I think jumping down on train lanes and getting hit by a train costs so much money that your family would get more angry than sad. Joking.
But if you reall want to die, you are visiting the wrong place. There're websites on the Internet that deal with the topic. Go there and you'll find what's the best way.
my last post is >>33. and i don't care if other is cutting in. I ask for my thing. That's death. dazai osamu committed suecide so I want to follow suit.
You can't die peacefully like dazai did. You don't have what it takes to be a writer. Even if a good writer can die nicely, you're too midiocre to look good after death.
i dont really care if anyone wants to commit suicide with me if he wants i dont mind... and i dont really care how dazai osamu died i just like his prose im not obsessed with him
My great advice. Look at girls around you, and you'll notice how beautiful they are. Imagine they're touching you and stroking you. And when they farts, you can smell it as you like. Imagine Yukorin's fart! It smells like vanilla. You can go to the heaven if you smell her aromatic parp!
>>62 I once thought along the same line as you do. But watching her pictures just one time makes me change my thought. You can see why yukorin makes us crazy if you see her pictures.
Rosa is just like an angel. Many people (except stubborn and stupid nerds of Yukorin) believe so. on the other hand, Hilary Duff is regarded an angel in USA. Prome Minister Koizumi has a responsibikity to talk Bush about which is a greater angel.
>>118 Hilary Duff is not considered an angel in the US. Her popularity is in rapid decline and nobody likes her music or her movies. She's pretty worthless actually
why do neet ppl tend to pay much attention to idols? you should have more interest in others, or you will give up to return to the society. are you satisfied with having no job for your life?
i dont paying any attention to idols. i really dont care about idols. im not typical neet. maybe because i am 18. my interests are art design music movies and books.
2ch is a place for NEET's and withdrawal. i once readed blog of 23yo withdrawal girl! she even posted her photos and she writed it in perfect english(well, other native speakers who readed her blog say so)
good heart? that's good!! btw, how long is your penis? sorry, it's too parsonal question but i don't want to talk with a man who can't satisfy me in the bed.
Dwaine, watch out! There are my imposters around here. >>187 and >>192>>195 that're spelt kaori (k in the small letter) are not the original Kaori >>180. I am getting my identification from now on. You can see that next to my name.
This is my first time on this board, so I don't understand how to use it. I know there are probably many imposters here, but I want to talk to a sincere Japanese girl.
>>209 I am living on the third planet. Sorry I'm just kidding. But seriously I want to keep that a secret. I am such a country girl and I'm embarassed to tell you where I live. How about you, Dwaine? Can I ask you where you live?
>>218 But you must learn a new thing here, Dwaine. If you say におい(匂い/臭い), which nearly means kaori, there're possibilities that you are referring to either rotten or aromatic. So you need to be very careful when you use the words
>>215 You live in Ome (青梅) I see. I don't know where it is. Somewhere in Tokyo, right? And you are an English teacher for children! That's wonderful. I adore little monsters! Well, about your question, I also keep that a secret. Sorry I just looove secrets! Now, I want to ask you a question, Dwaine. What do you do in your spare time?
Kaori, in my spare time I usually study Japanese. I am preparing for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in December. It is a very difficult test. I must be able to read 2000 kanji.
>>225 You're lying. If you really do, I doubt you're from the States. It's too subtle a thing to discern so even native Japanese make mistakes about that.
238. I am not lying. I understand those words, at least I think I do. Nioi is a neutral word. It can refer to a good or a bad smell. Kusai means something smells bad. Kaori is a nice fragrance, such as a perfume. Am I correct? And I AM indeed from the states.
>>242 Just because of you. Talking only to girls and after you notice they don't have any interest in you, leaving for another girl, that's annoying, idiot.
I didn't say I knew it all. I will be the first person to admit that there are so many things that I don't know. But those 3 words are not particularly difficult, you know.
hey, we are talking with everyone. it doesn't care who is man or wiman. but you want to talk with only girl? go back to us. arrogant donkey. it's true that americans are all arrogant. now i know.
I don't live in Tokyo. I can only say that. You are studying Japanese and the test requires you to be able to read 2000 kanji? That's really amazing. You know, to pass the 2nd grade Kanji Proficiency Test you must read and write about 2000 kanji as well. I passed that test about before but now I'm not sure if I can pass it again. I'm losing my kanji. This is serious. I'm not the half the avid reader I used to be. This is serious, too. Dwaine, do you read Japanese literature?
>>261 You're pretending you're a pervert? This is not 出会い系サイト. Even ugly gaijin like you have the right to talk with girls, but Dwaine, going too far is not good. Get it?
Kaori, if you are Japanese, what do you mean that you are "losing you kanji"? I don't understand. I have met 4th and 5th graders who can already read almost 2000 kanji.
>>277 I suspect that you are misimformed, Dwaine. 2000 kanji (2nd grade level of Kanji Proficiency Test in Japan) is supposed to be the university student level. Isn't it 200? But that's too few for 4th and 5th graders....
Don't anyone want to hear the rest of the joke? >>274
Kaori, some of my students surprised me when they could read everything from the kanji book that I am studying. I felt very embarrassed and stupid compared top those children.
In Japanese, the plural of "kanji" is "kanji". Since "kanji", is a loan word when used in English, we maintain the same plural form as the original language.
>>336 I began learning Spanish when I was 15. I have traveled to Mexico many many times, and I am from Dallas, which is more or less a bilingual city. After learning Spanish, it is very easy to learn French, because they are both derived from Latin, and thus quite similar. German is more difficult, but it is a linguistic "cousin" of English.
>>342. Some Japanese guys are cool and good-looking. Some are very intelligent. Some are very stupid. Most are average. Just like any other country in the world, including America.
>>366 Someone named Candace appeared last month. She said she was seventeen and lives in New Mexico. I read what she posted carefully and it seemed that she was telling us the truth. At least she was believable.
以あっっっっっっm i am here yaaaaaaaaaaaaappyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can noooooooooooooot sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppp!!!!!!!!! ya hoooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! kan't sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee@pppppppppp!!!! nerenai yo Jo------------
Ok, this guy who I know for about 3 months and I think I have feelings for some what. His name is hiroshi ( it is not real name, but at least aroun here) and,,,,
We went shopping togather the other night. Some lions (witch probably run from Zoo for some reason ) tried to attack us. one of lions bited his finger off and he screamed out loud"uwaaaaaaaaaa" and,,,
I was too scared to make any move. my whole body was shaking. I thought this was the end, my life was over. I was going to die. but Interesting thing is that all lions are suddnly running away from us. and,,,
while We could not move for 3hours or so, he keep to bleed alot of blood. The beautiful blue blood turn into some kind of pond. and we almost drowned so we tryed to swim. and,,,
This cake was really huge. actually bigger than me. So I was scraching my head where should I start to eat at. after I had thought about it , I desided to eat its top first. and,,,
I just read what that Dwaine guy wrote, he sounds like a total geek. I think hes the sort of American who is a Japan-maniac (not just manga/anime/idols/etc., but the whole country). That's sort of bullshit that he flat out asked to talk with women. Foreigners like that make the rest of us seem creepy. He may be a nice guy and you have to respect his efforts at learning Japanese (ive only passed level 2 of the Proficency Test) but sitting around and only studying Japanese? Yeah, he sounds like a total nerd, no matter how nice he is.
it's because you are boring person >>431 you are awaiting for something, but it will never happened. because it's only you who can made your days not boring
Yers! I mn Neet!! don't ya think Neeeet is so cool? i think If there is someone who CAN change the world, that is Neets!!! neet s is have great pawer that can make people happy bonafade humanbeing randosel yuing errectrall!!!!!
UHAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwUEwwwwUEwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwI amwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwso sad. wwwUEwwwwUEwwwwww I am wwwUEwwwwUEwwwwww always wwwUEwwwwUEwwwwww crying wwwUEwwwwUEwwwwww
Hi! I hope you don't mind me asking a few dumb questions. When do they start teaching English at school in Japan? When you first start working on English texts, are they written with katakana or do you have to learn the latin alphabet first?
kiyohara is such a bitch. Why do sports casters pretend he is good? He should just quit, and stop trying to make people think he is cool. If I ever see him I'll say "Hey asshole, you're not in the major league, take those pierceings out. You suck!"
>>507 very true. I find when I see idols on variety show that they do not move me at all. But if i had such a chance I would probably have sex with most of them
dwaine is english teacher, he can teach us english hahaha but the sad truth of most american english teachers in japan that they are people who can't find place in US society.... hahaha
>>523 I don't necessarily think so. I just though his silly invitation to Japanese woman makes him seem like he wants to do some nanpa or something and that makes him seem creepy
>>537 That is an absolutely baseless prejudice, completely false. Most foreigners I have met in Japan are very intelligent, well-adjusted people who could make a life for themselves in ANY country
>> 542 I will respond to people who ask me sincere questions in a respectful manner. If you ask me if I am a loser in America, or how big my penis is, or some such nonsense, then I will not respond.
>>543 That is interesting. I think it is harder and harder to find nature's beauty in Japan. We have much pollution and often try to make nature too neat and tidy in my opinion. Try wild chaotic natural beauty is becoming rare in Japan
>>540 Sorry my response is late. I am a slow typist. The truth is, I haven't been able to make too many friends in Japan yet. Partly the language difficulty, partly because I am shy
>>560 I work for a large private company teaching small children. I am not so mucg interested in advancing career as I am in advancing my own intellect. I want to become fluent in Japanese, completely master Kanji, etc. My job gives me a lot of free time for study
>>565 You haven't taken any of the tests and you're shooting for level1? Are you nuts? That test is such a killer. I passed level 2 and that seemed hard. The time just flys by each section so you feel like you have no time to think through a question and most of the Japanese is only found on legal documents so the sentence structure is nothing like the Japanese used in daily life. Its a nasty test good luck with that.
Dwaine, what do you think about this 2ch BBS? Is there similar BBS in America? It's very unique, isn't it? I don't think we can find this type of BBS in other contries.
>>572 You wish that was the case. Im sorry, but a lot the stuff on the level 1 and 2 tests confuses the hell out a lot of Japanese people, even the "educated" ones
>>574 I have done many Level 2 practice tests. They didn't seem that hard at all. ANy high school student could pass the level 1. I have elementary students who could probably pass it
>> You think JLPT Level 1 is tough? You should go for the Kanken Level 1. That test covers about 5000 kanji. THat's right, 5000. Now THAT'S a tough nut to crack!
What years? And did you actually time yourself? Granted the listening sections are pretty easy and the kanji sections aren't too bad. But the rest can get nasty. And whats your point about high schooler?
You're not Japanese and didn't go to a Japanese High School so thats irrelevant.
Do you know that there are so many people adicted to this BB? Most of them are not attending schools, or working. Seems they have difficulties meeting other people.
>>577 My point is that JLPT 1 covers ordinary Japanese, not a bunc of arcane legal or other technical terms. Practically any Japanese high school student could pass Level 1 JLPT. Most junior high school students could do it, and even some elementary students could do it without breaking much of a sweat.
>>577 I'm going to have to disagree with you. And seeing as how it seems that I talked to more Japanese than you I just going to keep considering myself right. But hey free contry so each to his own.
>>581 Well I guarnatee you that the high school students that I have taught could pass it in their sleep. maybe the Japanese you have been talking to are the trailer park type :)
>>588 can you give me some advise? your japanese seems good but how did you learn all that? i want to use your advise to help impruving my english. book? tv is better? or you have lots of japanese friends who teach ya japanese?
>>591 There is no easy way to learn a foreign language. It requires dedication, blood, sweat, and tears. Perseverance and self-discipline are the keys.
>>588 You read Japanese Literature in Japanese, Dwaine? If so, that's great! I've been learning English for three years, but it's still not easy to read English books for me. I only read children's books like 'Bootleg' or 'Harry Potter'. They are interesting though :) I hope to be able to read "literature" in one year time, like you.
>>611 No no no. I read some Japanese literature in English. But I did read Harry Potter in Japanese. I agree with you, reading literature is very difficult and requires a very advanced level of foreign language skill.
>>571 I'll give you a foregners opinion on 2ch style BBS. Yes, this board is unique. It's unique because of anonymity. I wish there were more western boards like this in english. Allmost all boards I know of require registration. It's a common believe that registration will get more serious posts, but I disagree. Not being anonymous leads to much attention whoring, for example people constantly try to be the first to answer even thou your reply is worth shit. Or reply with the same answer, eavin thou it's allready posted by someone else. "Look at me, I've got a large post count!". Saying something against another person often leads to flame wars. "No, I'm right! You are the one who sucks.".
Also less freedom in speach. For example saying "Dwaine, you suck. Go away otaku." whould give you warning, if not ban.
>> Is there similar BBS in America? I know of few boards, for example world4ch.org and 4-ch.net (copys of 2ch) but they are not "american". English is a well known language and you will find for example many europeans on these boards. I'm from northern europe myself.
>>611 Children's books can be quite interesting reading for adults. Take "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" for instance. You can't consider it a mere fairy tale. There's more to it than meets the eye. The author Lewis Carroll was a mathematician and his writing is very logical. What can I say, there is almost math-like quality in the absurdity of a nursery story. So I think that true attraction of "Alice in Wonderland" can be appreciated by adult readers only.
>>621 didn't know that he was a mathmatician! I didn't like maths since I was at school, but I've always liked "Alice" since I was little! I might have been interested in maths if I knew that earlier!
ah, i meant he said he wanted to meet with japanese girl, so some kind of jeaiousy going on my mind( i dont't know why) but maybe that is because i don't have a girlfriend righ now.
>>625 Yes, I know that he had podophilic leanings, and his tale was written for a girl he adored. Every genius has abnormal mind more or less, mainly more in fact. But that doesn't dim the craftsmanship of his art in the least.
Is that true? That's shocking! By the way, It seems I was thinking Carol'd written the books on a ship, to entertain his kids, and that he was a doctor. Is it different writer? Have you got any idea about this?
Personally, I think it's difficult to find a girlfriend / boyfriend here. Even if I'd met someone really nice here, I wouldn't be brave enough to tell my e mail address to the world! You needn't to be jealous, Qoo :)
>>625 I've just realized that Carol didn't have any lolita complex. Coz there was no word "lolita complex" at the time (This word was made up from the film "Lolita") Now I wonder what people were thinking of him in the olden time. ... pervert?
No? Wasn't there a film about a girl and her stepfather directed by the director who made "Clockwork Orange"? Or is this film based on the book? Is that author Russian?
A sexual complex similar to that of the Shotaro Complex.
The Lolita Complex describes a sexual attraction to younger girls, usually by adult males. Females may also have it, but they are not as common.
It is named for the title character in the novel by Vladimir Nabokov. The story involved a man who became obssessed with a 12-year-old girl. (urbandictionary.com)
Despite our general image of the word "Lolita" Nabokov's "Lolita" is a fine work of art. I've read it in Japanese translation three times and once in the original text (English) and it never failed to tickle my funny bones. Yes "Lolita" is hilarious.
>>635 Oh, Lolita was originally written in English? Though "Vladimir Nabokov" sounds Russian. But that's a good news to me! I'll try and get a paperback from a second-hand book shop. Thanks for a nice review!
Nabokov's English writing is unbelievably sophisticated. I heard that his writings are given as model writings in many text books for would-be writers. His sense of humour, satirical insight, and aesthetic quality are something we should behold in awe!
>>639 "Lolita" is extremely difficult to read. I'd read the translation by Okubo Yasuo (Shincho Bunko) twice beforehand and still it was hard.
and i dont think that Dwaine is a bad man. he is typical geek who dont know how to life. he has learned japanese instead of living. but he is a confused man whit no life. it's sad...
i think he is lost. he dont have anything other to do then learn japanese. he is a very boring person. it's okay to learn japanese, but being obessive-compulsive geek isnt ok.
>>652 IM not gonna let you do that!! but deep down, Im sick of living a life in this world, so if you have some idea that you can smash tokyo and kill me without any pain, Im on your side. I am going to earn 3 trillion( how much is that? no idea) yen, working hard. I don't know how long it takes, though.maybe 100years? or 1000years? oh i forgot!!! Im a Neet!! so i can earn any money!!! sorry
Hiromix is a young Japanese photographer born in Tokyo in 1976. She has already published three photo books: "Girls Blue" (Rockin' on, inc., 1996), “Japanese Beauty” (Magazine House, 1997) and “Hiromix” (Steidl Publishers, 1998). Almost a star in her country, Hiromix (her real name is Toshikawa Hiromi) has acquired recognition after Nobuyoshi Araki nominated her as the winner of a photo contest to which she participated with a 36-page photo book made of color copies of regular prints. The small book title was "Seventeen Girl Days" and it belonged to the tradition of photo diary (a popular genre in Japan as the story of Araki himself can tell) with the unexpected vision of a 17 y.o. high school girl into the girl's everyday life made of pets, records, posters, flowers, friends, and self portraits. These random moments caught in the act of being, remains one of peculiar features of Hiromix's work. Beside several activities, Hiromix also writes a diary for an Internet magazine, she does some advertising and she photographs musicians for a music magazine named "Rockin' On Japan". According to Philibert Ono ― director of the established Website “PhotoGuide Japan” and one of the few to have written some words about the work of Hiromix ― Hiromix went through an amazing success in such a short period of time.
Usually there are no nudes in these books. Though extremely good-looking and sexy herself Hiromix rarely relies on her body to attract the viewer, and the combination of mini-skirts, hot pants, underwear, creates a sort of girlie world where youth and sex appeal play their role, but they are not crucial in seducing the viewer. It is more likely that her photographs are signs of her everyday life, little thoughts that do not expect to be included in a larger frame, though I'm sure Hiromix will soon find more specific themes to develops with her camera.
Its nice that Dwaine can devote himself to one thing, but it will make him a boring person. He needs to go outside and actually experience Japan it seems.
since he only studys from books when he speaks he will surely sound unnatural even if it is correct Japanese. It is often the case with learning English
why dont you use this room even in day. its fine today. its the best day for the internet. ive been in front of my pc set after i got up. why you havent?
its easy to become neet, but its very hard to have a job. im jobless, of course temporalily. but i have to have a hard time to avoid to be neet. im not neet, at least so far, i think.
I saw a TV program about neet the other day. There was this girl, she was 20 or something, and she was living on the money hey mother sent for her. Her mother had two different jobs to support this girl. Did anyone see this program?
My Kaela ragards me as an inteligent pronce riding on a whie steed. but actually I think I am the wise soldier riding on a mustang in order to protect Kaela.
when i woke up this morning, my cheeks were all wet with tears didn't know why i think i had a dream
i was with my older brother we're were on the street where we used to walk through to go to the kindergarten we're were just walking but didn't say a word then, suddenly, a little kid showed up from the corner, running right at me he looked exactly like my brother when he was a kid, like 6 yr old he stopped right in front of me and smiling then, another kid showed up, he was me, myself, when was 5 yr old they started talking to each ohter, cracing each other up i couldn't hear what they said because they were speaking so low i asked em, "what you guys talking about?" they looked at me, both smiling i really wanted to capture that moment forever me and my brother both smiling, nothing to worry about, just enjoying themselves then, my 6yr old big brother said something, didnt' hear, but i could read his lips he said "no, you gotta go, we gotta go, everybody has to go" then, i woke up, i was crying, i couldn't express how i felt exactly it was sad, really sad, i haven't seen my brother for more than 3 yrs now he's dead, he died 3yrs ago i always wanted to see him, but he didnt' want to stay with me in the dream so it was sad, really sad probably i'm not gonna see him again ever, even in a dream...
Why Yukorin? I do hate her!!! She's plain, she's stupid, She likes acting innocent to hide her crazy scandaling pasts. on the other hand, My Kaela has no blemish on her past!! She just loves me.
what you talking about? soccer is difinetally exciting!!! baseball IS boring and for old men!!! and baseball fan sould become soccer fan, at least today.
>>738 Hi this is ramu-chan, do you remember me? I'm quite interested in You and I want to know where you live. If I've taken you for someone else, I'm very sorry.
>>804 You are completely misunderstood. There are 3 types of people in this stupid thread. One is that there is a few good-looking and intelligent man like me. Another is that there are lots of ugly and idiotic nerds who stalk Yuko Ogura. Finally there are few female , they are parp and ugly plus idiot
Hey, hey, hey! Here's a question: Why doesn't someone in Japanese marketing correct all the 'Engrish" errors found everywhere? It's quite amusing to read the nonsensical ads, but does no one find it embarrassing?
>> you'd think they would at least check a dictionary for correct spelling. They think that plastering English on their ad gives them an air of sophistication, but it just makes them look ignorant in my opinion.
And French! I've noticed lots of French sayings...which also make no sense. But I love these things. I compare the English slang on Japanese t-shirts to the American love of kanji tattoos. You could write anything as long as it looks good!
Aha! This reminds me of middle school! I hope I'm not the French fag! I'm American, and my boyfriend would argue that I'm quite straight. I only speak a litte French, among other languages.
I don't have much interest in French things although I will be stopping in Paris during my European vacation this year. I'm studying Japanese at my University, hence my random appearance here.
Ha. I'm currently at FSU (Florida State) but I'm hoping to transfer. Not to Japan, though. However, I'll probably study abroad there in a year or two. BTW, who here has been to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL?
Anyway, my point was that I've worked at WDW for a few years and I like to hear what people from around the world thought of the place. I absolutely hate it there.
>>866 And you're NEET and virgin ? hahahah then correct answer is NEVER. go and die. and 2ch really creeps me out. no normal people here? only stupid neets and foreigners like Dwaine? i think I dont want to post here anymore
Christians are stupid, because they seriously believe in the Bible lol They say things like this world is created by God in seven days. LOL What a stupid bunch!
It's the theory of intelligent design. Look it up. And every religion has something wierd they believe in...religion is based on faith, not science. Duh.
Honestly, I have extremely disgusting feeling toward people who insult paticular religieons and religious people. Everyone deserves to believe in what he or she wants to believe, and no one does to disrepect those people due to their religious backgrounds. Their strong and pure Faith has saved billions of people through human history when they faced struggles in their lives. BTW, I'm not religeous person myself.
>>909 In that case I name myself Pooh. You are Boo, and I am Pooh. We make a nice duo, yoroshiku! "Monsters, Inc."? I think I've never heard of it. Is that a film?
I guess the best place to visit for you depends on your interests. I mean, if you're interested in Japanese traditional culture, then Kyoto would be the one of the places you definitely want to stop by, on the other hand, if you're rather interested in Japanese modern or pop culture, you would find some enjoyable places in Tokyo.
Tokyo is so big! It's intimidating! I want to visit somewhere that doesn't have a lot of tourists and isn't so....sprawling. I think Kyoto sounds nice, though. And I am SO worthy of being a geek. I dressed up for Star Wars opening night and go to MegaCon every year in Orlando!
I'm only a geek in comparison with those around me...I spend a lot of time playing FF but I haven't memorized any songs from DDR...Where does that leave me, I wonder...
>>921 What do you mean by "a monopoly on a different name"? Are you the same person who was speaking French way back on this board? I want to know all about you. You are very intriguing.
Ha. Yes, I was speaking French...and a little Spanish. And as for the monopoly, when I was in high school a few years ago I went around to a lot of free servers and used the same name so no one else could take it. I still have most of those accounts. I even used that name in my senior project.
I'm 18, a student at Florida State University, minoring in Japanese, found this site, and started talking...and talking...and talking. I think it's funny.
>>928 Ha ha ha, you are really intriguing to talk with! Seriously, what are you doing up this early? Are you one of those yoga master who needs no sleep?
It's just 16:00. I've been babysitting my little brother at my mother's. So, nothing much to do but feed the kid and work on the concept drawings for a mural I'm working on.
My true self is crass. Completely crude. Utterly dispicable! If I weren't so cute, I'm sure I'd be slapped by little old ladies on the street for my vulgar language.
erm....americans dont look a certain way....unless they're american indians, i guess... i've got friends that come from all over the world. i myself look like my mexican grandparents...as for europeans...all i know is that most brits are WHITE. JEEZ! Like...they glow in the dark...
We passed 980. The life of this thread is hanging by a thread. Before we must part, I'd like to express my gratitude to you Ms. WTF, for coming here and sacrifising your precious time to talk with such creepy people like us.
>>988 If you like literature, please take a look at "general books" bord too. There are some threds for people who like reading books written in English.
