plant and I like seeing a white cloud coming out of my power plant more than a deathly black cloud.
fukushima plant has endured this M9.0 earthquake but this big tsunami's scale was beyond their assumption. but there was a rumor among workes at Toden that the plant has problems within the constructure before the quake.
>>581 I disagree regarding the renewables. Wind power and solar thermal is the way to go, it is already happening. And there is far too much natural gas to consume than you could ever imagine, before you even get to nuclear. Nuclear is far too expensive to build; the next generation example built in Finland has failed the safety standards badly. Nuclear as a low carbon alternative is simply false logic.
>>582 The fact that it is leaking because it was a strong earthquake doesn't imply that if smaller earthquakes hit over a long period your plant will be safer. NHK world said it was the ground movement, not the tsunami that caused the the cooling water to drain. It is harder to predict the effect of smaller, successive hits in the long run.
The problem with nuclear is that you can develop weapons with the material used, that is why the nuclear lobby and it ssupporters are louder than they should be.
>>583 Nuclear is more expensive than coal or oil and does have the issue of spent fuel storage, but it is in total much less environmentally damaging. While I won't argue that there's enough coal/oil to last us a long time, it does pose environmental and health concerns (and in America's case, political). Solar and wind are already being deployed in many countries, which I am fine with and are very clean, but it is hard to make enough of them to power entire cities (and also very very expensive). Geothermal and tide are other options that Japan would be suited for, but they have not yet been widely used anywhere.
>>584 Weapons-grade uranium and plutonium have to be much more refined than power plant-grade versions. That is why Iran can have nuclear power plants but not (necessarily) nuclear weapons. However, the technology is similar for the two, which is why the US is concerned about Iran having nuclear plants.
>>585 It is possible to decentralise power generation and that consumer electronics should make ultra low power components to reduce power consumption. If enough researchers were deployed on it it would not be impossible.
It is the industrial energy consumption that is the problem, like the cement industry, needs a lot of power. It is not impossible to build a balanced energy portfolio through natural gas and renewables for industry. You have to divide the energy problem into its categories to be able to deal with it. China has already hit the 41 GW mark with wind, a massive 30+% growth from 2009. Let alone entire cities, they are heading to power the whole of China from wind in twenty years! It is phenomenal.
>>588 They are communist, so it's easy for the government to make huge, expensive public works projects. For corporations, such a feat is terribly expensive. Another thing Japan ought to do (that would definitely not be easy) is connect and centralise the country's power grid. Then, western Japan can help give power to Tokyo and east Japan, and blackouts would be much less of a problem.
>>52 I thought they no longer were. It is true that they get funded by the state loans but look what they have done; they have created new markets and are now the market leaders. They put their growth energy into the renewables .It was becuase of their national policy. It is the intention that counts clearly.
>>593 China has been communist since Mao's revolution in 1949. Regardless China has been exemplary in how well it runs a communist government. Most of them in history have collapsed.
I understand building a nuclear energy plant costs huge amount of money, however, after that, nuclear energy is the best cost-effective source (for Japan). After all, we choose the energy to keep our economic prosperity.
Will you pay large amount of money for people's safety? Can you put up with the soaring electric rates? That's the true problem, I think.
>>596 Yes but looking at the past month can you sincerely say it is the safest for Japan? You re an island country, nowhere to run when such disasters strike. You have to think of safety first amnd cannot just build plants hoping the worst wil not happen. It does happen!
Now they are going to discharge the heavy water into the ocean. I would be worried, if not about the environment, the fish I eat for breakfast. If it was a wind farm damaged by the earthquake, you would not have have to worry about the radiated fish or contaminated soil. Nor you would need to worry about exploding reactors. You would just have blackouts to worry about. Yes you need to pay higher prices initially. That would motivate the society to find cheaper renewable energy sources, use energy wisely and efficiently. However the payback time wouldn't be that long. It would get cheaper
>>597 I think you are right but we have smaller options. We don't have a huge land like china. And, you know, the communist Chinese government own the whole land to use free of charge.
Wind-power generation is too costly for us(living on small islands with huge population).
Today I went to my university to take body measure. The result will be sent by May. I hope it's good. By the way, I've followed some celebrities on twitter, Entertainers, politicians, musicians, and journalists. I wonder if they will follow me... Maybe they don't do.lol Ah, lol stands for Laughing out loud. I say that for followers don't know the abbreviation.
I'm watching the video, named Zutto uso datta(It was a lie for long time) by Japanese famous and popular singer Kazuyoshi Saito on You Tube. Below URL is it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b01yohRgfyc I want all foreign followers to listen to this song! This song has a message says "No more nuclear power plant" and "All we have to do is abolish all nuclear power plants" so to speak. I agree with his saying in this song wholeheartedly. We don't need such danger. I don't know why the people concerned with nuclear power plant didn't decide to abandon the nuclear power plant, when radioactive wave from there started leaking. I do think nuclear power is so dangerous and all workers concerned with it are also so dangerous(namely, crazy) in this case.
Ah, I have one thing I forgot to say to you. Zutto uso datta is self-parody song of his hit song, Zutto suki datta(I've loved you)time to take a dinner. Cya.
>>580 Thank you very much for your explanation. I understand what it means perfect. If you were near me, I'd buy you a can of coffe or something.
By the way, we have a can of coffee sold in a vending machine. What makes people abroad surprised I heard is that they even sell a can of hot coffee in a vending machine here, which is nothing to surprised with here. Thanks a zillion!
I consider nuclear power plant as necessary evil for japan(with poor natural resources and high land prices). So we should build much safer nuclear energy plants. That's the way to strike a balance between safety and cost.
Zutto uso datta(translated by Umechi) Word&Music by Kazuyoshi Saito
Walking in this country, there are 54 nuclear power plants we can see Textbooks and TV commercials said "It's honestly alright" to me But, they've fooled us and excused "It's unexpected" I long for the sky I've not seen for long time, feel tickling black rain
It was just a lie for long time But now is unveiled It was realy a lie for long time Nuclear power is really safe
It was just a lie for long time I do wanna eat so many spinaches It was really a lie for long time They must have noticed this serious problem
We can't stop radiation dancing in the wind anymore
Hey, Mr. This land's government Why don't you notice this serious problem Even though people die of radioation day by day
Escaping from this city Have you found some delicious water?
Tell me! Ah, no, I don't wanna hear...
Nowhere is to escape from this in here now
It's was so motherfucking for long time Tokyo electric power co. Hokuriku electric power co. Chubu electric power co. and Kyusyu electric power co. I don't see any dreams anymore
It's was just so motherfucking for long time But, they still don't stop It's was really so motherfucking for long time I have idea I wanna do something It was just a lie for long time It was really so motherfucking for long time
>>599 I think I will disagree. You have a lot of options.
Wind farms can be installed in the sea, you do not need to occupy land. There are many offshore wind farms built by China. Do not start labeling China as "communist", they may have been so in the past. Now they are the ultra-capitalists. Look at their breath taking economic growth. How can they be communists when the property prices are so high and people work hard to live a high standard of life?
>>609 from what I heard from Chinese colelagues, I got the impression there is a mix, but I do not know the percentange state ownership. I have lost my wife in teaching her lesson ; I lost my daughter in teaching a lesson to my wife. I resolved to lose everything ere I teach them severe lesson except my will. It is my will that I assert and before it they shall perform fellatio. They shall perform fellatio and bow before me as they find in me a heartless husband and a cruel father. They shall bow before me when they see their own cowardly behavior reflected in their own minds. They will hold me as responsible for it. Silly things!
>>598 Your argument is valid as far as there is no regular stoppage of electricity supply except for situations like the aftermath of this quake. In the long run, unstable electricity supply would damage our economy much more seriously than worrying about eating fish.
We might be able to gradually replace nuclear power with other energy resources in future and that should be on the agenda, but I still believe that this chaos could have been prevented if TEPCO had prepared better and had handled the situation appropriately. We should not overreact to the current situation.

Why do you know? He was very hadsome and self-deprecating guy despite having good looking face. Please love Jeffrey and give him hope. Conficence is the key. Let him know there is a love. Jeffrey could be a real charisma man in Japan. He would be much popular in Japan comparted to Kamenashi.
Yeah, you could be a charsima man in Japan, too. I'm not joking. It doesn't matter if you are jew or hispanic or anything as long as you look white in Japan. Jeffrey is the top of the charisma world.
>>647 Is it you? I guess hiphopstyle? and dark skin color which makes him less white and lovehina in his hands would lower the chance. But I guess the man in the link could have much more chances in Japan than he is in the U.S. Suppose if he was Japanese. He would just be driven into the corner of Akihabara.
If I could hang out with a cutting edge white guy with a hiphopsytle, I would be taken as brother in a charisma circle and which would give me tremendous merit.

>>657 They would say that to a Mexican, but not to someone like me, even if I'm from the Northeast. They might say that to a Japanese person but probably not. Actually it's rare to find blatant racism anywhere in the US but it exists in people's minds still. Mostly in the South, because it took them longer to abolish slavery and because they have issues with Mexican illegal immigrants. Plus, the South is generally much more white (except major cities) compared to the North, and thus more homogeneous. As an example, in the South you see many more slums filled with white people and in the North you see mostly slums filled with non-whites, such as Blacks and Hispanics. Asians occasionally but less often live in slums.
>>660 That means white people live separately from non whites people in the South. I heard non-white population percentage is high in the south as well. I heard some Calironia area is also exclusive, like Orange county. Do you have any knowledge or expericance about Orange county? We Japanese don't expect there is racisim in Calironia. In japanese general image, it may be diverse and open to anything including homosexual.
I can't imagin slums filled with white people. Is that so-called white trush?
>>661 Whites and non-whites often live separately everywhere. It's more of a class issue than a race issue though, so very poor whites may live in slums alongside people of other races. Of course, everything I say is a generalisation and does not at all mean there aren't black and hispanic people who are very wealthy and live in the suburbs or in suites.
I don't really know about Orange County. Numbers of people of different races depend heavily on where you are. The North and South are different, but cities are different than the suberbs or rural areas there too. In the North, poor people tend to live in certain parts of cities, and in the South you see a lot of them living in rural areas (because of land prices, I assume). The Midwest (which includes states like Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, etc.) has different race distributions than those two. California tends to be more like the Northeast. Therefore, it has much less racism than many states around it. But wherever you are, the most culturally accepting areas are always cities.
And yes, white people in the south in slums are often called "white trash".
Hi there have you seen the topic which is posted on american bbs? the name is [i will officially become 40years virgin, ask me anything?] the spells and title might be a bit wrong, but thats as I remember. the english spoken in there is-very complicated for me. how come like that?there are too many words I've never seen before. i thought that the english is spoken as same as this thread.
>>663 Well, most people here are Japanese. A few people are neither Japanese nor native English speakers. I try to keep my English fairly proper and simple when writing here, so it should not be too hard to understand, as with most other English-speakers here I think. Although my >>662 post my have been a bit complicated.
>It's more of a class issue than a race issue though,
(I'm just chimed in- I don't think it really true..It's said by whites..) When I was in Northern Louisiana long time ago..I went on a trip to New Orleans by bus, and when I passed Lake Ponchartrain, I noticed there is such thing like black university ..in NO area...for the 1st time in my life- I didn't imagine there is racially segregated colleges in US.. but now I wouldn't wonder anything.. because I lived in some different cities in US and witnessed many segregations..
Many foreigners who visited Japan tend to say, Japanese are the people who don't really know what is being Japanese... It must be correct. Lately this country looks like in a kind of..messy confusion (Lately I came back from US) We could see some high quality Japanese tv programs or CMs.. but Japanese arts and culture..are deplorablly low, society is stitled, because no fundamental change has been made..in last 20yrs I guess the primary reason which caused this situation is.. because Japanese in general don't really use English very well.. and the society averts its eyes from getting globalized. It makes us remain as a toad in a bottom of the well,
>>666 Segregations are nowadays mostly an economic issue, as nanashi said, but people's choice as well. Poor whites don't want to live with poor black and usually form white only community in poor neighborhood. Many wealthy blacks and Latinos live in gated communities only for their race/ethnicity. People feel safe and comfortable surrounded by people-like-you, and race/ethnicity is one of the biggest factors to determine whether one feels an affinity with others.
>>667 You sound like a typical ignorant Japanese faggot who thinks he is an international guy and looks down on other Japanese but doesn't know what's really going on in the world.
>>667 I wondered why Japan enjoys wealthiness even though its politics is shabby and bad. Usually, countries with poor politics do not grow so faster. But, after the trouble of Fukushima power plant, Japan got to be said to become a poor country. I am convinced the answer having come at last. Economies will catch up with the shabby politics soon.

Oshio taught me that Pronucing Japan as Japan would not come across among native speakes, but Japyong would! I have tried hard to speak the correct pronuncition ever since.
As for racism and Gundam, Robert A. Heinlein wrote a novel,Starship Troopers, which caused controversy among readers saying it's racist or praising militarism. Aside from it powered suits in the novel inspired the birth of mobile suits.
Most people would hold Heinlain to be far from racist and it might be true. On the other hand, Early SciFi Pioneers like John W. Campbell and Edger Alan Poe had obvious racist ideology and it's rather natural, considering the time.
It looks like the US gov't decisively expressed their view: There is no need for the people living within 40 km from the Fukushima plant to evacuate.. Then the hysterical NYT finaly began abstaining from making further-badly exaggerating reportings. (yesterday tabuchi made rather "praising" article about Japanese.. what a heck is that!!)
Goodness gracious!!Qaddafi accepsted the proposal for immediate ceasefire made by African Union's delegates sent by Zuma..the Ugandan president in Tripoli?!
Surprisingly, after moving to Las Vegas, my new ISP is allowed here. ヤッタ! Unfortunately, I found out at midnight, the day before I'm going back to California for a week. I'll check in here in the morning and see if anyone knows me. After that, I won't be back for a week.
>>661 Coincidentally, I lived in Orange County my entire life, until a week ago. Some areas have very mixed populations, some are mostly one race. You might be surprised to learn that some of the areas that are mostly one race are not white. It really depends on the area. Santa Ana, for example, is mostly Mexican. Laguna Beach is for rich white folks. I hate driving around down there because there are too many expensive cars. BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Toyota, Lamborghini, Lexus... it annoys me.
Anyway, it's difficult to make a statement to apply to the entire area. Orange county has a population of over 3 million, and covers almost 2,500 km2.
As for racism in California - you're mostly right. California is a very tolerant area, in general. There are always exceptions though. Some people are just jerks.
If you have specific questions, I should be able to answer.
>>687 I would be happy to, but I'm too tired now. Sorry. I hope someone else will be willing to help, because I won't be back for a week, so that probably won't do you any good.
We just had another earthquake near Fukushima just a couple of minuites ago. About the same as the last one. Shindo 6-jaku in Fukushima. 3 or 4 in Tokyo.
>>697 You're one to talk about things being off-topic, writing in Japanese. Thank you >>696 for the information. It looks like it was (right now) a 7.1 magnitude earthquake. It's quite a bit further south than the last one. Hopefully it won't do much damage. Don't worry Japan, soon this will end.
>>683 You are the one who display kanji for wallpaper? If so, do you still go out with the orochon ramen girl? What makes you bring to Las Vegas? You left California to live in Vegas for your job or somthing? I know this is a personal question but that's the beauty of an anonymous board. You can always ignore annoying questions.
>>698 You got 697 wrong. His question is: "Do media overseas cover the massive earthquake of Japan? Sorry for being off topic but I just thought people in this thread know about that."
Basically, there's nothing like off topic in this thread because every topic is OK as long as written in English. So what he meant by "off topic" is "Sorry for writing in Japanese, breaking rules in this thread," which isn't the right way to use the term "of topic."
>>697 Yes, of course. I have to remind you that this is a thread where you're supposed to post in English. If you don't I'll fart right in front of your face. My fart is 10 times powerful than that of skunk, mind you. I'm not >>1, by the way.
>>700 Oh, you remember me too! I'm so glad. I'm the same guy - check the tripcode, I got my handle in there! I haven't made any new wallpapers in a while, but I did update one. They're all here: http://jook.imgur.com/kanji_wallpapers I doubt any of you folks would want to use them, though. If you're Japanese, it's not cool - it's just a word. That's why Japanese people wear T-shirts with English phrases on them. When I was in Japan, I saw a girl with a shirt that said "I'd love to die" and the apostrophe was a little heart. I was too busy laughing to tell her what it meant. Do you think the average person would be put-off by a random foreigner coming out of nowhere to tell them what their shirt means? I sort of regret not talking to her. If I was wearing kanji, I would want to be sure of the meaning.
Anyway, my girlfriend always preferred shinsengumi's ramen, because they don't include moyashi. I love orochon's spicy ramen. She broke up with me in February though. I try not to think about her too much, because it bothers me.
I moved to Las Vegas because my uncle got a job here and invited me to go with him, so for me it's mostly just that I'm finally getting out of my parents' house. Of course, I'm hoping to get a job too. My uncle works for a company that runs the sets and effects for shows, and he thinks he can help me get a job doing something similar.
>>706 I've been checking in on this thread from time to time, ever since I stopped being able to post. I keep trying, but I've always been blocked. How have you been continuing to post, all this time? Seven proxies? Or you just never lost access? I heard that all of the US was blocked because of some massive spam attack, but I guess not all ISPs were included. I was able to post from school last year, for example, but I only realized that at the end of the time I was going there.
>>707 It's you! First off, sorry to hear that. For some reason, I thought you were still together. Thanks for the link. Although they are just words to us as you say, but graphical design and effects make them all look cool.
I don't know if she knows what the sentense means on her T-shirt or not. (Maybe if she's 8 or 9th grade or older, chances are she knows what it means.) Even if she knows what it means, she never knows how it looks to native English speakers eyes if it's printed on T-shirt as a statement. Honestly, I don't either. Of course I know what it means but the impact it gives and how funny and weird to English speaking people when printed on T-shirt are unsure to me.
I'm not sure how she'd have felt if you had pointed out how strange and funny it is. For extrovert and people person, they'd enjoy talikng about it as an icebreaker, but in case of an introvert person, they could feel intimidated. Almost all Japanese wearing a T-shirt with weird statement in English on it don't recognize how weird it is so, it wouldn't be easy to explain and convince them how weird it is.
>>708 Don't worry about it. There's no reason you would have known.
Glad you like my pictures though. I have fun making them. The one I fixed up recently was Shogun. In the old version, the flag looked terrible. I fixed it up and added an aged effect.
As for the girl with the suicide shirt, she was older than that for sure. I'd guess probably 20s. I guess I should have realized that she probably would have an idea what it means. But what about how it looks for me? What would you think if you were in America, and someone was wearing a shirt that said 死んだ こと 欲しい in big letters. A bit strange, right? And it's not inconceivable. Check this out: http://hanzismatter.blogspot.com/ I don't know why someone would take a tattoo artist's word that those unknown symbols mean what they say.
Anyway, thanks for your good wishes. I'm packing up now, and I'll be back in a week or so. Take care everyone!
>>677 Japanese American or Japanese expatriate working for America has no brain. They just obey what true americans say to protect themselves from bullying.
Isn't "I would love to die" strange as English either? I'm Japanese so I am not sure of it though. "would love" to sounds very positve and outgoing word and it contradicts next word "die". I would love to sounds like 死ねたらなあ! or 死にてえw! in Japanese.
I googled "I would love to die" and returns show that the phrase often follows with a conditon of death or a way to die, like "i would love to die in a resort, instead of hospital bed". "die" itself is not a goal. Way to die is focused.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6JwtEfa5Xk I wanna die or I want to die sounds more natural? I just happend to find a band and song above. I'm not familiar with contemporary music but I felt the band and song was similar to Evanescence and its songs. Are they in the genre of gothic metal ? I bet KG2 would love to listen to this kind of music.
Death and violence sometimes feel appealing and romantic to me too. But I'm not in the mood cos death is more real thing here in Japan.
>>700 Ah, I see now. I think I got the reading for 悪い wrong for some reason. "Kaigai de jisin no koto tte houdou sareteru no? Sureti de warui ga, kono sure niha kuwashii hito iru to omotte" Literally, "Overseas, the matter of the earthquake is reported? Apologies for being off-topic, but on this thread I think that there are people who know this."
I am still working on improving my Japanese. Thank you for correcting me.
Regardless, I did not know of the earthquake. I don't watch television so it takes me time to learn about recent news.
>>715 How can death be romantic, you die and that is that! Nothing to do! No food to eat, no wine to drink, no lover to cuddle with!
Yes I listen to dark wave but I am on the "we are born to live but death comes to you like it or not" side of things.
So Evanescence or morbidly depressive music does not appeal to me. How could I find death appealing when I love a little turtle who is bursting with life and supreme cuteness? I will favourite some videos in my youtube channel so you can understand. Write here what you think of the music.
Unheilig's Graf is as romantic as German goth gets. He is soooo hot,,,,,especially in black leather.
>>724 6.5-7.0 is too high already! That level kills tens of thousands in poor countries. It is the correct construction practices and good engineering that kept Japanese cities mostly intact. I am in awe.

This feeling must be the same with the feeling you experience when you see Kanji characters.
I have a question to native English speakers. The article is about Lady gaga's new single's PV. Gaga is considered to be bad to Christianity foundamentalist.
"It went through several changes and late-night debates because at one point there were two completely different views and I was like, 'Listen, I don't want lightning to strike me! I believe in the gospel and I'm not going there'," Gibson told The Hollywood Reporter.
What does this "I'm not going there" mean? I looked it up in my dictionary and found out that it's "I won't talk it, I don't want to talk about it." Is it the case in this context? Gibson is a co-director of the new PV so it means "I don't want to do it" or "I don't agree with your idea" or something?
Also, "lightning to strike me!" means "God punishes her"?
>>747 I want to live without nuclera power if we could.
But carefully watching your link, I noticed thermal power plants have to work hard nearly to its ceiling in order to replace nuclear power plants and it nearly stoped. Power plant can only work when it's below its supply level. When power demand surpasses power supply, power supply stops. Thermal power plants barely have supply capability.
And don't forget about 2010 crazy hot summer. In summer power supply exceeded more than 90% of entire supply capability everywhere in Japan. In your diagram, nuclear power comprises about 20% of the entire power So without nuclear power plants, there would have been an blackout. It is not applied to 2010 summer to be able to do without nuclear power. We have to replace nuclerpower with other resources anyway if we want to live up to today's life standard without nuclear power. It was not a mistake to stay afloat from daily demand level. It can be called emergency management. I can't say power generation companies were frauds at this stage.
>>754 You're sort of right about 'I'm not going there", it often means "I will not talk about that", but more generically it just means "I will not _____"
"going there" in slang means crossing some metaphorical threshold between what is acceptable and what is not. For example, maybe she's okay with showing boobs in the video, but it was "going too far" when they tried to slaughter a pig in the video and she doesn't want to "go there". (I made that up)
You're right about the lightning, it's supposed to mean divine punishment.

What's this "Hollywood's "It" scene."? "It" means sex sometimes as far as I know so does it mean "Hollywood's sex scene"? I have no clues.
"Needless to say, things didn't work out. "I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately," Gaga says. "I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars."

>>763 ??? I refuted your? following opinion, "The maximum of electricity demand has never exceeded the ability of thermal and hydraulic power generation. Don't be deceived by boloney of nuclear plotters. " You are not right and have to retract your opinion as long as supply and demand issue are concerned.
It is you who love labeling. I didn't even mention that we should go on with nuclear plants. I just suggested that we have to replace nuclear power with other energy sources anyway if we want to continue today's living standard.
It is fraud that energy supply capacity without nucler power is enough. First you should have started with the fact that extra energy supply is needed to mainain the distribution of electric power and energy supply capacity without nuclear power is not enough for emergency or irregular time like 2010 summer. I don't mind if you wanna go with alternative, less energy consuming life style. That is one opition.
I assumed The Angels of the Rainbow was Japanese. And he is. I collected the clue from his sentence. And I'm ofcourse Japanese.
I wonder whether he is against the presence of nuclear plants in the U.S where he lives and Obama's clean energy policy to build new nuclear plants around the states. It must be more important business for him.
From what I can tell, there has been an anti-nuclear reaction in the US but it is not nearly as big as in Japan or Germany. I think that if you want to replace nuclear power with other things like thermal or solar, that's fine, as long as you're willing to pay for it. But if you're going to do that, then replace your oil and coal plants too, because they're terribly polluting. And the oil and coal industries have much, much worse corruption, death and injury rates, etc.

The Chinese have huge public areas. They are suitable to use for wind or geothermal generation. Wind generation is too expensive for us. Who pays for it? you? Nuclear power generation is the most efficient way at least for us.
>>793 You better see a gynocologist, instead of asking a bunch of NEET men what to do (what do they know?!) If this happens too often you need to know why.
>>810 What I meant was that 2ch men are into Otaku things and porn, what would they know about women's health problems? There might be exceptions of course.
>>795 wwww nanashi! It is a bit like that, but not a google calendar. >>>813 No misunderstandings, seriously, if it is sudden or heavier than usual you need to have it checked.
>>814 Don'r forget you're part of 2ch and you are eagert to mingle with such men. You sound like you're special when in fact you're birds of a feather in a way. And I'm, too.
>>816 On one hand I agree re: private issues. On the other hand, codes of behaviour is changing as the world is becoming more feminised. So why criticise someone just because she is open? Does she have to be Tracy Emin to be acceptable?
>>814 You are absolutely right, I am sorry if I came across as patronising. I really meant it in a positive and concerned way when I said it, please do not worry.
>>815 you don't understand: / you just said I asked "a bunch of NEET" about women health problem, but I didn't do such thing. you'll never see a question mark in my post. now you got the point??
I feel almost no sexual drives. I think that's because my balls are so small that they don't have enough production ability of sperms. It's not that I don't feel horny when I see women's nude, though.
It's just that I don't have desire to release semen out of my body because semen doesn't seem to be accumulated in my body. I heard some people can't help but release semen to calm down their sexual desire but I never felt that way.
>>834 Some men are built that way. Sometimes it is in the genes. Otherwise you might be stressed, upset, or simply under-nourished. Maybe you need to look at what you eat, how much you exercise, or if you are on medication, talk to your doctor.
>>838 I'm tall and great build so there's no possibilities that I'm undernurished. Only my balls and penis are pretty small. What I'm concerned is if there is a gap between my sexual drives and my potential wife. Although, I won't be able to get married.
>>840 You know the answer. Because I'm NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.
Also, I'm not sure my balls can produce normal sperms. Maybe I'm too worried but I'm not confident about my sperms and semen is all right. Very sleepy. I need to go to bed. Take care.
>>845 You can observe Japanese people's humbleness even in 2ch.
It's not only about the size of penis, though. When Japanese English learners say they speak English "just a little," more often than not, it turns out that they speak pretty good.
When American people say, "I speak Spanish" or whatevery other languages, in most cases all they can say is just basic greetings or very elementary things.
It's been more than a month since the huge tsunami and massive quake. We shouldn't forgtet how tsunami's enormous power make impact on our lives. Below are videos that show vividly Tsunami's power. Some videos were used for TV broadcast, and some not. They are all filmed by amateurs. I reccomend you watch all the way through.

>>809 You think.... I'm sorry, I don't care what you think I am. Am I or am I not too radical? Why don't you insist on your view with evidence bravely instead of babbling like "I think this and that..."? Are you stammering dickhead or something?
What you're saying is just "I don't want to lower my standard of living than I've got now." You should be ashamed of yourself. A convenient life, an easy life―the lighthearted attitude of thoughtless swines like you has caused the terrible disaster going on in FUKUSHIMA. You've as good as brought the RADIOACTIVE HELL to the innocent city, and also to the whole of Japan!
The other day, I saw Ryo Ishikawa speaking English on TV. And his English was absolutely horrible. He was about as fluent as an ordinary Japanese high school student. It was appalling.
>>864 Did I hurt your feelings? I'm not disrespecting him but after seeing so many Speed Learning ads I thought his English would at least be better than Japanese high school kids and it was shocking to hear him speak like that.
>>866 Do you mean the golfer? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJx4Wsxi_Qc I will admit I've definitely seen better English. But the important thing with speaking English, even if you speak it slowly, is that we can understand what you're saying. Honestly I'm glad he's speaking slowly because if he wasn't I might not be able to understand him...
Jin Akanishi has an official twitter. he is breaking the hearts of thousands of fans by flirting online with his dancers, whom he is said to have intimacy with.
Ishikawa's English is clear and he gets the message across very well. Well done for asking people to repeat after his name. English speakers are never good at (or never make an effort) to pronounce non-English names. That teaches them a lesson.
>>841 You worry too much. Find yourself a beautiful working girlfriend. If you cook and clean for her, massage her shoulders and be good to her she will worship you. That way you can keep being a NEET and still have a married life.
>>867 Yes, that's him. Speed Learning is an English lesson CD or something and their ads featuring Ishikawa's face are everywhere. He's actually speaking better English in that video than what I saw a couple of weeks ago on TV. And the youtube video was posted 2 years ago. His English is getting worse. He should stop using Speed Learning.
>>875 I thought you mean that so, in technical jergon, you're talking about API thingy, right? Like when you tweet, the message is reflected on your blog and stuff. There's no such a thing in 2chan.
>>861 You say I am a dickhead and you can prove it? You just proved yourself to be The Angels of 乱暴, not Rainbow.
883 :The Angels of the Rainbow:2011/04/17(日) 00:39:08.54
>>882 Oh my goodness...... You don't prove yourself not to be a dickhead? You don't say "I am not a dickhead"? Whether or not I take trouble to prove it, you deserve to be called whatever, BECAUSE you don't even try to deny it. I don't believe that an empty-headed scab like you adressed me. You'd better stuff straw or something into your head before speak out.
>>883 I'm going(on a business trip) to TOHOKU region to help the suffering staff in the disaster areas. Since I volunteered to do the work, I'm kind of a dickhead.
Of course, I really sorry for the citizen victims. But, whether we should abolish nuclear power plants or not is another matter. We can build safer plants.(it's one of options.)
I have one question to all foreigners here. Would you answer?
I learned the diffence of below words' meaning in interschool's class today.
could might/may can should/ought to would will must
Japanese tacher chaging in the class told us "Could refers to lowest conviction, and Must refers to highest conviction" and showed above gragh from lowest to highest. But, she added, "I'm not sure how these words express these levels of conviction by percentage" So, we all students had to ask the native tascher charging another class. However, we all forgot to do that... Oh my god... That's why I ask this quetion to all foreigners here. Would you express these levels of conviction by percentage?
Now someone is singing the Ika Musume opening theme on stage...
>>899 could = any % might/may = about the same as "could" can = more expresses that something has the ability to happen, and doesn't really imply a likelihood should/ought to = more than 50%, or could mean like the Japanese 「〜するべきです」 would = is different; means that something would occur if something were not preventing it, ex. "I would go if I were not sick", but implies that something is not happening will = 100% (usually) must = means that there is a compulsion, like in Japanese 「〜なくてはいけない」 others: shall = the old first-person form of "will", but nowadays we usually use "will"; but you may hear "shall" sometimes have/has to = same as "must" had better = same as "should", in the second definition
>>901 Umechi-san, thank you for sharing this interesting stream. Where do you find neat Ustream videos like this? That website is not very well-known in the US so I don't know much about it.
894>>Go get your lenses! dont be lazy! Go go go!(but probably the shops are closed now0. What time do the shops close on Sunday, wherever you are? 895>> Thanks sweetie I also found several fake accounts. She probably has a private one that is locked. Why would the Japanese people use twitter, they probably have something better than that already. (Unless they want to have international contacts).
>>902 Ah, I got to know this website when I read a book about internet. (Sorry, I've forgotten the name of the book...). At the first, I didn't know the website at all, but soon I got to know it's a net service like You Tube and Niconico douga.
Incidentally, I hardly watch some videos in the website. I often use You Tube. This time, I was watching the live stream because I'd got the information of the event
Anyway, I'm gonna show the translated lyric of Syunkasyuutou(Four seasons)all the members were singing on the stage. A person translated the song... is me. lol.
Syunkasyuutou(translated by Umechi) Music&Word by Shigeru Izumiya
♪I was born in place there has no seasons I was growing in hill no wind blows I got out of my hopeless home I met cruel people
I run from west to east, thinking it was good for all people Tenderness I found finally was just fragile
I have no time to feel springs I have no power to go over summers My body is embraced by autumns' leaves I reveal myself to winters
☆But on today everything will be over Everything will change Everything will be reward of mine Another everything will be born
♪Repeat
I gaze at next person out of the corner of my eyes I ask myself if my life is alright I feel like being cruel more For a moment I have a self-conscious smile
My place is so dirty but if you're free Please come on here I really want you to stop by on your way once
>>903 >She probably has a private one that is locked. I don't think so, some people around her age aren't so PC and web service literate. Female office workers around her age could be familiar with Twitter and stuff but Kyon2 is in show business and don't have to be PC literate. I even suspect she can't use PC not to mentions typing on keyboard. I'm afraid to say this but I don't think she's a kind of woman who is intelligent and tries to learn new things like PC. I think all she can do is just email by her cell phone which I guess is just an ordinary feature phone, not smart phone like iPhone.
After I checked her blog a moment ago, I found out that even though she has her own blog account, all blog entries there are written by her staff for PR purpose.
There's similar micro blogging services like Twitter in Japan but Twitter was the first of its kind introduced in Japan and others just imitate Twitter. So Twitter is dominent in micro blogging service here.
"Ameba Now" must be the second well known micro blogging service in Japan and it's run by the same company that runs blog service "Ameba blog, " where Kyon2 has her accont as I mentioned above. "Ameba Now" is something which they designed imitating Twitter. There's a link to Ameba Now on her blog account and I found out that she doesn't use Ameba Now, either.
>>905 Do you like his songs? I would often listen to his songs when I was young. at that time, I thought of him as a gifted poet rather than a folk singer.
>>909 Honestly, I know and have heared only Syunnkasyuutou(Four seasons) and Nemurenai yoru(Sleepless night) in term of his songs. But, both are good songs to me.
And I think he just pretends he is a ruffian. haha.
>>907 Wow thanks for the interesting info. I also looked for Kyon2 on Ameba and there are too many of them.
On the contrary to what you say, I get the idea that she is an intelligent woman. Maybe not exactly tech literate but she can read humans very well. I really like some of her songs especially remixes. Her videos are creative too. I am sure her staff would have set up her twitter and shown her how to post from her keitai. Thanks again for looking for her account! If you come across some insider KYON2 info please let me know...
>>937 You are accepting of kyonkyon and kamenashi relationship and you even showed respect for kyonkyon. I guess you are pretending not to be jealous and vengeful. Your pride is high and you wanna show calmness, pureness, honesty which are compatible with your pride. say kyon kyon is old ladyばばあ and does not match for kamenashi. It's natural and I don't blame you.
>>939 Yes there is an age gap, and he seems to have a fetish for it. If it makes him really happy, how could I be jealous? I want to see him happy and smiling! never sad, ever!
>>945 Yeah, it's me. I am a psycho diver, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U2bGc1N2Os who dive into your mind and explore your deep psyche. I suspect hollywood movie Inception borrowed the idea from Psyco Diver series written by Yumemakura Baku. Yumemakura was inspied by me anyway, but it's a secret.
I am trying to remove your obsession with Kamenashi and replace it with obsession with me. However your obessession with Kamenashi is too strong and I'm fighting a life or death battle! And it's me who planted the seed of obsession with kamenashi... It was a mistake...
infant? primary school? How advanced America is! They entered into new phase. Scary. I guess Cho Seung-hui is suprised in hell or heaven. Cho was attending Verginia Tech. Sparky is Attending Louisiana Tech. Next is Lousiana Tech?
>>954 No. You did not plant that obsession seed. I have a built-in obsession mechanism and I choose the target myself. That anime was beyond me unfortunately. I can't stand dubbed anime. I get the impression that you are not Japanese.
はあ Just like a Hinder song tells, I always try to remember to forget him. I'm okay when I'm with my friends but start feeling lonely and helpless after saying bye-bye to them. Listening to Hands by Koudakumi(a type of music I never listened to before...), I feel like wanting to cry every night. I know I'm pathetic....but can't get my mind off him !
>>981 Thanks. Actually It's been more than a month since he left me. I'm slowly getting over him though. >>982 Behave yourself, boy.It seems you think it's cool to use bad language like in the movies bad guys do.
Go cry some more, retarded female cunts. That's the only thing you retarded female cunts can do. Nothing is more retarded than female mongos crying over self-created drama.
Excuse me, I want you to tell me what you say "訳詞家" in English. You know, those who translates the lyrics of English songs into Japanese. It's a bit different from "翻訳家" right?
>>991 In English, you can use "translator" to refer to anyone who translates something. There is no specific word to refer to someone who translates songs.
I'm more perplexed by his fascination with the phrase "female cunt" than anything. If you're going to use the same insult in all your posts, you should at least choose one that isn't inherently redundant.
