This thread is aimed at animation/sakuga enthusiasts. People just oughta know how phony Japorn Animes are.
Current Japanimes aren't much different from porn, although there are a few of legit animations such as Miyazaki Hayao.
Now, a bunch of young animators are trying desperately to copy Tanaka Hironori in Japorn Animes. What a pity. I'm tired of the whole thing.
If you've deep interest in animations, you've to watch the real stuffs such as DISNEY/PIXAR, and just thank to John Lasseter the savior of true animation. Because John Lasseter will save our life:) :) :) Japanime suckkkks.
Yes, Disney will save you if you believe in them:) ;) Heartcatch was quite good, it has some decent animations, notably Umakoshi, though these years are boring.
Example A: Why BONES COPS are so annoying? B: Because they have no life.
Example A: Another mid/low Tanaka Hironori wannabe... I'm fuckin' tired of these. B: Just watch DISNEY instead. You shall be saved by John Lasster. A: Thank you, Lasseter!
>>16 Who's americopun. Is that a character from your fav anime? We're the masses consisting of John Lasseter believers. In our community nobody likes BONES INC.
FROZEN won the Golden Globe, the Annie Award, and even the Oscar. This means lots of critics and specialists gave credit to the film. It's hard to deny this film, I think.
I'm amazed that BBC had such a perfect documentary over 10 years ago. The history of animations(from W. McCay to J. Lasseter) are summarized in this program simply and neatly. Also, the program includes an interview Lasseter speaks about Hayao.
Korea’s Finecut Kicks Off ‘Red Shoes’ Animation The $12 million family-oriented 3D animated project is now in production at Locus Creative Studio, one of the leading animation and VFX companies in Korea. Delivery is scheduled for summer 2017.
This is most likely the best work Chuck Jones has ever directed (except for Bugs & Duffy). It's enjoyable to dig such a classic cartoon, to know the roots of today's animations;) ;) :)
"Feast" has performance comparable to 3D short classics such as "Luxo Jr." and "Tin Toy". It's surely best for the animation culture that Disney takes back the power in short films. Thank you, Lasseter! :) :)
