unlessの意味は、あえて日本語で言えば、〜しない限り、〜でない限り、
〜の場合を除いて、といったところだ。
だから、I'll be glad unlessだけだとロジック的にやや奇妙というか舌足らずで、
聞き心地が悪いけど形は間違ってないよ。
要するに、その文は舌足らず過ぎて、ちょっと意味不明だが、もう少し具体的な
文にすれば普通に聴こえるようになる。
たとえば、
I will be so sad that I may be sick unless she comes to the party (and tells me she loves me).
あるいは、
I will have to ask you about XX unless she comes to the party and tells me about it.
I will be playing tennis all afternoon unless she comes to the party very early.など。
