UAEはパトリオット・ミサイル防衛システムを9部隊相当分購入予定でPAC3ミサイル対抗
ミサイルを288個、PAC2を216導入予定である。これらの総額は90億ドルに上る。UAEは
イランのミサイルに対抗することを想定している(後略）
パトリオット・ミサイルは進入してくる航空機の攻撃にも効果がありUAEはイランのミ
サイルと航空機の侵入に対抗する為にPAC3, PAC2を購入する。
The UAE wants the Patriot mainly for protection from Iranian aircraft and missiles.
Patriot has also shot down several aircraft, most of them in friendly fire
incidents (brought about by electronic hardware problems, usually in the aircraft).
However, the Patriot is considered very effective against aircraft.
