I, a Japanese sports lover, have something to ask you, sports lovers in the US. I heared some of you look down on soccer, claiming soccer to be a sports for women, children and poor Latin Americans. But the fact is, it is one of the most appriciated sports around the world. Such as World Series or Super Bowl are not at all popular outside the US. I'm afraid most people don't even know their existence. I guess it's like your interest in Japanese Sumo. As you probably don't know the names of Sumo champions, most people around the world don't know basball stars and NFL heroes. Let me just say they are minor sports. As for motor sports, I'm sure many of you are interested in karting much more than F1. But people around the world paying much attention to F1 and few people are interested in karting. There are differences between American standard and that outside the US. Of course you're free to love whatever you wnat to, but you have no right to look down on soccer, soccer players and soccer fans Just respect. Don't think Your standards are universal.
