英語の聞き流し、英英辞典を引くのは効果があると思います。
英英辞典を引くのや英和の用例を調べるは、
結局文中での単語の使い方を知る勉強だと思います。
英文丸暗記もその効果があると思います。

「偉い」という意味と、疲れたという意味で使う「えらい」が
ありますよね。それだけで使うとどちらの意味かが曖昧ですが、

といったように、使い方がある程度絞られると思うんです。

どの文でどの意味をとるかということをとっさに判断できるようになるには、

I only have an experience of helping a man who was publishing a book
in both Japanese and English, but that was about it.
I suggest you write a couple of E-mails to some interpreting offices,
and I believe they would love to answer to a young talent like you.
All I can tell you now is that you are going to need to be a great communicator,
so the waiting job at the restaurant is a good training of having communication with a lot of people.
Because, in my theory, improving your language skill mostly depends on
how much you communicate with other people.
From my experience, I could tell that one who likes to talk improves his/her language skill faster.
Oh boy, I know I should not say too much about what I don’t know, but I would think that
learning the vocabularies and knowledge you are going to need in the special field would be an easy part.
You might want to spend some time to learn the society first.
If I were you, I would be scared of becoming an interpreter before I am 30.

今、英語の勉強を独学でしています。basic grammar in useで文法をおさらい中です。
単語のボキャブラリーを増やすなら、やっぱりその手の参考書を読んだほうがいいんでしょうか。
TOEICや英検、受験用でない単語帳っていうのはありますか？目標は洋書を読めるようになることです。

洋書を読むために単語のボキャブラリーを増やすのは無駄だと思う。
今すぐに洋書を読みながら単語を調べていく方が(・∀・)ｲｲ!!
単語帳をやっても洋書の中に知らない単語が無くなることはないし。
