To the D300’s credit though, it is not meant to be a　low-light camera like the D3
The good news is that the D300 also offers SO many new and useful features/improvements over the D200 like dust reduction, live preview,
faster frame rate, better battery, bigger/better LCD, etc, etc., that these things alone can justify anupgrade regardless of the noise performance.

ニコンブースで多数ある撮影可能のサンプル機を使ってISO1600で10.5mmDXレンズを付けて撮影してみたのですが、
このD300がD200よりたいしてノイズ性能が良くないことがわかりました。
特に失望させられたのは、高ISOでのディテールの損失量でした。
それはこのカメラが強度のソフトウェアノイズリダクションを使わなければならないことを意味していました。」
