How did human beings start to use Language?
How did a language grow into a mechanism like one tree?
How do we build sentences?
What are the common things among all the languages?

4Kazuyoshi Kataoka:2010/08/12(木) 07:40:06
Telling existence, action, state were the [ beginning ] of sentence.
Adding auxiliaries was the second thing.
Connecting one sentence to anaother was the last thing.
This is all about sentences.

The Old Rugged Cross

On a hill far away stood an old [ rugged ] cross,
The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
And I love that old cross [ where the dearest and best
For a world of [ lost ] sinners was slain ].

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.

In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me.

To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I’ll share.

34kazuyoshi:2010/08/19(木) 09:26:44
To bring this to the thread
I am writng a book [ which I wish to publish in the USA ].
How to learn languages, or the mechanism of languages will be the title.
To give an ezxample with English languages;

I am in Washington now. I am in a youth hostel. Many people are from all over the world.
I am an old man. Many people here are young people.
I am a retired man. Many people are university students. Some people are working people.

All these tell existence.
The first thing [ you do in [ learning a language ] ] is [ to tell existence of things as much [ as (it is ) possible ] [ like I said above ].
35kazuyoshi:2010/08/19(木) 09:28:42
The next thing is like the following;

I write a book, Many young people stay at this hostel. People at this hostel go out and see things in the town.
They visit many museums. Washington has many museums. People also visit shopping towns.
They look at things in the shops. They buy things. They buy foods and eat.
They take out foods and eat. They also sit in resyaurants and eat.

These are actions.
Learners must say actions as much [ as possible ].
36kazuyoshi:2010/08/19(木) 09:33:35
The next thing [ to learn ] follows;

Washington is nice. The city of Washington is beautiful. The streets are wide.
Many buildings are beautiful. The main shopping center is clean and spacy and beautiful.
Many people are white. Some people are black. Some people are brown white.
Many people are kind. Many people are merry. Some people are rich. Some people are poor. Some people are happy. Some people are unhappy.

These tell states, and you must practice [ saying states as much [ as possible ] ].
[ When you have practiced these three things [ which are existence, actions and states ] ],
you are already telling lots of things in a foregin language.
[ When you are a good speaker of existence, actions and states ],
you may go to the next stage, [ which is [ using auxiliaries ] ].
[ If you want to take this process with English ],
you must buy 10 formulas of English [ which was published last month ], [ which is July ].

39The man came to the hostel again.:2010/08/20(金) 12:26:28
Watch your belongings!

Around 2 o'clock in the midnight of Sunday morning, in the darkness of our room,
a [ rustling ] sound of a plastic [ shopping ] bag was heard several times,
[ for which I woke up ].
I felt for my half pant trousers [ which I had laid at one side of my pillow and to the wall side ]. It wasn't there.
So I got up. A man was standing on the floor on the other side of my bed and doing something. I looked for my trousers.
40The man came to the hostel again.:2010/08/20(金) 12:27:35
Then the man handed me my trousers [ lying on the floor [ which was not on the wall side ] ].
[ Receiving my trousers ], I checked my pockets.
I had had two small keys in a pocket,
but one of them [ which is for my locker pad lock ] was gone.
I got up and tried to go down from my upper bed
[ to look for the key ].
41The man came to the hostel again.:2010/08/20(金) 12:28:23
Then the man handed the key to me.
I asked the man [ why the key was at him ].
He said [ that both the trousers and the key were on the floor ].
There were no one else on the floor but him
and it was soon [ after I heard the rustling sound of the plastic bag [ which had been laid on my trousers [ so that I could notice [ when my trousers were going to be taken away ] ].
So I insisted it. He said [ they had been fallen on the floor ], and he just went out of our room.
It was an Asian face old man [ whom I had heard saying something in a mean speaking manner in the TV room ].
I saw him for three days. The front desk clerk said [ that I should come to the front desk and point at the man [ when I see him next time ] ].
So far I haven't seen him since this morning.

42The man came to the hostel again.:2010/08/20(金) 12:36:49
Today around 10: 30, I went down to the lobby of the hostel.
The man [ who was going to steal my things were at the front desk to check in!
I talked to him. I told the front desk staff. I asked the police be called.
his staying was cancelled.
He was told by the police to stay at some other hotel. He left.
What thieves do!
How bold faced thieves are!
The police don't try to prevent thefts.
They act only thefts are actually done.
Besides, three thefts having taken since August 6th,
why no mesures are taken to prevent them by the police.
Do police act only after crimes have taken place?
What a world!
