My experience before and after "The Shichirigahama incident(June 1975)". After I began editing this page "Yesterdays once more", I realized that I experienced a Bosozoku which changed and inspired my personality both negative and positive way. Once I strated in writing my experiences, those things and happenings, flowlessly, popped up out of my empty head one by one, and I could not stop thinking about those things last few weeks since I found a Gogangai's dedicated to an old
"Bousouzoku" stories. Indeed, last 30 years, almost, I even did not think such things after I came to California 1980's. I was too busy to establish myself and adjusting my new personality or identity into the new county.I think I was conciously and unconciously denied my experience and my past exsistance as a member of the bosouzoku that era. So I decided to write down whatever comes out of my head. This writing in my past might be a function as a psychotherapy and self re-disscovery. These days, people called/termed us as the "Hashiri-ya", "Kaidou Racer", and "Ochikobore". Since I was 16 years old, I began riding a mini tore (Yamaha mini trail 50 or 80 cc) was my first bike and next one was the "Yamaha XS 650", and two different types of XS 650s I owned. First one which the starter was like a J-shaped hook that next to the brake handle, and next one which the starter was tiny button which located next to the brake handle also. I also owned several Honda "Cabu" 50cc and 80cc(?), which frequently used "demae" bike by the Sushi-ya or Ramen-ya. Thus, the Cabu which called "Demae bike". Oh, I also owned a Suzuki "Ban Ban 80cc" which equipped with wide and fat tires.
Before I reached 18 years old, I bought a Toyota Callora and used to get to the driving school(Machida Kyoshu-jo) for my drivers lisence. Later on, one of the Ponko classmage (Nihon Daigaku Fusoku, Fujisawa Kouko which I attended from 1972-1975) Suzuki Kazuyoshi who wrecked my car near the "Dream Land" in Tozuka-ku after we had attended the shounan Reng shuukai around fall in 1974. Suzuki was driving my car and his friend occupied front passenger seat while one friend and I were in the back seat. Because he was a wealthy and reputable family in Fujisawa-shi, Suzuki?s mom gave me money more than the car right after the accident, I think, she was afraid of the accident with DUI (driving under influence) might be a scandal for their family or something. Then I bought a Toyota Celica that is on the pictures and the Celica was one of the hot and cool cars then. Memory of the Machida-shi(Tokyo to/prefecture) is part of Tokyo.
Machida-shi is where I lived and grew up from 5 years to 18 years old is located unique geographical setting, and some people thought that Machida was a part of Kanagawa-ken. However, this geographical location, the Machida is gateway to the Shinjuku, Yokohama, Enoshima, Odawara, and Hachioji by the Odakyu sen and Yokohamasen (reaches about 20min to an hour). This reason many local friends(home boys and girls) who attended their high schools such surrounding areas which contact with variety of the bosozoku groups, . Those areas also represented in terms of the bousouzokus dislike eath other and fighting as well as relationships between them were very complicated for example, the CRS (cats, route, specter), nezumi kozou, black emperor (Shinjuku and Setagaya), Bushu rengo (hachioji area), then the Yokohama rengo (oto, piero, etc) and the Shounan rengo (knuckle), and the Soushu rengo (Odawara and Atugi). I used to have friends those areas. So, if I went to the Fujisawa, then I was belong to the Shounan rengo, then following weenend, I attended a shuukai at the Komazawa kouen (CRS).
These people in Tokyo side were Mr. Uchida and Mr.Komine (Alley cat at Hino city, but Komine worked at Dosanko ramen at Yurigaoka in Kawasaki, and Ucchida used race his bike at Fuji circut). Ms Zubeko known as Komae-no Kiyomi (she was a famous sukeban in the Sakuragaoka Ko ko or shougyo kouko who belong to the Nezumi Kozou in Komae station in the Odatyu), Mr. Osawa was the member of the Joker and Black emperor, in the Takaido/shimo takaido in Setagaya was son of the Osawa Tailor shop). On the other hand, I have large number of friends in Kanagawa side because my high school was located in Kameino, Fujisawa-shi, Kanagawa-ken. Mr. Suzuki Kazuyoshi (was a son of the Gofuku store in the front of the Fujisawa station and was belonged to the white knuckle), Mr. Araki (from Chgawaki was big guy), Mr. Suzuki Yoshiharu (know as Shochu who rode a Honda CB 750 in Tozuka-ku, but I don't remember which group he was belong to), Mr. Sakane Shouzo (who rode a Honda CB 500 and then a Nissan Skyline ken-Meri?Ebelong to the Su-zuku, in sukaren in Yokosuka but he was very sensitive man. I heard that he committed suicide), Mr. Furukawa (known as a Rupan sansei who belong to the "Hair Pin Circus Piero" and rode a Kawasaki?s "Dabohan" from Mitukyo in Seya-ku), Mr. Hayama touru (who was son of the chicken ranch and rode a Yamaha RD 250 in Hatori, Fujisawa-shi; the RD 250 was ,one time,
literally mine), Mr. Aoki Joji (from Atami city, Shizioka-ken and son of a Hotel owner), Mr. Nozu (from Kanazawa bunko in Yokohama was belonged the Oto) . There were so many friends in Machida-shi, Hoshi (from Tamagawa Gakuen Mae drove a Nissan fairlady, and later he admitted into the Kokushikan Daigaku where he joined "Dai Nihon Koukoku Gakusei Rengo" and several his friends "Yoshinaga:" and "Kitamura" which controlled, in the sense, Gokuaku and Minagoroshi?s Atamas who were their Kouhai and the students at the Kokushikan High school in Umegaoka, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo). Mr. Takayama (drove his father?s Toyota pick up with logo on the both side of the truck bed saying Takayama Omocha Ten belong to a Cupid and Gedo), Mr. Kishimoto (rode a Suzuki water cooled 750 belong to a Cupid, and Bishamonten. I took his 750 was so quiet, but I felt too heavy), Mr. Uchida (drove a Nissan Sunny or bluebird belong to Cupid), Mr. Fujino (drove a Nissan Sunny truck hot-rod and atama of the Bushuu-rengo from Sagami-ko cho), Mr. Ikeda Tuyoshi (drove a Mazda Savanna belong to Cupid or Gedo), Mr. Ando (was nicknamed anpan whom belonged the Cupid and Gedo). PS. I was born in Yokosuka and lived in the Misaki in front of the Jugashima and moved to the Samukawa cho, near Chigasaki then moved to Machida-shi when I was 5/6 years old. Shikeiiii!!!
On June 1975, I (pictured above) was, right before, going to a Shukai at the Komazawa Kouen with people from the "Alley Cat" "Specter" and our team, "Route 20 car club" there were also some small groups presence then cruised to the Shounan Kaigan later that night. Once we got there, we were talking about who planed and set up the "piano sen incidence" sometimes way back 1-2 month ago at the Komazawa kouen. Someone in the some group the small wire which looks like the Piano cable that were set up on the street. I heard that several bike kids injured. We thougt that incident was played by 1. Nezumi Kozou, 2. Tokyo Rengo, 3. Black emperor? 4. Shonan rengo, and 5. cops. Anyway we headed to the Shounan Kaigan because the Kat people belived that incidence was by the Oto and white Knuckle. After we encountered with the shounan rengo, I experienced one of most messy and shitty fight (several hundred participants and destruction of cars and bikes) between the Tokyo groups (CRS) and the Kanagawa groups (Shounan rengo) called the Shichirigahama Kousou or Shichirigahama jiken which I actively participated.
At the Komazawa Kouen (park) the night, there were more than 300 cars and bikes turned out(there were always estimate who knows, how could we count the bunch of cars). We were told to cruise down the Shounan Kaigan (some people said that was intended to retaliate or fight with the Shonan Rengo because of the Piano-sen jiken) the months earlier. Anyway, Anyhow, we usually cruised either the Yoyogi Kouen via the Aoyama Douri to join another groups and cruising around the Harajuku (via route 246, Yoyogi douri) and the Shinjiku district, the Sagami-ko, or the Tukui-ko (via route 20 or Koushu Kaido), and the Shounan Kaigan, Manazuru, Enoshima (various roads: via Toukaido, Atugi Kaido, Machida Kaido, route 16, Keihin Douro, Yokohama Shindo, Tomei Kousoku) were our best cruising destinations.
I might hear casually that we would kick their ass/beat "the Shonan people"(Shounan no yatura o tatakini yukuzo) or we got teach a lesson. Further more, I was member of the Shorin-ji Kempo and possessed first-degree black belt. I felt the fighting as a practice and exercise of the Shorin-ju Kempo. In addition, I had many friends who were Rightists (Dai Nihon Koukoku Gakusei Rengo) at the Kokushikan Daigaku students (Hoshi Hiroyuki, Kitamura, Yoshinaga), because we had common ground between the Kempo's founder, Mr. So Doshin and their leader Mr. Akao Bin (was decendant of Mr. Uchida Ryouhei during 1930?s. Mr. Uchida Ryohie and So Doshin involved the ?Eincidence at the Marco Polo Bridge?E in China led the Shino-Japan war in 1937. Mr. So Doshin was former Japanese Imperial Army special operation group (Tokumu-Kikan) in Manchuria in 1930s and China. Interestingly, Japan's famous ultranationalists like Mr. Sasagawa Royuichi (former CEO Nihon Senpaku ShinKoukai and Kyoutei), Mr. Kodama Yoshio, and Mr. Akao Bin (ultranationalist) were related with the Tokumu-Kikan or the Kuanto-kun imperial Japanese Army intelligence special operation unit in the China and Manchuria.
