◇1. Why do you think people attend college or university? ◇
Today, many people attend college or university compared with 100 years ago. Though each person has their own reason for attending classes, there is a common aspect. I think, in short, people attend university because of their own future.
To study at university is very hard work. The topic of the class is so specific and there is so much homework and so on. To manage these things, they have to spend the time that they normally use to watch TV while eating cookies, though they would like to spend a lazy time if it’s possible.
However, today’s society has become very complicated and specialized. To survive in a society like this, each person must acquire special skills. And , at university, we can get these skills if we study diligently.
To live a good life and have a good future, people keep improving their own skills. University and collage can provide the resources of these skills. People attend university and collage just as a station on the way to their future.
I can't reach the website you mentioned. Is the URL correct?
This thread could work well, if good readers are attracted. Correcting grammatical mistakes by non-natives can be dangerous. Indeed, I got my essay corrected wrongly, when I was in the Cambridge English School at Iidabashi. Anyway, good luck.
Hi, I am a 29-year-old Young Oyaji.I live in Tokyo. I have a car. I don't have a wife. My friend is 2ch. My hobbies are 2ch and talking about my dream here with you. I am planning to go to India to attend university. So, i have to take TOEFL test. I am practicing an essay wrinting here.
My policy is having a good communication with you.
>>2 Perhaps it's not important whether what you write is true or not. In this kind of essays, the most important thing is to arrange the structure of the essay logically.
However, your assumtion that 'at university, we can get these (special) skills if we study diligently' does not seem to be plausible. Japanese universities do not provide any special skills, I am afraid.
The strongest insentive of them for the higher education should be attributed to the income gap between those who have first degrees and have-nots, if you would like to talk about the 'common aspect' of seeking higher education.
◇NO,2 ‘Parents are the best teacher.’ Do you agree or disagree?◇
When we are an infant, we learn almost everything from our parents. But, it does not always mean that parents make the best teachers. Because, exactly saying, parents don’t teach so much. The infants are just imitating them.
I think parents are not the best teacher in life, although we are influenced a lot by them actually. At first, when parents teach things to their children, they usually show a willingness to compromise and don’t see themselves objectively. So, it contains a risk that the teaching might be finished by halves. Affection is a necessary condition, but not a sufficient condition for teaching one things.
If we intend to learn something, I think the best way to learn is from professional teachers. They are well trained and know how to teach. Though parents might be able to teach with a light heart, the professional teacher can teach one rationally and precisely.
Teaching a person requires some special skills. Of cause there is no doubt that parents can become good teacher’s for children. But I think they are not the best teacher.
>>26 1 I'll write an essay today. I'll keep writing on these topics. So please read it and give me your opinion if you please. Or, you can write one, too. Let's talk about English composition.
Nawadays, many people attend college or university. why, then, on earth, do they attend it?
To my thoght, there are as opinions as there are people about these detail reasons. However, their reasons are classified rough into two sorts.
The first is farsightedly positive reasons. Many people probably have these reasons. At the contemporary world which is making rapid progress, as we adapt it, we must acquire expert knowledges, and broaden our outlook through meeting new people.
On the contrary, the second is negative reasons which aim to keep a present state. Some people think that they can extend a period which is admited of idling from high scool days on.
In either case, we must decide how to spend our life of college or university by self-liability. Because college or university is a place which offers educational environment to us and it is a place for learning of our own accord.
3. Food has become easier to prepare. Has it change improved people life?
Nowadays, the progress of science has made food easier to prepare. There are frozen foods and convenience foods. When we want to eat a hamburger, we don’t need to cook it each time. The only thing we have to do is to put the already made and frozen hamburger in a microwave oven. I think this change improved our lifestyle a lot.
At first, women (especially wives) don’t need to prepare food by taking a lot of time. They used to have to spend so much time to cook for their family, that they could have no time to leave their home. But today’s food has become so easy to cook that even children can prepare it by themselves. And so, it makes women free and gives them time. Now many women can work outside and go shopping with their friends without being worried about cooking.
And next, the change improved men’s life a lot. Men (especially single one’s) used to hesitate to cook food because of the troublesome process. Some of them never ate food if it was not prepared by somebody else. And the lifestyle harmed their health. But today, even lazy men can prepare food with ease and take nutrition.
From these viewpoints, I think that the change, that food has become easier to prepare, has improved the way people live.
You can choose anything you want. But it might be good that you choose NO.1, 2 or 3., because we can compare and contrast each other. Anyway try to write, at first.
There is a opinion that parents are the best teacher. Can it really be so?
My answer is "No". Undoutedly, myself, also, learned many good things from parents. However, now, all fields have experts. And, they can teach us what parents can't teach us, Besides, they lead us precisely. Namely, we can get the best education from them at every thing. In short, parents are imperfect as teacher.
Moreover, parents also see many bad aspects to children because of long living together. So, I think that parents are teacher who serves as an example of how not to behave. Ultimately, children correct their conduct by observing that of parents.
Accordingly, I think that parents aren't the best teacher.
◇4. Compare knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. ◇
A newborn baby has little knowledge. But they acquire various types of knowledge through their lives. Some kinds of knowledge would be from our own experience’s, others might be from somebody else’s.
Knowledge gained from our own experience is colorful. We got it thorough our lives, so we can recall it easily. We never forget the information that we gained with pain. And, their information is piled up naturally as we grow older.
But some of the knowledge is too hard to gain. It might be so specific or it might be from abroad. Also, the knowledge you intend to get might have passed away long time ago. Anyway, we cannot gain all knowledge from our own experience. At that time, however, we can get knowledge from some books.
Knowledge gained from books is not colorful as it is shown only as words. Even if it takes picture form, it is not solid. It is hard for us to know even its atmosphere. But we can image. So we can put colors on the knowledge by the imagination. Also, we can get knowledge any time we want because information on the books is arranged and portable,
When I compare and contrast these two types of knowledge, I think knowledge gained from experience is more important. Seeing is believing. Knowledge from my own experience cannot be replaced.
This is today's one. I think that this is pretty goog.
OH,sorry. I've misunderstood you. You are just asking me, right?
Then you want to know the reaseon that I write on my own essays, right. That is because showing essays to somebody is really good for me. As it 引き締める my writing attitude. And also, I want to communicate about TOEFL's essays.
I don't intend only to show my own essays. Actually, I really want to read your essays.

>>112 1 > Are there any mistakes? > I've checked it.
You write well with only occasional mistakes. Do you just want to write your essays here? Or do you expect the readers to correct your English?
>from our own experience’s → from our own experience/experiences >We got it thorough our lives, → We have acquired it throughout our lives >At that time ??? at times? in some cases? >But we can image → But we can imagine
Actualy, I don't exepect the readers to correct my English. Now I write one essay every day. Showing the essay i wrote to others tenses my attitude. And, opninions, even if it's blaming, are good for me. Because I can examine my essays from many sides, many viewpoints.
I think I should pay attention for my English more. Writing is harded than reading for me. I know that I cannt express exactly somrtimes. But I know also that the only way to improve this is just keep writing, checking, and rewriting a lot. I think so.
As the advance of electrical appliances for household use, the advance of food preservation's technology and the spread of cooked food, nowadays, preparation for a meal has become easier in comparison with old days. Then, can it really be true that this change has improved the way that people live?
I don't think that it's true. Undoubtedly, men of modern times is busy. So, there is no other way of having time than to reduce preparatory time for a meal, because they have no time to spare. However, in old days, a mother prepared a meal with children and a hasband, and a family had a meal all together. Thus, originally, as well as a basal unit of human relations, the whole of acts which is concerned with a meal are also what deepen family's affection.
As compared with it, in modern times, because many people prepare and have a meal by theirselves, their communication has become thin. Moreover, because they have many opportunities of having ready-cooked foods, they face a crisis that they may forget tastes of home cooking. These matters probably affect character building.
Accordingly, I don't think that simplification of preparation for a meal has improved the way that people live in the true sense.
H. Schlieman was a Germany archaeologist. He excavated the Bronze Age’s ruins of Troja. Since he listened to a story of Troja from his father when he was a child, he kept dreaming that he discovered it someday by himself. And then, he made his dream come true.
On the contrary to his rich latter year’s, he was so poor in his childhood. To realize his ambitious, he had to make a firm financial basis at first. Then, he started to study foreign languages.
The speed he mastered them was marvelous. After he mastered English and French at 20 years old, he mastered about 15 other languages over 20 years. Then, he earned funds to excavate Troja and succeeded in the excavation finally.
By the way, how did he master many kinds of languages? He indicates some interesting hints in his autobiography. He said: 1. Read a large amount at first 2. Never translate 3. Spend one hour at least for everyday 4. Write an essay always 5. and, ask teachers to make it correct 6. Learn revised essay by heat 7. and, recite it next day
He said, ‘I always wake up and take breakfast at 5 a.m., start to work at 6 a.m., and keep working till 10 p.m.. My bank is full of people and I talk eight kinds of languages all day long.’ His passionate life suggests many things to us. And, all his great achievement’s were spurred on by the story he listened to in his childhood.
1. Read a large amount at first 2. Never translate 3. Spend one hour at least for everyday 4. Write an essay always 5. and, ask teachers to make it correct 6. Learn revised essay by heat 7. and, recite it next day
Dear mayukottin: I have tried to rewrite your essay:
With the advent of electrical appliances for household use, the advance of food preparation technology, and the ready availability of precooked foods, preparing food has become much easier nowadays than in old days. Then, can it really be true that this change has improved the quality of people's lives? I don't believe that is the case.
In old days, a mother prepared food with the help of her children and her husband, and the whole family had meals together. Thus, in the past, the whole act of food preparation and consumption not only served as a basis for human relations but also deepened the affection of family members toward each other.
By contrast, men and women of modern times are undoubtedly very busy. They have little time to spare. One way to squeeze out extra time from a busy day is to reduce the time required for preparing food. Because in modern times many people prepare and have meals by themselves, communication among them has weakened. Moreover, since they have many opportunities for having ready-cooked foods, there is a danger that they may forget the joy of home cooking. It is likely that these matters adverserly affect their character building process.
It is for these reasons that I do not believe that easier meal preparation has improved the way people live.
Can't I use "Year's" and "achievement's" as the plurals and possessive cases of the respective nouns or something. I heard the way from native person. Though, it might be my misunderstanding
>>1 goes over to his friends house, and try and interfere with a conflict he is having with his girlfriend, like he was there the whole time and he knows exactly what is going on.
◇5. Discuss a new large factory’s influence and explain your position.◇
To build a large factory has some various risks. At first, it has the risk of pollution. It might cause harm to the public by noise, smoke, and dirty liquid waste from the factory. The pollution destroys an ecosystem, and it harms human health. Also it will raise the volume of traffic and cause a traffic jam. It is so dangerous for children. And these disadvantages might push land prices down.
On the other hand, to build a large factory has some advantages too. A new factory reinvigorates local economies. There will be a large demand for labor and it reduces the number of unemployed people. Also the market is revitalized. It causes competition between shops and pushes prices down. Many people gather from the community and the town might be developed.
Like the above, since to build a large factory has many advantages and disadvantages, it is hard to decide my position unconditionally. Before I decide my position, I want more information. So I ask the company to give more information to the public. How will waste be disposed? How will the security system be like? Is it safe and enough? By what time will the company manage the factory? Will people be working during the night? Then I check the other factories the company has. Are those factories working well? I might ask people in the neighborhood around those factories if they have got any harm.
Anyway, my position is up to the condition of how the company behaves. As the case may be, I will oppose the factory bitterly and definitely.
◇6. What would you change one important thing about your hometown? ◇
If I became the mayor of my hometown, and I could change one important thing, even without considering about the budget, I want to improve the elementary school’s education system boldly.
That is because the education system of my hometown is old. Although it used to be good when I was a student, it has now become out of date. As time’s change, the system should be changed to fit the new age. For children who will study from next year at the school, I think, we should change it now.
To fit an information-oriented society and internationalization, I include computer systems in elementary schools. It will make pupils meet some new values and they will know about the world more. It engages their growth. Also, they will manage their studies more smoothly and speedily because of it’s search function. On the other hand, however, it also contains a lot of harmful information for children. So we adults need to care if they get adequate information not to get wicked types.
People who support my hometown are children who are attending school now. So, to rise them up healthy and with wisdom, I want to change the education system of my hometown.
>>306 > As time’s change, → As times change (time's = time is, time has) > it’s search function. → its search function. (it's = it is, it has) > to rise them up healthy → to raise them healthy rise = intransitive verb raise = transitive verb
◇7. How do movies or television influence people’s behavior? ◇
Today there are many kinds of films or TV programs in a society. How do those influence people’s behavior?
At first, these influence young people a lot. Some young girls buy expensive dresses and imitate actress’s fashion. Some boys imitate one movie hero and behave like him. It is good while they just play. But sometimes, it causes a problem like an injury. So their parents need to pay attention so that they play carefully.
Next, movies or television make one particular value. In short, they call something ‘cool’, most people in the street feel that is ‘cool’. In today’s information-oriented society, mass media have very strong powers and provide us with vivid, stimulus images. Actually it contains useful one’s, though it also contains a large amount of advertisements. Movies and television, in fact, perform a role like publicity, and it makes value of the majority.
Don’t be passive, but be active. I think that we shouldn’t just get information with ease but reconstruct the circulation of the information.

◇8. ‘TV has destroyed communication among friends and family.’ agree? ◇
Some people insist that TV has destroyed communication among friends and family. However, I disagree with their opinion.
Regarding friends, TV programs mediate between our communications. We can talk with friends about the contents that TV has broadcasted before. Our communications develop through our common interest in TV programs. Sometimes, young people have few topics, if they didn’t watch TV. In a word, TV often helps to reduce friction in our daily lives.
We can say almost the same thing regarding family. TV sometimes might disturb the communication among family. But, it supplies us with more advantages than disadvantages.
In conclusion, I think, TV does not always destroy communication among friends and family, but it depends on how much we use it.
◇9. Which do you prefer to live in a small town or a big city? ◇
Now, I am living in the biggest city in Japan. The life in this city is very convenient and comfortable. But, I want to live in a small town actually.
The reason that I am living here now is just for my study. There are many kinds of bookstore, library, and university. I can use them almost at any time I want as some of them are open all day long.
On the other hand, however, life in a big city is stressful. Too many cars cause traffic jam or air pollution. The dirty air harms our bodies. There are also too many people. I sometimes feel as if I became only a part of a big machine.
So I prefer to live in a small town. I would like to move to that kind of place, if I had the chance.

◇10. ‘When people succeed, luck has nothing to do with success.’ agree? ◇
I agree with this quotation. I think that only hard work can bring a person success.
Luck is good things that happen to a person in the course of events by chance. Some people might get a large amount of money, a high position and power by chance. But, I don’t think these are cases of success.
Success is good results that occurs to a person deliberately. The person always hopes it and aims to make it real. He or she puts their hard work on target. There is no room for thinking about luck. Even if there was room for luck to interfere, it would be little space.
I think that people can succeed because of their own hard work.
11. Should universities give the same amount of money to their students’ sports activities as they give to their university libraries?
University is full of many kinds of students and many students make use of it almost every day. They meet their friends and spend a lot of time there. Also it is managed by students’ fees. So, if many students wish that universities would give the same amount of money to their students’ sports activities, it will, and should, be permitted to do so.
However, universities were at first established as a pace to make a study and the pursuit of truth in Middle Age. They gather much knowledge and developed their systems. And their knowledge has been pied up at university libraries. In history, university has always been a space for professors that are making a study. Students are only a user essentially.
From this viewpoint, I disagree with the statement. University should not give the same amount of money to their students’sports activities, unless many students wish that or the university is a physical university.
◇12. Why do many people visit museums when they travel to new place?◇
Today it has become easy to travel as the means of transportation have improved. And, many people visit museums when they travel to a new place. Why do they visit museums?
I think that is because every work of art is the only one in itself. We cannot see one, that is kept in the museums at Tokyo, in the museums at Paris. The only way to see that is visiting the museum that keeps it. So, I suppose people visit museums when they take a trip.
For me, the reason for visiting museums is to know the region I visited that day. Museums usually reflect the rural atmosphere well. Visiting museums is one of the easy ways to know the region. Also, some visit there as one sphere of a package tour.
Because of this, museums are one of the most popular places that people visit during their trip.
◇13. Which do you prefer, to eat food at food stands and restaurants or to eat at home?◇
I usually eat food at home. This is mostly because eating outside costs more than eating at home. I am a student and I do not have enough money actually. But indeed, I prefer to eat at restaurants to eating at home.
Firstly because restaurant food has a good taste. Professional chefs cook them carefully and they rarely make mistakes. Also, we can eat them as soon as they are cooked. It is so delicious that I don’t feel like eating dishes that I cooked for a while after I eat restaurant food.
Next, we can take time to relax after eating food. If we eat food at home, somebody must wash the dishes at once since the room will be filled with the smell. So, we cannot talk calmly together after eating. But we can have a good time if we eat at a restaurant.
Like the above, eating outside is better than eating at home for me.
You hadn't know what you had done and even my existence. No matter how I might cry,It was useless. I couldn't stand that the time passed heartlessly. How cruel How dreadful
Scatter my ashes, and I'll be able to read your mind. Don't hesitate Because I was torn apart...
◇14. Should university students be required to attend classes? Or, should going to classes be optional for students?◇
I agree with the opinion that going to classes should be optional for students. This is because university students are not pupils. They are adults having autonomous will. Going to classes should be up to them.
Unlike with universities, students are required to attend classes at elementary school or junior high school. This is because pupils lack the ability to decide things adequately by themselves. Pupils have not gained that ability yet, but they will learn it at school after this. So they are required to attend classes.
However, university students have gained (should have gained) that kind of ability. Classes at university are managed with acceptance on this point. If they don’t want to go to classes, they can do like they hope. As alternated nobody answer for the consequences.
I think that going to classes should be optional for university students.
◇15. In your opinion, what are the qualities of a good neighbor?◇
Neighbors are the people who live near us. What are the qualities of a good neighbor?
I think that, to be call ‘a good neighbor’, the person must keep local rules. This is because we each have local area in common. What one does probably influences the other ones. I should say to live by local rules is a marginal amenity.
For example, there would be the local rule that people must take the garbage out on Monday morning. If somebody breaks this rule, and takes it out on Friday, it will bother other people. Somebody else must tidy it. I would say a person like this is not a good neighbor.
In a word, the qualities of a good neighbor are to be able to live by local rules.
◇16. A new restaurant may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan?◇
If there is a plan that a new restaurant is built in my neighborhood, I will check three points about this plan.
At first, what type of restaurant is it? Is it a first food restaurant, a greasy spoon, or a classy restaurant? It might be a bar or a cabaret. I need to know the type first, in order to support or oppose the plan.
Secondly, what time will the restaurant be opened and closed? This is because too early opening or too late closing will disturb my life. I hope that it will be closed by 9 p.m. at the latest.
Thirdly, how will the restaurant dispose of garbage? This is the most important point. Some restaurants have little sense of responsibility about garbage. Even if it does, a lot of kitchen refuse will attract crows and cockroaches.
If this plan clears these three points, I will not oppose, but even support it.
Why do you need to know the type of the restaurant at first? Is it from your standpoint as a potential customer of the restaurant? Or do you want to estimate the impact on your community? If you are interested in know what kind of effects the appearance of the restaurant in your community would have, I think you should mention it. In third paragraph, you are explaining why you want to know how early or late the restaurant will open. I think the third paragraph is better than the second paragraph.
In the conclusion paragraph, you should specify what kind of explanation you are expecting from the company which has plan to open the new restaurant. You should clarify your interests and standpoints on this issue. I could not find out what kind of conditons you will support the plan with.
By the way, your are very interesting. Please continue your effort! Bye.
17. Some people think that they can learn better by themselves than with a teacher. Others think that it is always better to have a teacher. Which do you prefer?
When we learn something, we read textbooks. A teacher also teaches us. Which is better for our study, to learn by ourselves or to have a teacher?
It is a fact that we start to study things with our own initiative. We would choose something to study by ourselves, and not be forced, unless we are a junior high school student. As a general rule, the voluntary attitude is hoped in learning. Self-active will for learning is a necessary condition.
However, we sometimes meet problems that we cannot deal with by ourselves. When we meet that kind of problem, it is possible to neglect them. Though, we don’t stand much chance of substantial progress. In this case, it is the best way for learning to ask a teacher the question.
Accordingly I prefer to have a teacher when I learn something seriously. And, I think it is the best way for learning.
I don’t to mean offend you, and I haven’t read the original topic so ignore me if my suggestions are out of the point. According to your description, teachers are considered someone who gives information unilaterally. The idea seems to be rooted in the traditional Japanese teaching style. It might be effective learning method if the issues are identical, and there’s a clear goal or answer. However, things are changing these days. Once it was considered the right answer is sometimes regarded differently. For example, math-production was once the best method to pursue the maximum profitability. Now each individual requires a small, unique product that no one else has. Facing such a reality, we need to overhaul our teaching method and the relationship with our teachers. We can no longer expect in the teachers the “right” answer. Rather, we’d better build a relationship with teachers so that they could assist us to think.
Thank you for your comment. I think your viewpoint is contemporary and very good.
Today, some problems have had no answer. That's right. Like, public harm, destruction of environment, depletion of natural resources and food, andadvanced technology like CLONE. Those are problems that we all meet for the first time. Of course even professores don't know how to deal with. So I think that to build a relationship with teachers is very important, too, like you mentioned.
Because I like to take a walk. To wake up early is very good for me. It makes the day's life active. I like to go to Meiji-Jinguu. Though, it's sometimes difficult, I've decided it. I'll try also tommorow.
I am sick and tired of my days. I wasted another fucking day. I am pissed cuz this fucking day will end, and I will be pissed cuz fucking tomorrow will come.
◇18. What are some important qualities of a good supervisor?◇
A supervisor is a person who keeps watch over a job or activity as a person in charge. What are some important qualities of a good supervisor?
I think there are three important qualities. At first, a good supervisor must have adequate judgment and rapid office methods. This is because most of his followers’ activities are up to him. When a supervisor mistakes his judgment, his followers will not be able to act adequately. And, in business, speed is required. A delay of one minute can sometimes make a large amount of loss. A good supervisor needs to have rapid office methods.
Secondly, a good supervisor must have a heartful feeling for his followers. He is required to be capacious and tolerant of them. His attitude like this makes the workplace atmosphere good. A good heart attracts a good follower.
Thirdly, a good supervisor must have stamina. Although it seems that a supervisor’s job does not need stamina, it is not true. A supervisor needs to work harder than a labor. If he works less than his followers, they will have less confidence in him.
Accordingly these three elements are important qualities of a good supervisor.
Actually, now I study laws day after day after day after day. So, English is a kind of hobby for me. I study English at ease, and I really enjoy it. If I feel some stresses, I'll finish this, though, writing essays is enjoyable for me really. I'll keep this boad for a while. And, I want you to take part in this boad.
Every day stuff, like doing laundry and pay bills really sucks. Those things sucks up my precious time. I am saying "precious time" as an irony. Cuz, you know, what the use of the extra time anyway? Learning French, maybe? How useful I will be after learning another junk?
Weather also pisses me off. It's sticky and cold at the same time. Well, at least, I did not have to wash my car in this creasy polling rain.
I guess I am sick and tired of geeking out, learning something constantly. Forks might think I like study cuz I am a geek. Actually, I am just horrified by the fact that I know nothing enough to do my business. I just want to cover my ass. I hope I can have some break and do some dope. (Just kidding.)
◇19. Should governments spend more money on improving roads and highways than on improving public transportation (buses, trains, subways)?◇
Today many people own their own car. On the other hand, public transportation is well established. When governments improve traffic, which should governments spend more money on?
It is a fact that there are many cars, which are owned privately, in the society. When people go shopping, they usually prefer going by their own car rather than making use of public transportation. The reason they choose a car is that using a car is much more convenient than using public transportation. They can reach a store without walking outside. And, even under raining, they can take a step.
On the other hand, however, cars cause public harm. Now, this is the problem. I think, governments should spend more money on improving public transportation and they should try to reduce the harm cars cause to build a clean city. Although buses cause smoke too, the quantity is much less. Public transportation, like buses, trains and subways, outperforms from an economical viewpoint.
I think that governments should spend more money on improving public transportation.

>>623 こんなんでよけりゃ。 One of my heritages, recklessness, has always inflicted losses upon me: once I jumped down out of the second floor and hurt my hip so bad that I couldn't stand for a week.
Recklessness runs in my blood since the childhood. That has often driven me to reckless actions and after all made me feel bad . When in the primary school I once jumped off from the second floor of the school building to the ground and got hurt. I couldn't move at all for a week because of the shock.

ありがとうございます。訂正しました。これでOKでしょうか。 These days, I spend my time in reading a novel of the old days. The reason why I do so is firstly , I felt like reading the moving novel I had once read rather than today's boring one. Secondary, I found it interesting to see how the author matures as he writes his long novel .
I've been reading old, lengthy novels these days. One reason is that I happened to have a desire that, rather than reading recent boring novels, I'd like to read once more such novels that I read before and had a good impression. Another reason is that I found it interesting to see a writer become more mature while writing very long novels.
Nowadays, I read a long novel of the old days . One reason is that I found the novel by which I had once moved was more worth reading than today's boring one. And the other is that how the author matured while writing his novel attracted my interest. (
I thought that we understood each other at last. Since it's meaningless to get impatient, I wanna continue this. Gradually, aches became weaker and We licked tears to each other. I plastered mud at your whole body. Your breast is the world's No.1. In my life, I don't need joy any more. I wish meeting you here again tomorrow. It had sweet smells, was soft and was shining faintly. I couldn't talk with whom and worried alone.
To be honest, he didn't give a slightest impression that he was different from ordinary people on me when I first met him. But today no one will deny his greatness.
Paul is a supposed native speaker of English. You've noticed he often resorts to bravado. That may get you irritated. For me, however, it doesn't matter, because he speaks Japanese.
As you may realise, there're lots of English men who only can teach English, though they don't speak Japanese- what's more, most of them don't even try to learn the language. Compared with the likes of them, Paul comes across as a nice guy to me.
The point is we must support Paul, to protect him from bad guys on the massage system. In return, he would teach us some English. That will benefit us. What do you say?
Paul is thought to be a Japanese teacher in London, I mean he teaches Japanese. So he's deeply interested in the way Japanese communicate, especially on the internet. I hope Paul the great Japanese teacher will come visit Japan as soon as he can.
And, to say the truth, I have onece met with him in person. He was very handsome compared to bad and ugly guys on the message system. Those bad guys do not have decent jobs, and have a lot of time to say bad things. I really hate them.
But don't forget. English men are so protective, cynical to us, that they often annoy you. If you really want to be friends with them, you need to put up with their attatudes towards everything.
>>735 No, my love with him is a platonic one and have "never" imagined having sexial intercourse with him. On the contrary, I guess you are always thinking of having a sex with beautiful ladies on a TV screen. I have never seen as useless a person as you!
>>739 No! It is for our benefit, not for my love that I recommend you to protect Paul. I have stated the same thing in >>731. I guess you don't understand my English. What a poor person-
>>741 Right you are. Paul must be sensitive to anything abrasive and disparaging, because he's from London. We need to get any filthy stalker out of him!
To Paul, please let you know how many supporters there are here on the message system. We're friends. So don't be afraid to post a next message on any thread.
U.S. Marines, claiming to have broken the enemy, today went door to door searching for remnants of an insurgent force in Falluja. Between 1,000 and 2,000 insurgents have been killed in the week-long assault, Marine Lt. Gen. John Sattler said. The American death toll rose to 31, with six Iraqi forces also reported killed.
I want a little girl who loves me a lot. I have been looked for beatiful and gentle woman. One day, I met a beatiful girl who speaks English native-like. I was astonished her when she spoke English for the first time. Since she spoke the language, my world was completly changed, and I fell in love with her.
When I met with her for the first time, I grudually reminded the real purpose of my life. I don't know whether she and I will become a couple, but I feel that I must say something to tell her.
People don't have enough time to study English because they have to do a pile of work. Basically, they study English after their work, and they hope they speak English like American or British.
English language has been spreaded around the world through music, movie, and internet, hence English is regarded as the world commnicational language.

The reason why a complete Utopia would't be realized is largely as follows. Had the humanity itself not be changed, the outright utopia should not come out. Had the humanity itself changed, what we seemed utmost utopia could turn to be felt uncomplete at once.
Today, tea is one of the most staple produce in this country. It was originally brought in from China in Kamakura era as a collateral ramification of Buddhist culture. Ever since, it has spread over to every corner of this country and become very popular among common people.
Tea is an important product in this country now. Its origine is that Buddist monks had imported it from the continent. After Kamakura era it gradually spread around this country. Then common people has come to consume it populary.

I finally found this site and have made up my mind to practice making sentences. As one of my English teachers told us that making sentences in English is the basis of brushing our skill up, I realized that I should have studied it earlier. Fortunately, I'm still in the first grade, I have enough time to improve my English.
This site is of great valuable to almost all students including me, I guess. I'd like to practice here so that I can pass the exam of Universities.

I think we should consider and on top of that support them. They had better be able to use their computer. Because most of worker in industrial countries have use it. And incase of they will be able to use it, we can increase many things that we can do. For example, we will be able to get various knowladge, write many words speedy and beautifuly and on top of that contact one another. But in terms of economy, they can't get computer skill. So we have to support them. First, we have to teach them how to write and read English. In poor country, many people can't write and read their langage of nation. They can't use their computer, if they can't write and read English and on top of that their language of nation. In case of they will be able to write and read English, they will be able to get many information from various countly because of many countly people have learn English, and on top of that contact with various country people. Next, we have to teach them skill of computer. The more they know it, the more they can increase many things that they can do with computer. So we have to make several good texit or several good teacher have to go to Africa and another poor country. It is the best, if people who are in the all of the world will be able to use their computer though it is not easy. But we have to try our best, no matter what difficulties we may face.
How did Japanese folk come to what’s now? Resolved origins of other Asian folks can be a great clue to clarify this answer.
In the mountainous region of southern China, people of the ethnic minority Miao tribe live. But they originally lived in the Midland Plains of China. According to the mythology of Chinese (Han people), ancient Chinese won a furious conflict against Miao, and Miao survivors fled southward.
And not only Miao tribe, but a lot of other peoples in and out of China were affected by the great expanse of Chinese living range. For example, Thai tribe, now living in the Indochinese peninsula, originally lived in southern China. And they settled in current Thailand in middle age, because their original homeland was threatened by Chinese army with immigrants.
And the origins of Koreans and Japanese are guessed to be the same as theirs. Ancient Koreans and Japanese tribes lived in northern China, but they were beaten by Chinese. So they were obliged to flee to current Korean peninsula. But in this land, two tribes conflicted furiously each other. As a result, Japanese lost and were forced out of the continent…
That’s why Japanese came to their islands. Ancient Japanese were beaten not only by Chinese but by Koreans. Yes, Japanese are descendants of LOSERS!!

問 To encourage young people to learn English, books like the Harry Potter series should not be translated into Japanese. Do you agree? Why?
No, I don't. I think books should be translated into Japanese. Because it is difficult for Japanese to understand English books. But when these books are translated into Japanese, true story might be lost. So we should be careful not losing true story.

Recently we have heard news about impoverished foods security such as selling the frozen foods, in which were made China, with a toxic substance which has a possibility of killing human and doing the foods which were no longer eaten on account of its poor quality. In face of those situation such as represented above, first I would like to think about its cause or root in terms of the world-wide influential ‘Capitalism’ and later, I should also like to argue the obligation or responsibility of today’s foods industry. # # # Frankly speaking, when I look into those problems of foods security, I can’t help saying that they have root in the system of the ‘Intense Capitalism’ in which has been prevailing entire world, even China or Cuba that had once sided with communist system, since the end of Cold war. Here what I want to say is that; the intense capitalism has been spurring the intense competition between many countries, many multinational firms and that it( the intense competition) has also been breeding the system in our world that ‘money’ is uttermost. Additionally, I must say that the US and its subject countries have contributed to the pervasion of the intense competition; of cause they have intended to do so. I can also state that the US-we can thought to be a notable contributor- was the most vicious actor in the world;

This is a very sensitive and difficult problem, but I do not approve of this statement. You can easily imagine what would happen to our society if it were to be abolished. Without capital punishment our criminal rates would be getting higher and higher, and ,our street would no longer be a safer place. Besides,I storongly believe that it is only right that people should be punished for their crimes and anyone who is brutal enough to mudder someone else deserves to be sentenced to death. Our society is always governed and ruled under the law, which serves us to keep our society in peace. Without death penalty I am afraid that the law will lose its dominant power and influence on the nation.
問 インターネットが与える子供達への影響について 10語程度で5文以上 I think that it is good for children to use inter-net. For example, they can know something to the world by using it. Of course,That help them to understand many international problems. The best way to diminish trashes is to know well about the problem. I think that children should use inter-net more and more.
Recently we have heard news about the impoverished food security--selling the frozen foods, in which were made China, with a toxic substance which has a possibility of killing human and selling the food which can no longer be eaten on account of its poor quality-- In face of those situation such as those represented above, first I would like to think about its cause or root in terms of the world-wide influential ‘Capitalism’ and later, I should also like to argue the obligation or responsibility of today’s foods industry.
Recently we have heard news about (本題に入るまでが長い) the impoverished food security (→the safety of foodsぐらい) --selling the frozen foods, (食品の安全性全般かと思ったら中国の冷凍食品に限定?) (frozen foodsは凍った食べ物、冷凍食品ならchilled meals) in which were made China, (which were made in chinaか、もっと単純にmade in chinaでよろし) (polluted/contaminated) with a toxic substance (一般には単数とは限らない →toxic substances/materials) which has a possibility of killing human (→can potensially kill people who eat them 原文の主語述語の単複は呼応せず) and selling the food which can no longer be eaten on account of its poor quality-- (農薬餃子か、賞味期限切れの別の問題か?読者はわからないのでイライラ) (---はなるべく使わない) In face of those situation such as those represented above, (上記程度の文には長すぎる For those situationsぐらい) first I would like to think about (とにかく前置きが長くてくどい) its cause or root in terms of the world-wide influential‘Capitalism’ (そんな大上段構えて大丈夫か!?) and later, I should also like to argue the obligation or responsibility of today’s foods industry. (大学入試じゃないよね?卒論ぐらい?)
Many bad news about the safety of our foods have been reported recently; (chilled) meals contaminated with toxic materials (which may kill those who eat them), expired foods, and reproduction of new foods from expired products. (生々しい具体例をもっと挙げる) To understand the situation, the presence of 'Capitalism' among the world-wide influential companies is pointed out here. Later, obligation and responsibility of today's foods industry are discussed.

The internet can be very useful not only to adults but also to children. Children can know something of the world precisely and instantaneously through it. There are, however, many problems about it, in particular as to children's use. To understand the problem, it is necessary to specify the problem.(何いってんの!?) I think that children should use the internet more and more.
I am against the Death penalty. Everyone has the right of life. However, the Death penalty deprives criminals of this right. How could we justify the deprivation of the right of life? It is impossible. Some people who are for the Death penalty say that this system prevents a heinous crime such as murder.
However,it is doubtful that the Death penalty is effective in detering people from committing a heinous crime. For some criminals don't fear being executed. So I think we should abolish this system.
I am against the Death penalty. (主張が明確OK) Everyone has the right of life. (→the right to liveが語呂的に宜し) However, the Death penalty deprives criminals of this right. (howeverはここぞ!というところにしか使わぬこと。ここは省く) How could we justify the deprivation of the right of life? It is impossible. (派生語を含めて同じ言葉の重複使用はなるべく避ける。) Some people who are for the Death penalty say that this system prevents a heinous crime such as murder. (some people sayの表現は軽い) (Death penalty is partly based on an expectation that it might prevent〜など) However,it is doubtful that the Death penalty is effective in detering people from committing a heinous crime. (英辞郎で「抑止力」を検索すると次の例文が出てくる) ("Capital punishment cannot be a deterrent to serious crimes.") (これを借りると次の一文を含めて It cannot be a deterrent to serious crimes, for some criminals don't fear of it.など。forは「理由」。でもother criminalsは? とツッコミが入りそう) For some criminals don't fear being executed. So I think we should abolish this system. (主張が明確OKだが、くどい。字数を内容の充実に使うべき)
I think we can't deal with the flood of information. However, there are other things we can do. One of them is to tell children "there are a lot of untrue information, so you have to see information as much as you can, and get true information."
I think we can't deal with the flood of information. (Why? You must face with it!) However, there are other things we can do. (この文不要) One of them is to tell children "there are a lot of untrue information, (untrueは素直に"false"と) so you have to see information as much as you can, and get true information." ("get information"のgetの重複を避けたのだろうがseeはreceiveのほうがよい) (you must receive information as much as you can, and get the true one) (わざわざ間接話法にすることもない)
There is a dizzying deal of information that we even couldn't manage. I recommend that we (should) learn "media literacy", in which we can deal with ample information. The media literacy is the ability to find out the necessary one from a vast pool of information.
