this is the great experience i ever had.

im going to leave here tomorrow. this was great trip.
japanese girls hate tenpa- and hitoe, but american girl do not care tenpa- and hitoe.
why japanese most girls discriminate against tenpa- and hitoe? i can not understand.
this time i understand there are many friendry people to tenpa- and hitoe in the world. bad time.
if i knew this when i was a little boy , i did not try to kill myself.

i cried last night about born in japan.there are whole bunch of discriminating people against tenpa- and hitoe.
i never saw the girl who are nice to tenpa- and hitoe.
thought the probrem in japan. japan : one nation , one blood, we understanding: do not have racial discrimination, so
the power goes to the person who are something differnt from basic japanese.
so, japanese have it to gay people also.
anyway, discrimination is everywhere,that's true.
japan is the small country.

As is clear when you read through the thread, I wrote about a young
woman because somebody wrote that there were no young people in
Umeda VOICE.
I really admire the high level discussion going on in that VOICE
room, and also I really admire the attending student in Umeda
VOICE. A rural branch student as I am, I should know the true
level of NOVA students by attending a lot of VOICEs particularly
in urban area. And it is also promoted for the students of NOVA
to attend as many VOICEs as possible to know their own level of
speaking English. And also those who is trying to be so-called
VOICE-hoppers, it might be quite informative to provide certain
information on VOICE of particular branches, and the level of
conversation going on in the VOICE. Those NOVA branches with
a lot of "out standing students" would attract a lot of students
to enjoy high level discussions which could be hardly available
in their own branch or the ordinary environment in which they
are.
As long as the personal "crushal" information is not leaked,
the vibe of VOICE room in particular branch might be quite
informative and may be helpful for thouse who really greedy
to looking for good branch or good VOICE room to participate.
That's my original idea of providing information to those who
really want to improve their English speaking skills.

of students in that branch. Thus, it is relatively hard to
identify a particular student even though the one is relatively
a frequent attendant to Umeda VOICE. There might have been a few
branches which have a large number of students, and at whose
voice a lot of students around the branch get together.
My branch is quite small, and it is quite easy to identify
a particular student even by a short description about them.

やはり、「聞き取るぞ！」という意気込みが
リスニングパートの伸び率につながるのかな？
反して、「とりあえず自分が何をいいたいかをわかって欲しい！」
という片言で単語の羅列のような英語をしゃべっているので
文法の質は落ちてくるのかな？

英語の聞き取りの仕方で、たぶん、レベルに応じて二種類ぐらいあるよう
に思います。
１）漠然と聞いていて、分かる語彙を拾い出し、それと動詞の否定や
肯定などの点に着目して、意味を理解しようとするレベル。
２）動詞の細かい変化から、冠詞の有無もすべて聞き取って完全にすべて
の語彙がはっきり聞こえているレベル。

たとえば、外国人と英語で会話をしていて、その後、そのときの会話の
内容を思い出すときに、すべて外国人の英語でいったはずの内容もまた
日本語に置き換えられてしまうようなら、それは意味だけとっていて、
英語の文章として聞いていなかった証拠になるのではないかと思います。
こういう段階では、ネイティブの英語よりも日本人の間違った英語のほう
がききとりやすい場合が多いです。
２）の段階になると、英語の文章を丸ごと聞き取るので、逆に、ちょっと
した動詞の変化や前置詞や冠詞の有無などを聞き逃すことで全体がわから
なくなったりします。本当は意味が分かるはずなのに、全体から頭に
しっかりと英語として入らないと意味が逆にとりにくくなる。
このレベルになるときは、文法がかなりしっかり「扱える状態」で
ないと難しいかもしれません。なにも文法が理論として頭に入っている
必要はありませんが、感覚として文法のミスなどが自分の会話の中で
気がつくかどうか、が重要です。
というわけで、１）のレベルだと、リスニングが良くなって、文法が
あまりうまくいかない、ということがあり得る。が、２）のレベルだと
文法はよいが、リスニングがどうもしっくりと分かった感じにならない
ということが多くなるように思います。
最近になって、正直日本人のブロークン英語を聞くのがかなり苦痛になり
ました。また、自分のしゃべる英語のブロークンなのにいらいらしてきます。
それとともに、I mean, you know, kind of, といったfiller の入る場所
もなんとなくわかってきました。NOVAでかなり自分なりの特訓をした
結果だと思っています。ただ、自分のミスが本当になくなるまでにいたれ
ばきっと、リスニングもリーディングも完璧にちかづくのでしょうが。
