Thank you for your e-mail. You asked me three questions.
First, people listening to portable music players can't hear
the sounds will. They would not notice cars or other
people coming up to them. That would cause various
accidents.
Second, I think, cyclists in Japan should also be required
to wear helmets. If they have a traffic accident, helmets
can protect the heads from being damaged, and will save
their lives.
Lastly, first aid is very useful in an emergency. At any
time and at any place people can easily get injured or
become sick. So it's necessary for us to learn first aid.
