I was reading up about north and south korean attacks. Things are getting

Hillbilly is a word for people in the southern states who reside in the countryside and rural areas.
It is derogatory but not as bad as something like white trash.
Think of it like someone who is uneducated and speaks a very slanged and
grammatically incorrect English. The stereotype is that they are not smart
and have no manners. But just a stereotype. It's not good to take stereotypes
to heart.

What operating systems does everyone use? I use Windows but didn't like

You're right, Mac includes anti-aliasing of Asian characters by
default, something that Windows is missing for some reason. But

Well certainly, Macs are easier to use... but I would compare it to a bike with stabilisers. Functional and simple, but that's about it.
Whereas something like Windows would be a motorbike. Much more dangerous, but it does so much more.
If you know what you're doing, everything that can be done on OSX can be done on Windows, and it's far more customisable.
I also think that how nice the Japanese characters look is a terrible basis on which to buy a computer.

Well, イギリス人 pointed out that you can get a better computer for less money compared to a Mac.
A few years ago, Apple fanboys insisted that the processors used in Macs are much better than
the x86 processors used in other PCs.
But nowadays, Macs use the exact same hardware as every other PC you can buy out there.
The only real difference is that Apple's prices are higher.
Macs use EFI instead of a traditional BIOS, but you can get mainboards with EFI from other retailers.
Macs come in shiny white or metallic cases, but you can get something like that from other vendors if that's your taste.

Then there's the point that Macs come with OS X instead of Windows or Linux pre-installed.
But OS X is just an operating system. An OS is just software, it can be erased or newly installed
as you wish. You can run OS X on a non-Apple computer if you buy the right hardware components.
You can also run Linux or Windows on a Mac (because today's Macs are nothing but ordinary PCs, after all),
but why do that when you can instead use a more powerful computer that costs 30% less than even an inferior Apple?

What you said in this paragraph is a half true and a half lie. When it comes to desktop,

I have been a PC user for 10 years and still sometime use PCs when it's necessary.
Before I became a mac user, I also thought mac is a company which sells inferior

Technically, it's grammatically correct, but it's a very odd thing to say. No native speaker would say that.
It's far more natural to say, "I don't know what you mean" or, "I can't understand what you're trying to say".
You could also say, "I don't know what you're talking about" which I reckon is slightly ruder. And if you want to be very rude, you could say "you don't know what you're talking about".
It's also common to phrase the idea that you don't understand (or that they're not making sense) as a question; "what are you talking about?", "what do you mean?", etc.

You could say the same about the Netbook I bought a year ago, an EeePC 1005HA.
More than 10 hours of battery life, LED-lit matte display (I really dislike glossy displays),
practically inaudible HDD and fans most of the time.
It's not powerful at all in terms of CPU/GPU/RAM, but it's more than enough for e-mail, web browsing,,
most videos, slide shows, reading PDFs and writing stuff, which is all I want to do on the go anyway.
All for a price of around $300/25000円 back then. That means I could buy one (or several, for the whole family)
of these in addition to a more powerful computer, with the same money that one single Mac would cost.

I started learning the language mostly by reading comic books and playing video games,
and question marks are used everywhere in those. Many people on message boards,

Frankly I don't know much about TOEIC, but I am sure that good command

interface now that I've figured it out, and it's good that
we have a room that we can all meet in, and the ability
to play with only 3 people.

One will be buried in brimstone.

I once asked our government why they still use IE6 in almost all their
departments. There are two reasons. First, there are so many workstations
which require updating - tens of thousands of them. Secondly, most of their
bespoke web systems don't actually work outside of IE6.

If each department was able to get their IT people to stay back for perhaps
an hour or two after the working day ends, I'm sure an update wouldn't take
so long. And surely these web-based applications should be able to work
cross-browser and not just in one specific one, as that shows signs of
being badly coded up... not really something you want to associate with
the government using.

I don't know about you guys and tech things, but I bet some portion of

I am not that techie person but when I created my website using tiny trick
with stylesheets, IE6 was sometimes in the way. Browsers are interpreters of
various mark-up languages such as html etc, and IE6 does not follow a standard
way of doing it. Because of that, site-makers have to take extra care for IE6

it is pre-installed. They must be victims of MicroSoft's strategy where

More educatiuon is needed to raise awareness that IE sucks but some people
don't care what browser they use. They don't even know there are other browsers.
Downloading and installing other browsers such as FF and Chrome
is high hurdle for people with low PC literacy. It's easy for them to use
their PC as it was when they bought it, IE pre-installed.

The latest version of IE is IE8 but maybe the problem you mentioned hasn't

I think when or whether you get married should foremost depend

thought to himself and is not what the repairman said or thought to himself, although the frame where it is written

That's when the preparatory school student remembered this park is a famouse place

And then they go to the men's room together and in one of the stable(cubicle?)
they had a lot of fun.

The wording "ウホッ!　イイ男・・・" is kind of funny, and "やらないか" is
so sudden, so straight to the point (and funny) and the touch of the comic and the conversation between
the two is funny and entertaining, this comic got very popular when it was
partly scanned and copy and pasted and posted on one Internet forum and then
posted on Futaba channel and then finally posted on 2chan.

This piece was originally included in a gay comic book published in 1987.
I guess at that time, nobody but gay people know or care but thanks to
the Internet, this piece became viral.

I have been thinking that Japanese and English are fairly similar in
their histories.
