肉体表現。聞き慣れない言葉だと思います。
創造学園大学では、
肉体を使って自己を表現するものは芸術であると考え、
芸術学科のコースの中で指導しています。
サッカーの、
正確な判断と連係によって生まれる美しいプレーに人は感動し、
酔いしれます。野球のひたむきに白球を追う姿、
1点を巡る白熱した攻防には心を熱くさせられます。
もちろん、演劇やダンスといった表現活動は芸術そのものです。

サッカーのプロを目指しながら各種資格の
取得ができる大学として人気があります。

堀越学園が母体となったJFLアルテ高崎の
選手として活躍中の学生もいます。

高校野球で甲子園出場実績のある付属高校を有する本学は
大学野球でもその活躍が期待されています。

駅伝コースは国際的長距離ランナーをコーチに迎え、
箱根駅伝出場を目指しています。

演劇は倉田保昭を主任教授に迎え、
映像にも舞台にも通用する演劇人を育成します。
演劇人とは基礎教養を身につけ、
一般社会にも適応する真の人格者であると倉田教授は考えています。
倉田保昭からのメッセージです。

肉体表現は、すなわち心の表現である。
人間は、内面のみならず外見も大切なものである。
人とのコミュニケーションも肉体表現の一部である。

無気力、無表情、無関心な若者たちが、
自己に目覚め、自分の感情を豊かに表現できるよう指導します。
特に目の表現力、そして肉体における全身表現法について、
私個人の芸能生活38年間、武道経験53年、
香港映画界36年の経験を生かした授業を行います。

肉体を表現するにはさまざまな手段があります。
肉体表現コースでは演劇に必要な訓練の他、
コンテンポラリーダンスの第一人者、
家坂慶子によるダンスの実技授業も行います。
肉体を動かす時には動きの勢い、リズム、動機、
流れを理解しなければなりません。ダンスの授業では、
まず自分の体を知る為の基礎知識と、
体を動かす仕組みについて指導します。
基礎知識を明確に理解することにより、
肉体のあらゆる機能を生かした表現が実現します。

一方で、教養科目として、
英語やパソコン演習等の国際社会で
必要なツールを必修科目として学びます。
芸術学科の専門科目の色彩論や日本美術史、
西洋美術史等を学び、総合的な文化の知識を深めることもできます。

音楽学科、ソーシャルワーク学科（社会福祉）も併設していますので、
コンサートを鑑賞したり、社会福祉の授業を受講することもできます。
他の芸術学科のコース、デザインや漫画、陶芸や茶道の学生たちとの
交流も活発です。真の人格者として必要なことを学び、
豊かな感受性を育む4年間です。

1年次
　基本的な発声法、マイム、朗読を学びます。
表現法として肉体の解放、身体の自覚、心の表現、
喜怒哀楽を学びます。
家坂慶子によるダンス Iも別途専門科目として開講されます。
「キャンバスに絵を描くように肉体の動きで表現できたら」
をテーマにダンスを学びます。体と心の波長を細やかに合わせ、
チューンアップされた楽器のように空間の中で体を動かすこと
を目標とします。

2年次
言語表現・スピーチの技法、体全体の表現、
素手による表現、リアクションを学びます。
ダンス IIも別途開講されます。
肉体を表現の手段とすることを目標に、
ムーブメントの仕組みを学び、
表現方法を深めていきます。

3年次
武術、ボディーアクションを学び、
各自の創作表現を発表します。舞台制作、公演を行います。
西川流の西川扇生による日本舞踊 Iも別途開講されます。
日本舞踊の実技指導の他、舞踊史やをどりの様式、
性格、種類、役柄等の講義も行われます。

4年次
殺陣、アクロバットを学び、
4年間の集大成として卒業公演を行います。
　日本舞踊 IIも別途開講されます。
おどりの演技と表現、演出、裏方等を学びながら
日本舞踊の美を深めていきます。

ダンスコース
クラシックからモダンダンス、日舞まで、
幅広いジャンルを網羅して、プロの先生方の指導が受けられます。

本学の海外留学制度は、幅広くグローバルな視野を持ち、
国際社会で活躍できる人材を育成するために設けられた
日本で初めての画期的な 教育・研究システムです。
このシステムの独自性は、本システムを利用する留学生が、
経済的先進国と開発途上国ニカ国の4年制大学で半年間程度
留学することを原則とすることにあります。

世界には191カ国の国と地域が国連に加盟しています（2004年)。
うち現在、 約30カ国が国内外に紛争を抱えており、
これらの紛争国を除く国への留学を前 提としています。
なお留学先は、現在日本が国交を持つ国に限定しています。

学生は音楽、芸術（サッカーを含む）、
ソーシャルワークの各自の専門分野に係る学部に留学する予定です。
それにより、 日本以外の先進国の優れた知識や文化を吸収すると共に、
開発途上国の現状を体験することで、新しい世界への出会いが生まれます。
また、単位認定や学費のバックアップ さらに留学期間中も本学の在学期間
として認められるため、4年間での卒業も可能です。
留学についての動機がしっかりとしていれば、
オリジナリティ溢れる留学を体験することができます。

留学期間中に取得した単位や成果を、
一定の上限内で本学の単位として認定するため、
留学期間も本学の在学期間として認められ、
4年間での卒業も可能となります。

水琴亭
4,000坪の庭園は、10年の歳月をかけ、
小池学長と数奇屋建築の大家・藤井喜三郎氏を中心として、
多くのボランティアによって造園がなされました。

ミュージアム三福庵
森と学園のコンセプトから「森をつくろう！」
という運動を私たちは提唱しています。
その実践例が三福庵の森です。
そこには1億数千年前の珪化木の化石や
樹齢500年のさるすべりの名木もあります。

武尊温泉 萱の家
萱葺きの建物としては日本一の大きさです。
セミナーハウス・保養所として、学生のみならず、
一般の方にも開放しています。利根郡川場村、
武尊山の 南麓に位置し、
学園の所有する武尊温泉「萱の家」は優れた泉質、
総ヒノキの浴室で知られ、
「日本秘湯を守る会」より「日本の秘湯」にとり挙げられています。
