This is not an issue that is exclusive to Japan. At the moment, the head developer is investigating the reason behind the inaccurate location and weather on Zooper.

俺が前にメールしたときは「Open Weather Map使っといてよ」っていい加減な返事だったんだけど、今回は対応してくれそうだわ。

ちなみに送ったメールに添付したのはこの2枚のスクショ。

1枚目上: Yahoo Weatherのウィジェット
1枚目中: CyanogenmodのLockClockウィジェット(天気プロバイダーYahoo指定)
1枚目下: Zooper(天気プロバイダーYahoo指定)

スマホの位置情報を切ってブラウザでYahoo Weatherを開くと、ネットのプロバイダーによるけど現在地が「Japan, Japan」と認識されることがある(2枚目)
Zooperが表示してるのはスマホの位置情報に関わらず、場所を手動で指定してもこの「Japan, Japan」と同じ値なので、位置情報が正しく送信されていない、とメールした。
