Hey!!! you NEETs, nerds, YouTube-link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis, Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers, Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters, Big-boobs fans, Weeaboos from all over the world, learners of Japanese who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, and cunning linguists. And let's hope the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!
>>1 nice job and go to die! what the fuck is wrong with chatting in japanese? this is japan and japanese language is a most sofisticated language in the human-being history. we should chat in japanese instead of chatting in english. japanese is beautifull!
>>10 I'm a web designer/developer with a database and general admin role as well. Have to design both for web and print, as well as doing the back-end programming. In addition, I have to deal with networks and any problems that happen. And clients. Having to speak to accountants every day. Even though accountants are very dull outwardly, when you have to deal with them, they're extremely bipolar and manic. It's surprising that you don't hear about accountants going on shooting sprees.
Hey folks, what is your New Year's resolution? Someone might have already brought it up but let me ask again. Is there any project you want to work on this year? Any lifestyle change you want or any bad habit to kick? Tell me about your commitment and how you are going to achieve it. "Fuck it" could be one, of course. As for myself, I'm going to quit smoking although I think it's gonna take a lot of will power and discipline. I might use nicotine patches or lozenges for some time, though, if withdrawal is severe enough.
>>14 Hey, welcome back home! We've heard that Europe (including England) is very cold and some are dying, so it's probably a good thing that you get to stay home and do make-over with your hats to your hearts content. Do you think it'll be difficult for you to find the next job, or with your background, it should be easy. I'm asking this because finding a decent job seems to be rather hard in japan these day... Anyway, keep warm and post here if you are ever bord!
While Igirisu-jin is here, I want to ask him if Brits got talen and X factor are two different things. I think the former is where Suan Boyle took an auditon and the latter is also an auditon program, if I'm not mistaken.
The reason why I ask this question is I'm confused a little bit after I read the news that Simon will quit being American Idol's judge and dedicate his time being a judge of X factor. I was like, X factor? Never heard of it. Another audition show? But wait, he is a judge of Brits Got Talent so X factor is another name of Brits Got Talent? IF they are different shows, does it mean he will be a judge of X factor while being a judge of Brits got Talent?
>>43 Thank you! It feels like a huge amount of weight off my shoulders, and tasks are being piled onto my successor, whom I am having to train. I'm trying something a little different for the next job - going into self-employment and selling my services directly. Only time will tell how that turns out... As for the weather, depending on the area, it's been as low as around -25°C. How's your winter been?
>>46 The 'Idol' shows started off as 'Pop Idol', by a British talent manager called Simon Fuller. It's spread pretty far and wide (was watching clips from Ukraine Idol the other day), but is a different show to Got Talent and X Factor.
Pop Idol only lasted two series here before being replaced by Simon Cowell's X Factor. X Factor is pretty much the same format; auditions to try and find a winning musical artist (either solo or a group) through elimination.
Britain's Got Talent (also by Cowell) tries to find people with impressive 'talents', which isn't just singing. As they're both produced by Cowell, he's a judge on both shows.
>>49 Thanks for clarifing things. I thought he was just one of the judges. I didn't know he even produces both the Britain's Got Talent and X factor. I even didn't know he's British. I thought he was an import from America and American Idol is an imoport from America to UK.
>>49 Well, my life has been Ok so far this year, not much change from the previous one, but stable enough. The past week has been cold by my standard, such as down to 0℃, but the forecast says that we'll have very warm days during this week, so it should be very nice. BUT, DPJ's secretary general Ozawa's secretaries have been arrested, and Japan is facing yet another money and politician scandal, which is very bad, because we were fed up with those during the LDP rule, that's why we voted for DPJ hoping for a cleaner government. Now that we know both LDP and DPJ are corrupted, which party should we vote for in the summer upper-house election? Komei-to? or Communist party, maybe...*sigh*
Japan may have the political structure of a democratic nation, but it is at the same time a fiercely carnivorous class society in which the weak are devoured by the strong, and unless you become one of the elite, there is no point in living in this country.
The launch of Nexus might be a buzz over there but here in Japan, market for smart phone is undeveloped including iphone. This is because Japanese cell phones work as smartphone even thoug they look like ordinary clam shell, slider type of phones.
Japanese mibile internet has been developing and advancing very unique way, so it's compared to unique evolution of Galapagos islands.
iPhone can be bought on only one mibile carrier, called Softbank. I'm interested in using iPhone but I have to change carriers so that makes me hesitate to do that. I'm bound by two year contract and in Family discount where you aren't charged with calls and email among family members. Low rate fixed monthly fee is provided.
I always want to try iPhone app and tweeting from iPhone but the reasons I mentioned above and some paperwork to change carriers makes me give the second thought about that.
I guess that reason as follows. Why doesn't a baseball player play a game with shorts like the women softball players, what I wanted to say. If a baseball player played a game with not long trousers but shorts, his skin of knee and thigh would peel off when he slided. In a word, the reason for the baseball player to sweep long trousers to play a game is in order to protect his skin of knee and thigh. On the other hand, if it says about a woman softball player, it seems that her skin doesn't peel off even if she slide with shorts because she has a plump knee and the thigh with thick subcutaneous.
Libido begins to sing its song, shine its colors as night falls upon you. Dawn pushes onto the back of reality, its luminescence then melts into sunshine. One with a humble hentai heart must have a place in their heart where all their dreams and desires come true. And now, the time has once again come to unchain your fantasies and set loose your inner beast. Because you are born free.
You may or may not know but Slim Shady is in all of us.
You know why Tiger Woods flirted with lots of girls? Coz, Slim Shady in him can't resist wispering to Tiger, "Why not have fun with lots of girls?" When it comes to golf, he's deciplined but even he couldn't ignore Slim Shady's whisper.
Before you take an action, you need to distinguish whose voice that is, Superman's in you or Slim Shady in you.
Sex addiction is a a new notion psychiatrists created to rake in more money in their business in my opinion. Let's say I'm diagnosised with sex addiction, there's nothing they can do. That's not something to be cured or anything. That's just a personal preferance for sex in terms of how many times you do.
>>109 Tiger Woods never gets poor game records becasue of what's called "sex addiction," Which I believe he isn't suffering from it at all. Just flirting with lots of girls doesn't mean suffering from sex addiction or anything.
It's mens' instinct to sleep with as many girls as possible. Almost nobody has as much as money Tiger has so not many men can sleep with lots of girls like Tiger.
I'd say sex addiction is an luxurious addiction. Every man wants to have sex with girls but ends up doing masterbation. They all do masterbate but still, they aren't called masterbation addiction. Very funny.
If a man is diagnosised with sex addiction by a psychiatrist, they should masterbate three times before going to work, then all problem is solved. Instead of paying whopping amount of money to a dubious psychiatrist, that's more promising, inexpensive and certain solution.
>>95 That opinion is wrong. And your opinion is too rough. When a man slides, his skin of the knee will tear, because a mans skin of the knee will be placed between the solid earth and a hard bone of knee. However, When a plump woman slides, her knee's damage will be less than a man's knee, because a thick subcutaneous fat plays a role of the cushion to her skin of the knee. Therefore, a man plays a baseball with long trousers though a woman plays a softball with shorts.
>>141 Thank you! I read your post there. I posted additonal questions to make sure if I understand the actors' lines correctly. If you have time, check them out.
>>116 Who is a man who has most stalwart thighs. Would it be the Muay Thai player who is forging his thigh by low kicks everyday? I suppose that a Muay Thai champion is the man who has most stalwart thighs. Well, I have a questions to you. Which thigh, do you think, would break a Muay Thai champion's thigh or a bunch of 8 voluptuous big women's thighs, when hiting against each other? I want to hear your serious opinion.
>>146 I'm afraid, if you are gone a year ago, that means you are already history and nobody remembers you. Why don't you re-introduce yourself for a starter?
Hm. jook was a pretty nice guy with a girl who was studying linguistics, and he took good care of Sparky. Homosexual and prefers black dudes? Maybe, but not that I know of. Anyway how have you been?
I borrowed Amazon Kindle from a friend of mine, and very much impressed with the design and how easy it is on your eyes. I really hope all the PC companies will do the same for their PC screens, so our eyes won't get deadly tired by the end of the day.
Is there a man among you who can win, when you compare your groin with a bunch of 10 plump women's groin. When I would die, I want to compare my groin with a bunch of 10 plump women's groins to die.
Which groin, do you think, tears when comparing by splitting groin, Asada Mao's groin or Kim Yuna's groin in figure skating? I want to get your serious opinion!!
Especially, I want you to compare about both groins minutely. Well, which groin, do you think, tears easily by the megaton pull power, Kimmy or Yuna? If you answered, "Kim", I could recognize that you would have excellent vision. Well, do not you think that which groin tears easily by the pull?
Especially, I want you to compare about both groins minutely. Well, which groin, do you think, tears easily by the megaton pull power, Emily or Yuna? If you answered, "Yuna", I could recognize that you would have excellent vision.
By the wy, when you compare the groins of both, will your penises be erected?
I bought an ona-hall in Amazon with my real name. it was my mistake. if others would know the truth. I can't live my life. I don't think everyone buy porno goods with real name...
>>181 The snow has fortunately cleared. Some days, I was having to hit the ground with a pickaxe to clear the ice, which was about 5cm thick in some places. The local councils were unprepared for such conditions, and the roads were not built for such a climate. After the ice melted, there were huge potholes in the roads, which caused shredded tyres and traffic accidents. It's warming up a little now, though.
Beans on toast is a wonderfully simple meal. It can be nice on a morning, or nice after coming back back home after a cold night's walk from work. On that subject, today was my final day at the company, so now I am NEET.
Hey boys and girls, I got a superb idea. Why don't we mass-masturbate simultaneously to become one yet spread across the universe? Won't that be awesome?
>>184 Hey, congrats and welcome to the world of NEETs!
We also had snow last night even in the Kanto areas, but it wasn't as heavy as forecasted by the weather forecast. But, yes, the situation over here is the same, in that systems are not prepared for abnormalities, such as snow, heavy rains, etc. But then, we have some snow every winter, a few big typoons with heavy rains and droughts evey summer, so in my opinion, they should not be considered abnormal. But every time they happen, the administrations panic because they are not prepared to counter the damage. Anyway, so you'll be working from home for a while maybe, and start hiring people when the business gets on track, or something? Make sure not to sell your hats even if you are NEET now, because you'll regret it, lol
And so I'm offering this simple phrase To kids from one to ninety-two Although it's been said many times, many ways Merry christmas Merry christmas Merry christmas to you
>>149 Hey, you do remember me. I've tried to get in and post occasionally, but I always get the banned message. I was pretty surprised when it finally worked from my school computer. So, now I'll try and check in sometimes, but I'm only at school with computer access once a week, Tuesday nights 6-10pm my time. I guess that's Wednesday, 11am in Japan.
I made love to her for the first time last Sunday. It was what she wanted, I was sure. In a sense, it was she who seduced me. Not that she ever said or did anything overtly seductive. But when I put my arms around her naked body, I knew for certain that she had intended this to happen. She offered no resistance.
My parents are dieing when I was 12 years old. But I'm not feeling sad, because they left a lot of money wich I can buy someting aniy thing or everything that except my family.
>>212 Yes, it's very troublesome. I heard that the cause was a massive spam attack a while ago. It seems like the administrators overreacted though. Banning entire countries is like using a cruise missile to kill a fly.
Have you minutely observed the skin of voluptuous woman's knee? And have you minutely compared skin of your knee and the skin of voluptuous woman's knee? When scrubing the skin of voluptuous woman's knee and skin of your knee for a long time, whether skin of knee, have you thought, peel off sooner? If you have that experience, when caught in that idea, did you feel the impulse to which your penis was erected. I want you to hear the answer by all means.
>>230 What you said is wrong. All sauce Yakisobas are same tastes. Of cource, the source taste Yakisoba is different form the soy sauce taste Yakisoba.

Today I went to the dentist. I found that anesthesia didn't cause pain,no,felt pleasure. I always pull my beards.so my sense of pain becomes pleasure. Yes,I am Hentai.
If my memory serves me correctly, at the time, the Zabuton carrier was a different person, who always said," Raise you hand and cross at the cross walk."
>>250 We really like ramen. It is not too much too say that we have an addiction for it. So you can see lots of small ramen shops run by individuals everywhere in Japan. What about your country?
When you eat the penis made smoked food, would n't it be delicious? And if you took out the spongy body from penis and wraped the minced pork with the penis's skin, Would it be delicious?
>>265 You're moving to America? If you know English it shouldn't be too hard, but I'm not an expert at immigration so you should probably search for answers on Google.
In old times, I heared that Japanease young women had washed while setting up their knee to the river beach. Needless to say, the river beach is the place covered with pebbles. When young women in old Japan washed while setting up thier knee to the river beach covered with the pebbles, was not thier skin damaged? Even if a man similarly washed while setting up his knee to the river beach, his skin would be also safe? I hope you to consider about it today.
Hi, I am an American. Am I welcome to chat with you? I cannot read Japanese, unfortunately, but perhaps I could help with your English? I am an English teacher.
>>282 best neet would mean that he is the best neet not the worst neet would mean that he isn't the worst neet, but also implies that he is not the best neet too. similar meaning to "not bad"
Dear Japanese 2channelers who enjoy speaking English. I suggest you try out your English on an English language BBS! I recommend you post at http://www.secretareaofvipquality.net/saovq/ It is okay if your English is not perfect.
>>312 Thank you for your time to explain the difference. But I meant this, The word NEET has bad image in Japan. So I feel the part 'best' strange. I think 'worst NEET' is more appropriate.
So I simply wondered, how is it like to be the best NEET?
I should have put it this way; there's not much between Lady-Oyajis and Oyaji -Ladies, they're the same in essence. Your speculation is correct, however.
Hello Japanese boob fans. I know you guys love Magibon and Emily for some reason. I really hate them, but since I love you all so much please enjoy the ultimate in annoying large breasted youtube females who try to speak Japanese: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VkRiovdl-A
>>336 Do you happen to be a friend of Magibon? She hasn't been around for such a long time, so we've been wondering what has become of her. If you happen to know anything, please let us know. Thanx.
>>338 Do you Japanese really like 'magibon' or are you trolling? She's an annoying weeaboo (stupid person who wants to be japanese, masturbates to yaoi, and watches anime and so on, and doesn't know anything about the real culture of Japan). She has horrible teeth and is a faggot.
我是一名來自中國大陸的中學生,但是我的日本語不是很好, 希望在這裡結交一些日本中學生朋友 如果願意的話使用英文(English)交流, 希望中國和日本之間能友好相處 I am a chinese student.but my Japanese isn't very well. I want to make friends with some Japanese students. if you‘re willing to.we can use English to have a conversation. Wish China and Japan can get on well with each other よろしくお愿いします
It's not ture. I think if both were students. there would have more interest in common. i don't mind make friends with each other. Only requires friendly exchanges
>>340 Wow, you know so much about Magibon, and still don't claim yourself to be one of her fans? Funny. She liked anime and that's part of our culture, for sure.

Faith's posts reminded me of the days... I once was a member of Skype cuz I wanted to improve my English skills by talking with native speakers. But those who tried to get in contact with me were only Chinese who wanted to learn Japanese or Japanese things. At that time I didn't understand at all why they were so interested in Japan. On the contrary, I thought that Chinese people must hate our country due to their government's anti- Japanese policy. So I was a bit confused to know how friendly they were to me. After all I gave up my goal and I found myself as a Japanese teacher of them.
>>377 What do you think about the recent media-frenzy about TOYOTA? Is this a return of the Japan bashing back in the early 80'? I mean, do you think American car makers are trying to capitalize on this issue to sell their cars?
>>378>>380 i don't think so.as a chinese student. Our English language teaching is very severely. you can find many English ace in student groups. among other things(writing), our spoken pronunciation is more accurate than other non-English-speaking countries Chinese have a wide range of pronunciation. Chat with the friendly Chinese student is a good choice
>>383 >our spoken pronunciation is more accurate than other non-English-speaking countries
Do you live in a cave or something? It is well know the world over that the Chinese has the thickest accent when they speak English. E.g., can you pronounce the words 'Access' or even 'Sex' properly?
>>384 I'm not >>149 but I remember you, too. That's the car where you enjoy car sex with Orochon ramen addicted girlfriend of yours, my memory serves right. I wonder if you still go out with her. Or she flirted with one of her students who study English as second language.
>>383 How are the reactions of your firends and you on Google's withdrawal from China? I heard Google's search results have changed since they announced retreat from China. Is that true? Have you tried searching Dalai Lama and Tiananmen on Google?

>>396 Oh yeah? You are a menace for Taiwanese. They want Mainland China to leave them alone. Ethincally, Han Chinese and Tiwanese are different. So it doesn't make sense that Taiwan becomes part of China.
Seriously, it Taiwanese people had to choose China and Japan to belong to, they'd choose Japan. Japan used to colonize Taiwan. But Japan's treatment to Taiwanese people are different from that of other imperialist countries such as France and British. Taiwanese people remeber good old days of Japan's occupation. Japanese people never treated Taiwanese like slaves.
What old generation of Taiwanese people remeber is every Japan's aid to modernize Taiwan such as railroad.
like the USA.china is a multinational country. ordinary chinese is Very enthusiastic to Taiwan people This is not only for business purposes. Emotional factors are the most important and the "china threat" theory in the world's public opinion From the negative side to proved China gradually stronger up We are very friendly,we are not dangerous!!!
I was trying out Omegle a couple weeks ago, and ended up talking to a Chinese guy. He asked if I could search for a news story about President Hu Jintao's son in Namibia, involved in a corruption probe. It seems like such news is censored in China, which is why he was forced to ask in an anonymous chat website.
Tried the chatroom but it's not for people who want to have decent conversation. Lots of people there wanna a cyber. Right after you get in the chatroom, in most cases they ask asl. You know what I'm talking about.
>>404 You might get a decent conversation from one person out of 20. You're right, though, everyone else is all "asl" or "R U HORNY??" or "m/f?" or "got a cam?". The day before yesterday I was talking to an Iranian web developer, who was extremely anti-Islam. I didn't know such people existed. You never hear about them in the media. He started typing obscenities every time Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was mentioned.
>>406 On that note, do local British people go to church evey Sunday? I was wondering if religion has anything to do with poeple's daily lives over there, except for some special events such as Christmas etc.
>>407 Church attendance is lowering at a steady rate. Although around 58% of the population claim Christianity as their religion, only 15% actually attend church at least once a month. In fact, the UK has the 4th lowest church attendance rate in Europe, ahead of only Hungary, France and Denmark.
Religion doesn't really play a large part in our lives. We hear a lot about the Church of England complaining about things, but that's about it. Politicians go on about their religion sometimes, which is silly - I still believe that state and religion should have nothing to do with each other.
>>408 Thanx very much for the info. I don't know the statistics but the situation is similar in Japan. When people from overseas come to Japan, they tend to expect some religious aspects in our behavior. Some go even further and try to relate things that are different from what they are familiar with to Zen, Buddhism or Shintoism, which, to our eyes, very bizarr. I guess it's like relating the elevenses to some religious beliefs, lol~
>>411 I disagree! I thing politics and religions are very suitable topics for annonymous boards like this, because we can get more frank opinions and avoid getting hurting each other because we are strangers anyway.
BTW, what would you like God say to you when you arrive at the pearly gates?
I'd think that people feel safe in categorizing things. Good example is the blood-type categorization which is quite prevalent in Japan, although actually there is no scientific ground for it.
Seen from more primitive level, all kinds of living things have to take quick reactions against their enemies to survive. In order to do so, fixed pattern of behavior is needed, which may influences our way of thinking.
The punk kid's distribution is also important. The following are how to press my "Failure work that being possible to do is bad" against the other party by the trial. It's really silly arguing like this on Youtube. Completely waste of time. What do you think about her English? I'd like to know if her English sounds good. I'm not asking about her pronuciation. Her pronuciation was influenced by her British or Irland friends she met when they were studying in Arkansaw, US.
Except her pronuciation, I wonder how she sounds to native English speakers. She doesn't pause much when speaking English but what about her choice of words and expressions and all that? It's sure she's better than me but I want to know how she sounds to native English speakers ears.
>>433 I agree, those sorts of videos are silly. She makes some mistakes, but I can understand what she's saying just fine. Her accent is definitely influenced by the American accent.

Oh, I had forgotten this thread. Are there native English speakers here? I posted my reading English in another thread on 2ch, but if some of you speak English natively, I guess I should've posted it here...
Anyway, I just started working on speaking skills. How are you learning pronunciation and such?

>>458 Sorry, but I don't understand what you're trying to say. Actually I can't tell if you're serious. Do you speak Japanese? If you do and it's ok to speak Japanese here, why don't you post it in Japanese?
Yeah, it could. But it doesn't make sense to use a machine translator or write incomprehensible English without translation when we're supposed to practicing writing here. But then again, I'm not a lurker or poster. Are those posts normal here? How am I supposed to understand them?
I wonder why the old woman couldn't take the story between her and Kennedy to grave without exposing them to public eyes.
Is it about money? Is it about attentinos? Is it about obligation to let everybody know JFK isn't perfect and ideal man? Is it about grudge against him?
I've jsut asked a question in the thread linked above. If you have time, please come and answer. The question wasn't originally mine. I tried to answer it but I couldn't. So English speakers help is needed. It's about lyrics. Thanks.

I don't think so. I suppose the attack in this time is much simpler than that. it likes.. everybody can take part in the attack by using the tools or something like that.

What do you think of Toyota's president hearing in US sanate? He is the grandson of the founde of Toyota although he looks just like run of the mill man. He shed tears at the meeting with dealers in US market. What is your impression on a top of a big comapny shed tears when TV crew were there. Is it considered to be a weak man and taken negatively? I think American is a country where a man always have to be confident and strong and crying in public is out of question.
>>586 My English is very poor, however, I will try to reply about your topic. I am proud of Toyota as one of Japanese because Toyota is leading company. As you told, I think that the president of the company shouldn't have cried.
Since he was took over the company from his father, he doesn't understand co-worker's effort. I guess that he isn't an engineer and he thinks only benefit.
No, for the most part he was not seen as weak, but sympathetic. Crying in situations where the worst has happened is acceptable, and to be fair he's indirectly responsible for 39 deaths. It takes strength to bear grief without fearing the reprisals of others.
Agreed. He's run-of-the-mill in terms of speech and looks. Also, his English is pretty broken. Good try, but you have to strain to figure out a few words.
Sobbing or shedding tears doesn't really explain away or excuse the liability of a business entity. I think it was a totally unprofessional conduct and he did a hideous job of presenting Toyota at the public hearings. But I still like Toyota.
A Japanese critic on TV explained that America likes being No.1 in every area. They can't accept being No.2 and No.3.
He explained Kawasaki, Japanese motorcycle manufacturer once became No.1 in US and was bashed by American. This time TOYOTA. TOYOTA passed GM in sales in the world (maybe sales in US, too?) last year and automobile industry is a hear and soul of American so Amercans take this TOYOTA's trouble a big chance to bash them.
Of coursae TOYOTA tries to blend in U.S. by many ways such as donating money to local organiazations, becoming a sponsor of philanthoropy and such and some American people think it's like an American company already. But for some, TOYOTA is still a foreign company that drew America from No.1 position of Car manufacturing and the object to hate.
What do you think about the critic's evaluation about American's feeling about TOYOTA?
i agree. if americans aren't 1st in something, theydon't want to hear about it. they even rewrite history so it looks like they are the best at everything (e.g. ww2), but i guess a lot of other countries do that
>>593 No, i mean there is always proper way to manipirate machine those reaction of american congress are completely ridiculous unless mechanical failure exsist
are there any responsibilities to toyota when customer causes accelerator stucking by their inproper floormat usage?
Well, it looks like it's somewhat of a witchhunt that Congress set up, and the US media has been hyping it so far. But I guess they had to do it, now that they have GM (Government Motors) that needs some help.
In Japan, why particular companies are given government's assist? although many companies collapsed these days. Its unfair. Those companies have brought it on themselves.
Fuckin Politician, Do not use our tax for stupid companies.
Congratulate Asada Mao on your silver medal!! The match in Olympics would be the final conclusion of the life and bottom-line at the history of mankind even though you cried or laughed. Whatever you say will be just a howl of the underdog. Very congratulate Asada Mao on your silver medal!! Gyahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
>>603 It's not unfair at all. The auto maker is the leading company in Japan. If it stumbles, the others may stumble too, which causes Japan collapses.
Congratulate Kim Yu-na on your gold medal! You are the highest skater in history of mankind. According to hear, Kim Yu-na seems to bacome a martial artist.
>>608 Japan is a nation of economy. Without economy, almost all Japanese are just animals. When Japanese economy collapses, Japan itself collapses. We have to prevent that by all means.
As you well know, Japanese economy is operating under Keiretsu system, the world class competitive company' tottering causes everybody's stumble. If I collapsed, that would be a very trifling matter for Japan.
>>615 Large companies still usually have the mentality of the life-time-employment system, so those who have become the employees of those companies, their life i.e. payment is protected, in principle. In that sense, the group benefit is tend to be esteemed, because large companies usually have subsidaries (=group companies).
>>615 The major Keirestu industrial companies like TOYOTA actually brought us economic prosperity. Employee's value is nothing to do with it. Employees are merely mechanical parts of the companies.
But, where are the criteria of whether company deserve to be protected or not? How large is it? How many should they have subsidiaries? I cound't find any distinct criteria. Is that decided by politician's feeling at that time?
Anyone who truly believes they run the country to follow democracy is an absolute idiot. It's not people at all, not exactly politicians either, but it's the bureaucrats who have the major influence on a decision. They're deeply tied with giant corporates to supposedly redistribute profits to the public by supporting them, but it usually goes as far as corruption and that's how we feed each other.
>>621 I meant adult Japanese citizen(eligible people). We voted for the politicians, so they are qualified to decide things. >>622-623 If so, we are decayed too.
>>614 Japan is not a nation of economy but a nation of masturbation. Almost all Japanese are animals going mad to the lust even if they develop economically. It would be time when they saw Kim's hip by all Japanese if Japan collapsed. At that time, All Japanese would pull their pants down and grip their agly penises.
99.9% of Japanese women are not human. Rather, 99.9% of the women in the world are not human. They are female insects.Being able to call human is only 0.1 % of women. I hate female insects and not interested in them at all. It is only female human that I am interested.
By the way, my lover Hakkina is just female human♪♪♪
Seriously, just sell off half of the US treasury bonds Japan owns and start buying gold instead. They aren't functioning as foreign exchange reserves anymore.
>>645 But that will cause the US to collapse (even worsen the current situation), which will surly have a nagative ripple effect the world-over, so it's probably better to keep the US treasury bonds.
Strong yen indicates huge demands for Japanese products. As long as Asian riches continue buying Japan, we are still safe. When MADE IN JAPAN loses its luster, most of us are going to be a WORKING POOR.
No, you need to be able to speak Portuguese to be able to work at the TOYOTA plants.
I meant any job. Although some people are complaining that the Hello Work does not find them jobs, that actually is not true. There are tones of jobs out there, and some of them are facing shortage of work-force. So if one is really serious about finding a job, it is possible to fine one, and can contribute to the society however minor it seems.
Toyota should just tell them: If your accelerator pedal sticks and you're too stupid to shift the car in nuetral or don't know how to properly shut it off, you deserve to be thrown out of life. Just don't drive.
Sorry, 658 was a response for 656. >>657 Obtaining a driver's license is pretty hard in Japan. That means we Japanese have some skills and knowledge for driving safety. So even if a car has some mechanical defects, we can deal with the car, avoiding accidents. However, how about in America? I hear there are some monkey-level drivers.
For those who have no clues what happened yesterday, that was collective cyber attack by Korean Internet users. As many as 50 thousands or more Korean kept reloading 2ch countelss times from past noon for hours yesterday to numb 2chan's servers. The company taking care of 2chan's servers in U.S. decided to cut off all the servers of 2chan from the Internet(not certain in detail, maybe I'm wrong with this cut off part.) so all 2chan users spent 2chan-free day yesterday, which I think was pretty good thing, especially for 2chan addicted people.
The story behind yesterday's incident is the Olympics female figure skating competition. As you may know Kim Yona(korean) won the gold followed by Mao Asada's(Japanese) silver. Japanese 2channelers are complaining about the standard of judging system of figure skating. Some was critical of Kim Yona and her performance. (Actually even some skating experts raise their voices to change the standard saying judges should evaluate more technical skills of a performance. (Mao Asada succeeded triple axels three times (or so) for the first time women's figure skating history. No one had succeeded it even once.
Somehow Koreans got to know critical comments in 2chan to Kim Yona and they decided to do the cyber attack. Of course this isn't the first time they attacked 2chan and 2ch's servers went paralyzed.
yea, actually 2ch servers hosted by american company. I'm glad to hear >>671s news. Korean is cancer of the world.
In Japan. We can hear lot of favorable things about korea in recent years. but on the other hand we have also heared Korean is the most notorious ethnics in the world.
How about Korean reputation in your country? In other countries, I have seen the same opinion that I mentioned above through Internet.
>>682 to be honest, I usually do not care about them at all even when they complain about Japanese. That's minute thing to me. I wonder why they are so enthusiastic about bashing Japan. Are they taught that Japan is evil or something like that in their school?
One of things I can clearly say is our impression to them keeps deteriorating every incident like this time.
They're gonna face the consequences of what they caused to the 2ch servers. A massive bot-based attack can get you in serious trouble. Those morons went way too far with this one.
694 :Anonymous@Native English Speaker:2010/03/03(水) 07:46:26
>>672 This was quite an informative post, thank you for the information! >>681 The online English equivalent of "w" would be "lol," "wwwwwwww" would be "rofl," "lmao," or "lololol." If you need to look it up: "lol" stands for "laughing out loud," "rofl" stands for "rolling on the floor laughing," and "lmao" means "laughing my ass off."
The Sankei newspaper in Japan claims confusion on why Asada Mao lost to Kim Yu Na. These kinds of issues obviously made Korean users clash with the Japanese on the Internet. DC Inside (www.DCInside.com) a rather big community website in Korea had a poster that was spread like forest-fire among its users. An anonymous Korean user even created a cyber cafe to organize a Korean cyber “force army” for the symbolic day of the March 1st Movement.
>>700 im a japanese, too. thank you for your answer.
im studying english to improve my english skill, but theres little chance to communicate with others living here in japan. so i was looking for chances to talk with someone in english.
i will make use of this fantastic thread, so YOROSHIKU ONEGAI SHIMASU.
>>702 you can find many places where you can learn Real English on the internet. for example Bulletin board of foreign country is much better than here. as you can see contributors to this thread are Japanese and people who pretend foreigner.
if you go to an english forum, keep in mind that you shouldn't pick up any bad english habits because most native speakers speak english wrong anyway. it's a bit like coming to 2ch and learning japanese from 2ch slang
As you know, today English users account for 30-40% of the total net users and English plays a very important role on the internet.
Until now, I have made effort to memorize English words to talk with those English users over the internet and to get a lot of information in English. (I also learned necessary English slang phrases. for example, 'ASAP', 'j/k', 'ain't', 'ttyl', 'lmao', 'GTFO' blah, blah, blah...) In fact, I thought I had memorized words enough to read almost anything.
But the world is a wide place...
Just a few days ago, I browsed '4chan' for the first time. (4chan is the very huge and popular bulletin board in the English-speaking sphere. It's just like 2ch, I think.) And I was so surprised that there were literally hundreds of unknown English slang phrase there. Can you guys understand the following words? 'loled', 'fag', 'weeaboo', 'troll', 'moar', 'winrar'
>>707 "loled" means i laughed out loud "fag" is an insult used for gay people "weeaboo" is an insult for people who likes anything from japan (it's stupid, i know) "troll" is a person who says something just to made other people angry. for example, someone who goes onto a japanese board and says japan deserves to get nuked again "moar" is a stupid way of saying more "winrar" is a program that uncompresses files. for some reason, people use it to say winner
using any of these will make you look like a retard. please don't say any of them
Tennessean dissappeared from this threat? When? Then the most loyal foreigner here will be イギリス人. Is he happy about Canada's successful results at vancouver olympics? Canada is his another homeland. Canada collaborated with kim yuna and succeeded in kicking out asada. Some oversea experts casted doubut on kim's score but none made grudge and criticism on TV in japan. like asad did very well but kim was perfect, asada should be proud of the medal. on the internet, as you can see, kim's score is regarded as sort of joke and koreans attacked 2ch server.
I heard that former gold medalist arakawa made a slip of the tongue and unconsciously said "what? extreme high socre" when hearing the result of kim's short program score and arakawa shook her head a little. Arakawa then realized she maed a mistake and TV camera tunred to another scene. Arakawa never made a mistake after that.
Finally I could get connected with 2ch cuz of massive F5 attack by about 100 thousand insane Koreans, and I've been really sick and tired of it. I'm convinced that what Koreans did to 2ch proves how selfish and childish Korean race is. Hope they'll be arrested by the US ASAP. That's all Japanese wish.
>>717 I've never been to the western parts of Canada, but might one day. Must admit that I didn't catch much of the Olympics, but am quite happy with what I did see. Watched some of the figure skating, as well as the finals of curling and ice hockey. People in the UK seem quite content with the one and only gold medal Britain won (the only medal, really) in the skeleton bob.
>>722 Perhaps he has retired after making millions, living in luxury. His ghetto upbringing is but a distant memory. Either that, or he's taken poison.
>>723 Have you lived on the eastern part of Canada? Is it Quebec? Did you live in the part of Canada surrounded by french culture? I remember you are of french ancestry too, may be one fourth or so. Is it from you mother's line? OH, I remember your father was canadian diplomat. So french blood must come from your father. Can you speak french?
As Igirisu-jin said Noriaki earned millions of pounds, dollars and yen by releasing smash hit after smash hit, climbing always to the top of UK, U.S charts. He even played a few leading roles in Hollywood movies and one of which was directed by himself, costarring with Angelina Jolly. He even flirted with her during the shoot without Brad Pitt knowing it. Noriaki's Charisma makes Bradd Pitt look like just an ordinary man. On top of that, NORIAKI is da REAL.
He sang in front of Queen Elizabeth and BBC played his mega hits each and every show even during news shows. I think he's sailing around equator in Pacific ocean on his private cruiser with gorgeous women with big boobs. He spends paparazzi-free life and must be very happy.
Evee he has become a rech man, he never forgets where he came from and he still has a sharp eye for what's real and what's not.
>>732 No, he's a baby boy. He's the youngest. Loves Hirosue Ryoko. Loves to bake a chocolate cake. Loves Fu-un Takeshi jou. He has a mixi account. He once sneaked into Russia as a MI6 agent to meet a Bond Girl there.
Correct. However, while it is slang, it is business slang and considered appropriate to use in emails and other formal address. It sounds a little strange to use it in a conversation, however.
Now, I am a native english speaker. Does anyone wish for some assistance with their studies?
And a question, for our brothers in the North Pacific: What do you think of New Zealand?
>>740 You shouldn't say gaijin though from Japanese view point it doesn't contain any hatred and malice to foreigners at all, but some foreigners who is living in Japan think it's an offensive word. I'm not sure why though.
>>738 You mean, he is the one who trained Kim Yona to skate perfectly as a Bond Girl? No wonder he's quit his job. He had to go to Vancouver. Now I understand.
Acording to CNN, American User of Toyota claim again that they have still had acceleration problem after fixing at dealer. How long last these witch hunt? so far, no one proved or demonstalated those problems which sudden acceleration caused by electrical malfunction.
Does any Americans said "shame on you, X" to American auto makers when there was a blowing up problem or something like this problem? I can't belive that cars suddeleny blow up and you will be in fire. lol
I saw a hearing on internet without japanese translation.
I couldn't catch much about the s. But i could tell that relays between toyota president and questioners through a translater didn't go well. It was my impression that especially when a black with distinctive ebonic? accent talked to toyota president, talks were likey to stall and get tangled. If so, which do you guys think was at fault for the unsmoothness of the talks?
In my opinion the black politician seemed to be inconsistent and unrational.
>>760 Maybe some americans are waiting for japanese to blowup and strike a pearl harbor attack. Japanese should be patient and keep distance from the trap.
If japanese was thought to go as far as koreans, Americans would be more prudent enough no to hurt japanese feelings.
Don't bother watching American news channels. Our news programs are a joke. Because the news industry is a business, they just report whatever will draw viewers and cause controversy.
Even The Daily Show reports more actual news, and it's a comedy program.
Don't try to gauge the general public opinion by watching news programs. You might as well rely on YouTube comments!
Ha, not a bad pun. It's just called New Zealand because the first European to discover it believed it seemed a great deal like a Dutch provence called Zealand. Hence: New Zealand.
I wouldn't mind. I'd be a foriegner over there, so I'd be called a Foriegner. I'm not some batshit insane weeaboo who thinks he'll be revered as the next Emperor for knowing a few anime catchphrases.
As for maori or samoan or polynesian earning in Japan, they are mostly rugby playres, as far as I can see on TV. I don't have good feelings toward them. They constantly feature nerwpaper for their violnece act, robbery, raping and so on. Rugby seems to be gentleman's sport in the U.K. But it seems to be not true in south pacific. The situation is true in japan too. In japan people are allowed to do rugby if they are physically strong enough. Rugby players are the one who get the most media coverage for homo video, gang raping and so on. They are always students though, which is different to adult polynesian players's case.
We must not forget Konishiki, former champion of sumo. He is very popular in japan for his comical and affectionate character.
I said above but I personally don't like him. lol I think his manner is very blunt and he is a shrewd man, hiding his true opinions. He seems to have some grudges against japan, but he earns millions of dollars from japan and now live in hawaii with japanese wife.(konishiki is also japanse on paper though) I don't know why he is depicted as adorable guy in the media. His way of saying sounds very blunt and arrogant.
We shouldnot forget hawaian's contribute to sumo. I prefer musashimaru to konishiki. Musashimaru is cute and adorable.
Hmmmm. It is a little dismissing of the culture. The Haka (War-dance) is almost sacred, it is performed at the beginning of Major and Sporting events as a cultural symbol. It's fine to use it in commercials involving sports events (The link I will place below), but to use it simply to advertise coke insults its meaning. They do not want the Haka to be the next Christmas.
^ I am aware that it's a whiskey ad, but it retains the meaning of the Haka: Being as manly as possible to terrify the opposition. Plus, Penis-scare!
Ah, the islanders and Maori tend to feature towards the same thing here, but don't think that they're like that as a whole. The intelligent ones love their families, respect their peers and work as hard as anyone else.
Rugby is an everyman sport in New Zealand, like Cricket. Gentlemen's sports are Golf and Bowls (A cross between bowling and Petanque). We always make fun of the Americans about it, because their favorite sport (American Football) is a much weaker version (Tackles are lighter, and scrums do not exist), but they still have to wear padding and protection. It is not manly. Rugby players only wear a mouthguard, and sometimes a thin rubber helmet.
As for the students, well, perhaps we can blame it on the folly of youth?
Perhaps it is because he is blunt and arrogant that he is considered adorable? We in the west tend to view such things as forthrighted-ness (When you do not accept weak excuses for poor results) or childishness (When it is an immature kind of arrogance, like narcissism).
I do not follow Sumo wrestling so much, I'm afraid. I follow fencing and blood-sport.
Fat people are okay, but sometimes I don't understand how they can let themselves get into that situation. You'd think the constant cries of 'Tebbe! Tebbe!' would be enough of a hint.
What is blood sport? Is it like MMA? Have you ever heard of Martial Arts Event in Australia called Xplosion ? Xplosion was started by japanese karateka Ray Matsumura. Is it popular? I just happen to hear of Xplosion because I am interested in martial arts events a little bit stronger than average Japanese. I don't know exactly what they are doing. They seem to mix kickboxing and the grappling style in their rule. Xplosion is not widely known in Japan even though it was intiated by Japanese. Ray Matsumura is not a celeblity in Japan.
XPlosion was reported to be a big event on a minor media but it may have been an exaggeration.
I'm curious about how the people in the US feel anti-US activities in korea such as burning stars and stripes. In my opinion burining foreign countries' flags is one of the worst and lowest deed in the world. I think we are in the same boat for some reason. Koreans should be punished by Japanese and american troops again.
A blood sport is a sport that will have bloodshed and wounding in it, like naked-edge swordfighting or premier boxing. Animal hunting is considered blood sport, and after living in New Zealand for a few years, you will end up with a few friends who like to take vacations in the Wilderness of our country to shoot wild pigs (That are easily capable of killing a man and grow very large) and deer, as these animals are pests and you will be rewarded by the government with a small portion of cash for proving you killed it.
I haven't heard of Xplosion, but it sounds like Mixed-Martial-Arts, which is becoming popular over here as well.
It's amusing, because in Denmark the only way to properly dispose of a flag is to burn it. I do not think you mean the South Koreans deserve to be invaded, but the Western world agrees with the East, North Korea is a threat to all. We will wait until the leader dies of cancer (Which is likely soon) and step in while the leadership is in chaos (All the generals will infight for power, making them weak).
We are concerned with the nuclear missiles that N. Korea may have, so we cannot just rush in. However, N. Korea has gone mad and may just launch one in an attack, so vigilance is the watchword.
>>776 A wild pig you mentioned get as big as these ones.
What does it feel to have many people in other countires (ie. British, American, etc.) who speak the same language as you? We can't imagine that. If Japan won the World War II, people of some countries in east Asia and south east asia currently speak Japanese.
Any specific differences you Kiwis recognize about English in other countries? I guess you guys, Ameican, British, Ausies and Kiwis are joking about each countries English , behaviors, customs, etc.
Yeah, about that big. Pigs are big business done here, they eat all the native birds.
I feel that even though we speak the same language, it's pretty alien to us at some stages. Take, for example, the Canadians. They would seem a little strange because of the way they drive, the way they speak, the different customs they have, almost as if they were never a colony.
The British would be a little easier. We're the closest colony (In terms of relations, definitely not distance. In fact, the other name for the New Zealand isles is 'Antipodes', meaning 'As far away from London as you can get)) and our cultures are very similiar. However, in sports and choice of entertainment (The British are acknowledged as the best in Satire and Sarcasm) we are still very different. We're connected, but only like a Grandmother and her favorite Granddaughter. (Traditionally, England, New Zealand and America are viewed as women when it comes to countries.)
Most jokes about Britain here are either about Tea, upper-class aristocrats (Britain is generally viewed as high-class) Or about their celebrities.
America? We don't like America very much. We refused to make ourselves a target in the Cold War by preventing America from keeping its nukes in our ports, so they broke off their defense and free trade treaties with us. Then there was the Vietnam war, The Korean War, Gulf wars 1 and 2, and so on. And then there's the culture: Even to us, Americans are considered loud, rude and crass. The food is too big and too greasey, the news is censored and controversial, and the stigma unpleasant.
However, Obama has pledged to disarm America's nukes. If he actually goes through with it and reconsiders the Treaty, it would be Worth a thousand first steps to NZ. We respect wisdom, regardless of the source.
>>777 Australia is either the Big Brother of New Zealand, the friendly cousin, the fierce, loved rival or the 'West Island' (Meaning 'Just another part of us that we own'), depending on how close we feel at the time. In all sports, all science, all economy, all trade and all diplomacy; Australia and New Zealand are always trying to be better than the other. Most of our jokes about each other involve sex with sheep. A good example is Free-trade agreements. Australia made a very lucrative agreement with Japan, so New Zealand tries to get a bigger, better one at the same time. Australia got the strong market of Japan, New Zealand received the many mouths of China, which worked out well. (Our exports are mostly a massive amount of food, clothing, metal and lumber, perfect for China's expansionist economic policy.)
Sometimes we fight over serious issues, like the Coalition of the Willing (Aus joined, we didn't) but that never strains the relationship too long. Anyone with a NZ citizenship can freely (You have to pay the airfare, obviously) travel to Aus, and vice-versa. We also fight like cats in a sack over little things like who first invented the Pavlova (A very delicious desert), who Concord Dawn, Split Enz and Catchafire belong to (Very big bands), who has a better accent, who is stronger (Aus is big and powerful, NZ is small and fast) and who has the most powerful SAS (The most elite special force agents in the world). But it's all in good fun, our rivalry is mostly a joke (Unless it's a sport, in which case you must run away, because arguments and fistfights are very common in bars on the night of the Bledisloe Cup or the Tri-nations).
i don't know why but i loled, i don't understand why the word 現実 isn't translated though

If Japan had won WW2, then we would be speaking Japanese as well. Without Australia and the USA, New Zealand's only defense is its isolation. Capturing Australia would have meant that you would only have to send ships from Brisbane and Sydney and that would be it for us. You'd probably be eating our Pacific Rose Apples every day.
I think that it's sometimes amusing to think about the world history in terms of "if." The future is something that's already fixed and everything is destined to move according to the intentions of someone or some kind of insitutions that governs our world. You may say that's a conspiracy theory but that is a fact and nobody can go against it.
Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam And the deer and the antelope play Where seldom is heard a discouraging word And the skies are not cloudy all day
Home, home on the range Where the deer and the antelope play Where seldom is heard a discouraging word And the skies are not cloudy all day
>>776 N. Korea absolutelly sucks. it's like a gangster organication. S.Koera is also terrible in particular as for Japan. What I meant earlier is Korea should be criticized by the world about their arrogance and rudeness in near future. As you might know, Korean patriotism is getting higher and higher nowadays because of economic growth or something. like these videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAdftws0XJU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTM3rfNHm0U
They think Korea is the center of the world and everithing they do is forgiven as long as they show their patriotism. And they never appreciated the technology assistance and billions of dollor assistance of Japan and the US. To make matters worse korean gorverment is hiding those truth and the people in korea think korean economic growth was achieved only by itself, and they just criticized Japan about WW2 and the US about Korean war without taking it into cosideration that Japan and the US helped Korea financially, politically and technologically after WW2 and a lot of Japanese prime ministers apologized to Korea for WW2 more than 20 times. No wonder Japanese are sick and tired of Korea. I'm really envirous of the relationshop between New zealand and Australia.
>>778-779>>781 Thank you very much for your observation. Very intersting to read and informative. It's interesting to know how Kiwi see the other English speaking countries and the rivalry with Australia. I heard one joke which relates to the fact that there're lots of flies there. What abot NZ? Are there lots of flies? Maybe sterotype.
Those pig doesn't seem to run very fast, still they can catch birds? You're talking about birds which can't fly such as Kiwi? (obviouly meanig the name of the bird, not meaning New Zealanders) Are they violent? Do they attack human when they encounter human in the wild? If they rush to human, no chance to win except when you have a gun.
Hmmm. This relationship between countries is something I have seen once before: England and France are in (Or at least used to be) exactly the same situation as China and Japan. Both are historical enemies, both are among the favorite targets of the other, and while France is considered the most arrogant of European nations- - (They blew up NZ peacekeeping ships in the 80s to prevent obstruction of their Atomic testing on our atolls, they still refuse to apologize). However, just because they're proud (And possibly a little underinformed) is no reason to threaten them with violence. You'd be surprised how much damage indirectly offending import/export businesses can do to an economy. To coin the Western phrase, if S. Korea is truly acting as you say, then no action is required, natural circumstances will make sure they 'Eat humble pie'.
Can we please not discuss WW2? It is not a taboo subject over here, but while we do not care who won or lost, we are sorrowful at the innumerable deaths, both ours and our wartime enemies'.
I'm somehow wondering how N. Korea gets its food, the Penninsula does not appear to have much in the way of good soil. But a country that big needs to be fed.
And I'm glad you like the idea of our relationship. But you cannot make such a relationship between countries without letting go of your prejudice. Joke about their country, but above all else do not forget to joke about yours. Humour is a greater force for peace than any treaty or trade.
Ha, yes, it's not so much of a joke, that's why the stereotypical Australian hat has corks hanging from it: To knock away the flies as you move. Australian flies are more than a nuisance, because they bite and draw blood, very conductive of disease. In NZ there are an average number of flies, I guess. However, it is as noisy as a city everywhere because of all the birds and cicadas. Some Aucklanders have had to use earplugs when taking walks through the Domain- -(A park in the centre of the city) because there are so many Cicadas chirping that you can suffer damage to your hearing after a minute of walking. The birds are mischievious, like your mythical fox. The Fantail is so agile and swift that if you walk down Queen St with a box of French Fries in your hand- - you can lose about seven chips and feel nothing more than a gust of air by your face as the little devil swoops in to steal them. And there is the South Parrot, the Kea, - -who can strip a parked car of its antennae, rubber seals, door handles, windshield wipers and sometimes even your rearview mirrors. They love to have fun, but it's expensive for the tourist!
As for the pigs? They are slow, yes, but they can hold their breath and swim quickly. Say there is a stream, the sides are covered with a type of frond-weed, making the bottom invisible. A bird lands on the fronds, kicking its legs to both stir up the mud underneath for fish and remove any leeches. The pig simply swims up with its mouth open and crunches its teeth together.
Instant death. It sinks, still chewing, and all that's left are a few feathers, a gap in the weeds and a small circle of bloodstained water.
That is a NZ pig.
They are very violent, but keep far away from man and will generally only attack if shot or if it is a mother pig with piglets. If it sees you and attacks and you cannot shoot it in the brain, it will kill you. Then it will eat you, including the bones, and you will simply be another man lost to the wilderness of New Zealand.
The newest info about cyber terrorrism by Koreans.
Dear Customers and Users of PIE.us
Today on March 4th at 9:30am PST PIE.us staff visited FBI San Francisco to provide records of attacks on 2/28/2010 and 3/3/2010 to their "Cyber Crime Specialists".
PIE.us has also contacted FBI office in Tokyo and Seoul over the phone to express our sincere concerns on possible future attacks against U.S. corporation.
We have included not only a list of IP addresses but also patterns of attacks, what portal(s) it was led by、 different protocols used to attack multiple servers on PIE.us network with automated scripts.
Also、 there are many blogs written in Japanese and Korean stating the involvement of an attack. We have documented many blogs to help specify whom some attackers are.
We cannot comment further about this ongoing investigation and what method we are using to detect these criminals. If more technical issues arise that affect our network services、 you will be notified.
At last、 we would like to ask everyone who has attacked、 and/or is planning to attack tomorrow to halt all actions. PIE.us will be on "code red" which is the highest alert level along with our partners from Asia and the U.S. to focus on defending our network.
The sole reason for PIE.us reporting to FBI is not for a revenge、 nor wishing anyone to be arrested. We are just wishing these types of hate activities to stop around the world.
Acorrding to some articles on online newspapers, Koreans are planning to launch F5 attack to 2ch again tomorrow. But plese refrain from taking a revenge to any Korean websites. just calm down and wait and see.
Of course, I'll learn both. I must save anti-japan's lovers from the wasting their life. Their anti-Japan's activity is useless. It is my love for them. And I can learn English. We both will become happy.
I'm also used to arguing with them. on anti-Japan-related videos of youtube. I even made some English-subtitled videos to let the people in the world know how Japan is suffering from anti-Japan by Koreans online and in real life. But I'm sick and tired of it nowadays. cuz most of anti-Japan koreans are trollers and they never changed their political ideology. I think it's impossible to eliminate Korean hatred and history fabrication toward Japan from youtube. I don't wanna get involved with them anymore. Rather I wanna forget about their exsistence as soon as possible. I'm exhausted. :(
>>817 I'm really envirous of you. I think she wants you to talk to her in English. You can't speak English well? so what? It seems that you are making an excuse. Don't chiken out.
Because my wife can speak Japanese so fluently too. So there's no problem in our daily life if i don't speak English. But I need to study English for another reason.
my girlfriend doesn't speak japanese at all. she just doesn't give a dumb about japanese culture too. i don't care much about that because she loves me. she really does. don't care much about where i came from in these days somehow. just appreciating the fact that she loves me. my english is getting better and better all the time. maybe it's because of the magic of love. i'll be all right as long as she loves me.
In my case, my BF is a foreigner, but not a native speaker, though he knows how to speak English well. but as far as Japanese language is concered, he is allergy. so we usually communicate in English as a second language. It's more effective than I expected to improve my fuluency, expression and pronounciation.
>>771 Thank you for the informative To tell you the truth, I didn't take time to read your post through. I just skim through the post and replied.
It is only O.K when maori dance theme, fighting and scaring is observed ,right? Even so, I think that whiskey film was not decent film and I wonder if its vulgarness might offend maori people. Interesting.. Feel strange to me but whisky film is consistent with original maori dance style and meaning.
As for amuron namie film, can we say rugy players are trying to intimidate amuro namie too?
More or less, that is correct. The war dance is only performed for a fight. The whiskey ad (Not film) was a sample of 'chest-beating', Which is rather funny in Western cultures. And, to be fair, I would be rather scared if twenty- -or so large, strong men suddenly presented their penises to me.
Actually, I'd be damn near terrified.
As for Amuron Namie, the dancing was fine, but toasting with coke isn't. It's like an advertisment showing a girl checking her makeup with the Yata no Kagami, It shows no respect for tradition or sacredness.
>>818 >I even made some English-subtitled videos to let the people in the world know >〜they never changed their political ideology.
Only not to Korean, but to Japanese. Almost Japanese don't know the truth of the history and the Korean's behaviors. Even if we know them, we can't express objection to them in English. I can't use English well yet, but I have been studying English thanks to those videos (perhaps I might study English on your video) I show you honor.Thanks.
>>790 I undersatnd NZ is rich in wild creatures and they are nuisance. When a Australian flies bite and draw bloods, it's not a fly anymore. At least in japanese there is another name for the creature, but when I look up in English dic, I found out it is called gadfly and horsefly in English and indeed as their names suggest (certainly it has "fly" at the end of their name) it seems to be categorized in fly. When I said fly, I was talking about housefly, by the way. But I understand Ausies are bothered by any kinds of flies thanks to your explanation. Fantail looks cute. South Parrot can be sold at high price in petshops in Japan. Maybe not. don't know.
>>791 Vivid discription of the way NZ pigs kill and eat their prey! Don't wanna meet them in the wild.
Oh, most of the native species aren't pests. But introduced ones like rabbits, weasels, stoats, wild cats and dogs kill everything else. Luckily, at least, rabbits are always tasty. My grandfather used to shoot a few for stews when I was young.
What is the name for a biting fly in Japanese?
A fantail is cute, but if one flies into your room and out again, it is very bad luck. They are the heralds of Death, and according to Maori legend killed their greatest god with their laughter.
If you see a Kea being sold, you must report the seller to the police. The Kea are a protected species.
>>844 >What is the name for a biting fly in Japanese?
We call it アブ, while housefly types are called ハエ. They aren't in the same category in Japanese although in English they include "fly" in their names. ハエ doesn't bite and draw bloods although they are considered dirty because they like rotten foods, dogs droppings and such. In elementary schools in Japan if ハエ rest on your body, you become an object of teasing because the ハエ likes you, meaning you are almost the same as dogs droppings and rotten foods.
I've been suffering from drysocket and terrible pain since I had my wisdom tooth pulled out in a big hospital. Does anybody know how soon drysocket will be recovered on the average? I saw my densits again 4days ago, but my gum is still killing me.
>>846 It's rare they fly when they are on the floor but if they're on the wall they do often fly when you spray insectiside spray.
But cockroach in your country and ours are prpbably different in size and weight. I heard some Japanese have a cockroach of Australia as a pet. They are called cockroach but they look cute and look like a bug beatle, while cockroaches in Japan walks very fast and spread disease.
Maybe in your country and Australia, there are the same type of roaches as Japan in houses but what I saw on TV is was very big and live in the ground or somewhere. like this as far as I know.
>>847 I don't think there's no dentists here. Take good care of yourself. Keep where your tooth was clean. If the pain continues, go to the dentist and punch the dentist in the face and kiss girls at the reception desks and make them pay your money back. Good luck.
I'm searching for an apartment in a foreign country and looked up the info on internet. then I didn't understand some abbreviations. Does anybody know What 70T/MO stands for? I know MO stands for monthly, but I am clueless about 70T. Thanks in advance.
>>854 Manila, Philippines. Philipinos know how to speak English well, so I'm planning to contact with the owners of apartments I'm intersted in by E-mail in English to inquire about the room for rent. What I mentioned is this website: http://www.buyandsellph.com/listads.asp?search=840
I want to talk with someone because I have no friends to talk to in a real life. But I realized that I have nothing to talk with you about especially. So,bye!
I think it's better to play video game for lerning English.. When I went to Akihabara 5 days ago, I came across Nintendo DS's DQ6 of English version. Next time I go there, I might buy it.
Λ_Λ / ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ <丶`∀´> < You mean >>879 should study our great language, Korean in stead of English? ( ) │ I'm glad that the people in the world are starting to realize how Korean is excellent and practical as an universal language. | | | \__________ 〈_フ__フ
I'm not really interested in the language but kind of attached to their goofiness coming out of all this. I feel like I missed out on a chance to throw another stupid party, but I guess it's better that way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJGl5rIiYKg&feature=related I'm using IE6, which is not supported by youtube. When I adjust sound bar? on the right side, it jumps to the top and produces maximud sound instantaneously. Is there anyone who has the same experience, using browser except IE6?
Sorry, I can't. I've bought a lot of English books so far but most of them have never been read by me. They are sleeping on the shelf in front of my desk with thick of dust on top of them.
>>903 Really. So it seems to be a problem associated with all version of IE. Google shoule tackle the problem as soon as possible. Google must have the brightest people in the world. Why can't they fix?
I would often read manga translated in Egnlish when I was high school, but ,for example, Death Note has all capital letters and it is difficult for me smoothly to read it.
>>818 Your task is not to change korean behavior and mind. Koreans may know they are wrong but they never change. They know they are wrong and make propaganda to the advangate of them and the disadvantage of Japan. Your task is to let the world except koreans know the facts and awake potential people. I'm also the one who was able to change opinion by knowing activities like from you. Ignore koreans and bigot people and people who are not interested in. Exhausting you is one tactis of korean. F5 attacks reminds me of ringing the phones of the revenue office one after another untill the receiver gives in and obeys what koreans order.
>>912 In personal, I don't like a japanese cartoon which translated into english. Because I always feel that translated version differ from its original version in nuance of expression. That make me irksome.
Those books are selled at major book store. (E.g. kinokuniya, junkudo) I suppose that Amazon also sell them.
Originally, translated versions of Japanese Manga magazines such as Boys' Jump have been a kind of commodities for sale in USA and so on. Recently introduced in newspaper, or, with publishing companies seeing its sales increase in Japanese Manga books, which is owing to young persons' surging earnestness over studying English, a part of them, however, have come to be dealt with in domestic book stores, though just recently.
Does anybody correct the following sentence I made if there is strange expression or wrong grammar or any typoes?
Hey Koreans. Don't think that everything you do is allowed as long as you show nationalism to the world. Korean nationalism is said to be childish like self-centered ideas. Just look up the word "humility" by your dictionary :)
Can any Does anybody correct the following sentence I made if there is strange expression or wrong grammar or any typoes? →Would you please correct the following sentence I made if there is strange expression or wrong grammar or any typoes?
Now there's a topic on yahoo. co.jp regarding, "why is yen so strong?" It says in spite of the massive amount of Japan's borrowings, yen is bought around the world because it's relatively stable compared to euro and dollar. Japan is a super-indebted nation but in fact there are some other indebted countries such as Germany and England whose borrowings are almost equal to those of japan. It's buying more and more US governmental bonds every year. The US is a ferocious nation that tries to sell their national bonds to all parts of the world. National bonds are counted as savings, but in fact they are no more than pieces of paper, so These nations buying US bonds including Japan are just buying papers... I've heard that the US prohibits Japan's possession of gold to a certain amount. One thing you can say for sure is that the dollar is getting weaker, and the yen is getting stronger. I predict that at some point of this year the dollar gets below 80 yen.
>>925 >I predict that at some point of this year the dollar gets below 80 yen. I doubt it. The DPJ, which is the last hope for revival of Japan, is almost certain to collapse. When it actually falls down (this summer), the yen starts to weaken.
>>929 Personally, I don't believe that Japan's political system would change according to the political party that people support. I must suppose that there is something going on behind the political parties. The psychological impact created by political scandals and fallacies or whatever may affect the people's investment behaviors more or less, but I don't assume that the stakes are very high.
>>931 Basically it's a good thing for Japan in principle that the yen gets strong. In fact, the 80's bubble occured due to the strong exports backed up by the strong yen. But it doesn't apply in this case, because it's not that the yen is strong but that the other currencies including the dollar are weak. The problem is, the world economy in general is on the verge of another crisis, as many economisists and critics have pointed out.
>>931 Although I'm not 925, That would not be good only for the exporters. Most of average Japanese welcome strong yen, for they can keep buying power.
>>937 The main cause of their collapse would be having failed to reduce the enormous debts that you mentioned. That could lead the yen going down quickly.(Many start selling yen)
>>938 >Most of average Japanese welcome strong yen, for they can keep buying power.
I partially agree with your opinion. Not power literally, but to put it more precisely, credibility and influence. Japan has kept buying the US bonds, and lending money virtually every corner of the world. The money spent is not likely to be fully reimbursed. But this fact makes Japan a totally credible nation. From a superficial point of view, Japan seems to have lost much of its money that owes to the people's savings. But it in turn means that Japan has gained some kind of credit, which resembles trust from around the globe.
I got a message on my youtube ID from a Korean. the message is as follows;
You have been reported to the law enforcement authority and the Youtube for your multiple misconducts acted on Youtube in which you have deliberately broken the agreement to use the service responsibly. You will be expected to hear from the law enforcement shortly.
I've never had any misconducts on youtube. I just made a few videos to go against anti-Japan from Koreans. And I'm wondering why he brought up the law enforcement authority. What do you think of his message?
http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/fight/ In japan, pro-wrestling, pro-wrestle(プロレス) is included in matrial arts category on japanese sports newspaper. Its news is mixed with the news from sumo, MMA, Boxing and so on. How do you guys think? I think it should be excluded from serious sports and it should have its own category. I don't dislike japanese prowrestling and prefer american style. Most japanse know it's fake and allow pro-wrestling foundations not to openly admit the storyline.
Are those who watch WWE regarded as low-IQ and as such? But I like its stupidity and silliness. Back-door drama with the camera in front of them is amusing. I don't focus on the move on the mat. I like lines and performance.
>>950 You may be arrested immediately upon your vist on Korea. LOL Half joke. Because it's probable. A korean journalist who has been candidly critisizing korea for its unfairness and mistakes couldn't go back home because she could be arrested. She eventually chose to be a japanese citizen. In japan anything and anyone prefarable of Korea and againt Japan are O.K. They are rather enshrined and some japanese were awared korean orders (of culture). They can come back to Japan and speak anything they like in Japan.
Korean can say anything bad about Japan but their freedom of speech is limited, expecially on the matter of current political powers. Then they will be arrested after they let go of the power. It's the same story again and again.
>>953 I don't think so. I don't know much about the law. But youtube should not be operated under crazy korean law. Rather under american law. You still didn't get any warnings from youtube and the authority. Why not consider if you got the warning from them?
In addition to >>954. I'm afraid if it intimidated you. The author of "anti-korean wave" visited Korea and was able to return home. Even he excaped being arrested, why can't you? Even crazy korean authority can't put their crazy law on japanese citizen.
>>954 You mean as long as I'm in Japan or foreign countries except Korea, there is no possibility for me to be arrested? I didn't know that Korean freedom of speech is limited like what you mentioned. I really realized that I'm lucky that I was born and grew up in Japan.
>>955 I haven't recieved any warning from youtube yet. I've made a decision that I won't take it seriously that even Koreans give me threatening message. I'll just ignore them. thanks.
>>961 Are you a foreigner? that's depply connected with the critical situation Japan is facing now. They are worried about how Korean anti-Japan activities infuluence on their real life. The probelems are ranging from WW2 to the right of vote for foreigners bill that Japan's gorverment is tyring to bring in now. No wonder Japanese are discussing Korean-related issues.
A tall australian woman was the guest of harumi kurihara's cooking program. Australian was ahead taller than harumi. What would happen if harumi kurihara suggested cooking a whale meat dish? lol I thik this kind of joke is permissable in the U.K. Mr.Bean and Sacha Baron Cohen would dare to the same thing. Why not japanese do black joke like British?
I didn't remember when I ate whale meat last time. Many foreigners must belive japanse eat whale meats regularly. But it's not true.
I heard a documentary film bashing dolphin hunting got a academy prize. I don't remember eating dolphin. Dolphin eating habit is limited to tiny portion of Japan. It's delicacy. Dolphin is not the thing to eat for most of japanse and it's regarded as cute animald and featured on various manga and comics. I heard that dolphin hunting is relating to protecting fishery business there because dolphins are pest eating their products. The director of the film ignored this aspect?
The move of Academy Award seems to be in accordance with the move of banning fishing blue-fin tuna. This move is understandable if blue-fin tuna is becoming endangered species. However, whale also eats tuna. That aspect should be considered too. If whales are allowed to breed freely, tuna could be perished by whales.
Whitest people of the whites, Norweigen are for whale hunting. It's very interesting. Why not attack white brethren with arms and firm will to fight back and kill if attacked?
I think it is one of the options to avoid traveling all the way to antarctic for research whaling. It might make matters worse and go against Japanese will. Generally japanese is likely to set back to avoid friction. It's strange japanese insisting solely on research whaling against the world. I suppose that special interest group is connected with whaling and bureaucrats obtain posts in govemental agency.
Whaling is bread and butter for them regardless of its legitimacy. I think whaling has ligitimacy but it should be carried carefully.

>>963 British television is very tolerant, though there are some things people would complain about. The broadcasting regulator accepts many complaints for even trivial things. It's a very British trait to complain about things, I think, such as quality of tea, weather, politics, kids these days, noise, people walking dogs... all sorts of things... so although people often complain about TV and radio shows, most of the time, nothing is done.
Things people complained about this year and last include... Peter Andre breaking down during an interview (if you don't know who he is, it's not worth finding out), Gordon Brown talking about his daughter during an interview, Simon Cowell forcing the public to vote someone off X Factor, Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand insulting Andrew Sachs (Manuel from Fawlty Towers) on his answering machine on radio, racist remarks on Big Brother directed at an Indian participant... Most people don't really care about any of this...
I was shocked to see Hugh Grant on TV promoting his latest movie 'Did you hear about Morgans?' I know he has been renowned for playing the role of miserable men, but I thought that was only his acting ability and not his reality. But viewing his appearances on TV this time, he himself 'looked' miserable, i,e, less fit, weary, not making witty comments at all, etc. He reminded me of his mug shot when he got arrested in Hollywood some ten years ago.... Is this the image you guys carry of him in UK? In Japan, he is still renowned for his charming role in 'Notting Hill.'
>>966 It's true, these past few years he has looked rather worn down and weary, even during interviews and appearances. He still has a charm about him and often tries to evade personal questions with humour and wit. We don't really hear about him so much any more, but the image we carry is of his later films, more of his roles in 2004/2005 with Love Actually and the sequel to Bridget Jones Diary. The British paparazzi are quite ruthless when they pick up on something negative about someone popular, so I'd say that did massive damage to his image here.
>>965 You brought up the story related to Katie Price, Jordan again. You really love her. You are obssessed with Jordan consciouslly or unconsciouslly. I should have learned him at leat one time. But I totally forgot about him. Memory revived and tells me he and Jordan should have met at survival reality TV of something.
I saw his face on google search for this time. He came as gay or iranian. I also forgot about your loved one Jordan. I talked to myself "who is this sillicon boobs?". I apologize to you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybiM51194MA I don't know what's going on and don't have guts to watch through the video for now. But i can say Britain is fantastic with those drag ladies and black guy york(is he football player york?). I don't know whats going on, but crazy and fun!
>>968 Thanks for the reply☆ It's good to know that he really is a humorous and witty person, because at least stereotypically, we belive that it is a prerequisit for an Englishman to be witty and even cynical.
I don't know if you are interested in this at all, but did you know Mat Damon has been idolizing Mickey Rourke for a long time? He said on an interview show 'Actors Studio,' that he even had Mickey's poster on the wall in his bedroom before he became an actor. He also said that Mickey gave Mat an advice (when they met on a shooting or someting) that Mat should do things properlly and should not waste his talent and life, like Mickey himself. In Japan, Mickey Rourke became a passe a long time ago, so it really is a surprise that a popular actor like Mat Damon still listens to Mickey... Sorry, I was just mumbling to myself. Please ignore this post.
I think it's because the British have a problem getting new people who are talented enough to be celebrities at the moment. So they focus on the older ones until new blood can course through the system.
There was a comment on Hugh Grant in a previous post, and I'm also the one who was surprised to watch him on a Japanese TV show. He looked so worn-out, and I found him no longer an intelligent, sweet looking kind of guy. He was mumbling some cheap jokes and responded to the Japanese comedians in a rather masochistic manner. What happened to him? I felt the same kind of sentiment over Mikey Rourke. I found him in an article of a magazine and I was so surprised that he has changed a great deal I couldn't believe my eyes. I know he is a professional wrestler and there was a lot of stuff after his huge success in several movies as an actor, like drugs, plastic surgery and so on. But I can't still believe my eyes because he was such a good-looking guy with a great reputation that almost every single woman in the world called him sexy. What has become of him again?
>>980 You must be kidding!!! They've got Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, Jude Law, Jason Flemyng, Hugh Jackman (the latter 2 are not as young as Jude, though) and many more young & talented actors!
Hugh Grant should maybe follow the footsteps of Richard Gere... to remain in the movie industry.
The Obama administration got so many issues to solve. The health care reform, Troops stationing in Iraq and Afganistan, high unemployment rates, etc. Seriously, I doubt if he got what it takes. As everyone knows, he is a mix of black and white, born in a muslim and christian family. I think that this is a new type of propaganda used by the power behind him. I'd say he is a first(or second, third) symbolic president of the US. In other words, he is sending a false image of the US, where everyone is equal regardless of the color of skin, races, religions, sexes that they belong to. Just after his inauguration people were cheered and welcomed the first black President at first, but personally it only reminded me of Hitler. In fact, it was just a few days after his sending 20,000 troops to Afganistan that he took the Nobel Prize. It's nothing but a new form of propaganda. The US people are now focusing their attention upon health care plan. But whether the bill will be passed remains to be seen for the moment. They say it will be due by the end of this month, but it is still unclear when the bill will be passed.
