“He’s been really, really good,” Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. “He’s playing very efficiently, making great passes, and I think he’s really tried to pick his defense up.”
“He’s done a great job making plays this year, particularly on high pick and rolls,” he said. “I think what’s happened is as people have recognized his ability both to get to the rim and to shoot the ball on the pick and roll, so he’s drawing a second defender more than he has in the past. And he’s finding people and making that play.”
