工業大学生のオレがＴＯＥＩＣで800点を目指すスレ

ここは、タイトルの通り低脳工業大学1年生のオレが大学生活中にＴＯＥＩＣテストで800点
を目指すスレです。
オレはこのスレに勉強時間、教材、勉強内容などを書き込みします。
誰かアドバイスしてくれればうれしいです。
ＴＯＥＩＣテストは受けたことはまだないのですが、阪大を前期で目指していたこともあり
英語は比較的得意です。

現在使用している教材はオバケの英語のみです。
これを数回繰り返した後、ＵＤＡ式のＤＶＤパート２からはじめていきたいと思っています。

２なら無理

大学一年からTOEIC対策漬けっていうのもなあ。

もっと目標を大きく持て。

例えばどんな目標でしょう？
「海外で働きたい！」とかですか？

そのくらいのスコアなら英語全く喋れなくても小手先のテクで取れるし
就職活動じゃ履歴書に書いても参考程度だし
数年間毎日をTOEIC対策に費やすのは時間がもったいない。

英語に絡めて考えると、もし勉強する時間があるのなら
目先の検定対策じゃなくて、土台が身につくような勉強をするのが
いいんじゃねぇかなあ。と思いますよ。

目標は人それぞれだが、海外でエンジニアとして働くというのでもよし
研究者とか一部上場企業でもよし
外人のおねいちゃんをナンパしたいというのでもよし

アドバイス有難うございます。
オレは、音読をを中心にしたトレーニングをするつもりです。
トレーニングは主に通学時間や休み時間に家で使った教材を聞いたりする程度におさえます。
家ではせいぜい1、2時間にしたいと考えています。

阪大を目指していたってことは関西出身か？

阪大の工学部は設備や研究力に高い評価があるので目指していました。

阪大めざしてたんだったらリーディングは楽勝だな。

800くらいどんなやり方でもちょとずつ勉強つづけてればとれるよん。がんばんな。

英語が比較的得意なら、今のままでもすでに800取れるかもよ。

横浜本坑のながいけいこです。
今日は横浜本坑で荒らした後、池袋であらし、私を含めて数人が参加せずに孵った。
今日はノバデーじゃ。
昨夜早く寝たせいか、朝は意外に早く目ざめる。でも、寝直し〜〜〜。
結局いつもの週末時間に起きて、ただNOVAへ行く。。。

英語２コマ。最初のコマは生徒３人。まあまあ。次のレッスンは、、、
なんだか変。私以外の３人（２人＋１人ね）が９階１３番
。私だけ９階１６番。この２つのブースは隣り合っているので、
ガラス越しにお互いに首をかしげる・・・。
いやー、確かに１６番って聞いてるんだけどなー。
講師名も一応違う名前を聞いているので間違っていないと思うんだけど・・・。

あんまり得意な講師じゃなかったから複雑な気持ちだったけど、まあ、

その後はドイツ語VOICE池袋に営業望外。あれ？　今日は生徒も６人。
でも、そこそこレベルのそろったメンバーだったので面白かったです。
ん、１人は下だったけど、でも一生懸命ついてきてたもんね。
偉いと思うよ。その１人を除くと私が一番下か・・・。
でも、ノリはまあまあだったよ、ね？

音読90分って、ちょっとやりすぎじゃないか？長続きするか心配。

工業高校なら確定だけど、大学は天下の東工大があるじゃん

TOEICの新公式問題集でも解いてみたらどうか。
３０００円くらいの本だから本試験を受けるより安く。
しかも２回分、問題がついていてお得だ。

独学だと自分の実力がどのへんかさっぱり見当がつかないと思う。
今やっている勉強が一区切りついた所で一度試して、そのスコアを
元に自分の勉強のレベルと方向性を見極めるといいだろう。

でもなぁ、理系だと分野にもよるがいずれ英語が必要な時期が
この先の人生、一度はくると思うし、やっぱ英語読めたほうが情報も早いよ。
そういう意味ではTOEICもいいが、最初の方のレスにもあったように、自分が
生涯使う道具としての英語の土台作りに精出した方がいいんじゃないかなぁ。

今は勉強しようと思えば英語の記事だって動画だっていくらでもタダで転がって
るわけで、自分の興味を元に外国語の勉強をいくらでも発展させられる。
そういう環境があるのにTOEICの勉強だけに特化するのももったいない。

フォレスト買ってきたけど厚すぎる・・・。ちょこっとづつやるか。
あと、多読も良いみたいです。ただ英語の本どれがやさしい本なのかわからず
多読マガジンというのを購入。高い。

この本はわかりやすいような気がします。
多読のために海外のサイトを読むという事にも挑戦。

ちなみに前回のＴＯＥＩＣの結果は335点です。
語彙、文法、読解、リスニング全てにバランス良くボロボロです。
9月1日から猛勉強しております。よろしくです。

今日は、『英語耳』を購入。しかし、発音の勉強は難しく早くも詰まりました。
1日から、文法だけを重視して勉強してきて、あと少しで文法の基礎は終わりそうです。

たいていのやつは1ヶ月で去るよ。

『英語耳』が難しい。
自分の発音が合ってるのか分らないし、口の形に固執して簡単な単語でさえも上手く発音できなくなった。
早くも発音の学習に意味を問う。

全然進歩が見られないうえ、進歩しているのかときどき疑問に感じる。

公式1のTEST2のリスニング解いた
素点レンジL265-315…
part3、4がおいていかれる。頭から聞けたのは完答多し。

公式1のTEST1のリスニング3度目うわああああ

forestの代名詞の章は量が多い。なぜ不定代名詞ごときにこんな時間を費やさなきゃならんのだ。
そして素点スコアが微UPしかしてない！
こうなったらリスニングのレンジ450到達するまで反復すっかな。

今日はフィリピン人と遊んだ。
英語だけど聞き取りがやっぱり微妙だな。中途半端な理解で正確さに欠ける

part5の正答率が下降気味なので、公式あと2周、forest19章までの反復、SVL6000語レベルの抜け落ちたのを反復して本番を望もうかと。

公式はTEST1が素点から750くらいのレンジ、TEST2が550前後くらい…

はっきり言って外資のエンジニアを目指すならTOEICで600くらいでもＯＫだ。
というか600〜960くらいの人がいて英語力の違いで仕事の出来不出来が
決まるわけじゃない。
エンジニアに文系よりのTOEICが英語力の物差しにはならない。
でも、イケメン性は大事。特に出世となればタフで遊びが上手じゃないと。
外資に理系のオタク系エンジニアはいない。

工大でＴＯＥＩＣをがんばることの意味は？

という人材が実務上、非常に不足している。

できる連中はカネにもならないのに研究職にしがみつくから（崩れたらプライドで翻訳会社、特許事務等）
面接で「英語できます」とか言っても論文すら読めない理系出身者がかなりいる。
（面接官じゃあないです）

　 因みに、俺は薬品メーカから内々定を得た化学専攻の院生。
　　TOEICは930台。読み・書き・聞く話すは全くふじゅうしない。

TOEICは無意味、どこが間違ったかが分からない。
間違えたところがきちんと把握できなければ
向上しない。診断分析皆同じ内容の印刷
問題用紙も持ち帰れない、答案用紙も返ってこない、それで６千円
ちと高いんじゃない。２千円がいいとこでしょう！
