Rainwater that falls down on the surface of earth is typically a solution of carbon dioxide in water. As it permeates through the ground, it reaches mineral deposits of limestone and/or dolomite. Some of calcium and magnesium carbonates contained in such masses of rock react with the carbon dioxide solution. As a result of this reaction, highly soluble hydrogen carbonates are generated from the above-mentioned minerals. Thus, the groundwater turns to an aqueous solution of Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions, which is called "hard water." The term is so called because the water is "hard (i.e., difficult)" to lather even when it is agitated with soap. Water that is easy to lather up with soap is called "soft water." Both of the terms are used widely, though lacking the strictness of their meaning. Hard water is produced as well, when underground deposits of heavy metals, such as iron, are present.

Experiments 3 and 4 revealed that viewing history display helps to reduce program search time; there were no significant changes in the number of matched programs. At first, the authors expected that the tumbnails tagged as EPG would narrow down the list of programs and thereby provide quick access to desired programs. A closer look at unmatched programs, however, showed that these programs had not been watched yet by the subjects. This result suggests that the tumbnails tagged as EPG enabled the subjects to eliminate their undesired programs but not necessarily to pin down their desired programs.

>>647 Is there any chance that you will visit Japan someday?
>>648 Your note convinced me that a bright future with full of joy and delight is ahead of me. My heart goes out to Ireland whenever I have Baileys or Guinness .

I have very good friends all over the world and family as well. I am trying to keep up with most of them and it is very demanding as much as it is rewarding but this means it is harder for me to try to keep in touch with people I almost don't know because we did not have time to establish a solid friendship.I hope you can understand my words and believe that they are not in any way negative but this is my reality so you cannot expect too much from me..If this is a disappointment I do apologize. 【要約】忙しい生活のなか、大事な家族や友達とメールで連絡をとる時間を作るのは 大変だが、それなりに楽しい。でも、見ず知らずのあなたから一方的にメールを出され ても困る。返信している暇などない。

When I started to live abroad, I was having a difficult time finding Japanese food stuff. A friend of mine kindly E-mailed me the address of an online shopping site from which Japanese food stuff was available. I would like to thank and tell him/her: > 「素晴らしいサイトを教えてくれてありがとう!とても助かりました。」 How would you put this into English? This might be so easy that I should do it myself, but I want to play it safe. Please help me with this. Thank you in advance.

>708 i agree to start the education of English at the elementally school. Getting start earlier must be more effective. More countries are introducing English education at the earlier age, Japan should not fall behind. Some people say the studying English is a burden on the students. However, I assume students can enjoy study if they are thought with fun. I believe elementally schools should introduce english class in order to improve people English skill.

I am sorry for being late to send mail . Do you remember me ? I am 俺 you told the way of internet cafe in Taipei . Thank you for not only telling the way but giving the tea . It was so fun to talk with you by some languages . If I go to Taipei again ,I will call to you . Drink together!
Sorry for late response. Soon after the last time, took up a temp job. Been busy working non-stop from the early hours till midnight. An off-to-work-everyday-after-5-hours-in-bed kind of situation, y'know? Naturally, too tired to boot the PC, and unable to reply earlier. Sorry.
Having quit the damn heavy temp job, now chillin' out at home. Lemme know what's new with you lately.

I’m been concerned for what kind of speach I should do when I am interview. instead, I couldn't make a disition to apply for some job engaged in the skill of English witting, reading, speaking. I mean, in spite of biulding confidence in my mind, I'm somehow afraid of weather there is gonna be a miserable outcome. I know the most effective way to learn English is to perfectly learn a sentence little by little. On first glance, The rote learning seem so less effective to learn English that you couldn't believe it's the most royal road to an English master.
