Catalyst 5.9 introduces directional motion adaptive deinterlacing algorithm through the 3D shader.
The algorithm will detect edges in 5 different directions.
This reduces artifacts, and improves the overall detinterlace video quality.

{3C5323C1-6FB7-44F5-9081-056BF2EE449D}と言うのがCAT5.9で新たに追加されたデインターレースらしい

実写のぱっと見では違いが分からなかったけど
こいつで新デインターレースと旧デインターレースを比べたら一目瞭然だった
